Great service, great shipping, and great items! I ordered the Thickened Glass Wooden Handle Teapot and afterwards, the Electronic Flat Teapot Warmer. My teas look pretty in the glass teapot, but I also use it for coffee. My teapot is also a decanter now, although the lid on the teapot isn't quite sealed to the decanter. Ends up loosening and falling off sometimes, so make sure to hold the lid when pouring or don't use the lid at all! Can't say I'm disappointed by the teapot warmer either! Underestimated how long and how hot it kept my tea warm or really any other hot liquids I drink while I work and forget about... Price isn't too bad either. Now, I give it a 4/5 rating!!! Oh yeah! Wow!
I received my Da Hong Pao Oolong Tea Gift Set from Umi Tea Sets on May 8, 2024. I ordered it in late April and was very happy with the quick shipping! For the price I paid, I was not expecting very much but I was very pleasantly surprised when my package arrived! My tea set was boxed very nicely and was genuinely lovely! The gift bag was extremely nice. Most importantly, the tea set itself was better than expected and just the right size for one person, or two. This is the second purchase I have made from Umi Tea Sets. I am very happy to recommend them and will return again for more tea ware and tea.
I recently bought the Simple Small Chinese Gongfu Tea Set from Umi Tea Sets, and I'm absolutely delighted with it. The set features a beautiful traditional design, combining a sleek black glaze with the natural color of pottery, creating a simple yet elegant aesthetic. The bamboo and black pottery tray adds a rustic charm that perfectly complements the overall look. The teapot’s short, straight spout and arc handle make pouring easy and spill-free, while the cups, with their unglazed bottoms, provide excellent stability on any surface. The detachable tray design is not only visually appealing but also practical, making cleaning straightforward and efficient. Using this tea set has genuinely enhanced my tea-drinking experience, especially during gongfu tea ceremonies. The thoughtful design and quality materials, including ebony, brass, and porcelain, create a serene and meditative atmosphere, making each tea session a tranquil experience. The set feels sturdy and well-made, promising durability and long-term use. I appreciate how this tea set seamlessly blends traditional aesthetics with modern functionality, making it a perfect addition to my daily tea rituals. Overall, I highly recommend the Simple Small Chinese Gongfu Tea Set to anyone interested in traditional tea ceremonies or looking to elevate their daily tea experience. It’s also a fantastic gift for any tea enthusiast.
The website is clean, modern, clear with lots of options and the sets are nicely divided into categories with lots of options. I had a question while browsing the e-shop so I clicked the chat bubble. A person quickly answered and was able to answer my question promptly. The payment was clear, invoice received online and product arrived on time. Overall nice experience. If you're looking for a tea set, this store is worth looking at.
I recently purchased a very functional porcelain mug which came with an infuser, lid, and plate. I had been looking for an item like this for a while, which is very specific and hard to find, so I am happy to have stumbled upon this retailer. The quality of the mug is excellent. Well built and sturdy. A very smooth glaze on the porcelain which also seems to resist stains quite well. It is also beautifully decorated. They shipped fast and the mug arrived in one piece. So far, my personal experience has been great.
Beautiful quality tea set. Fast shipping.
Great quality and great service, quickly response and lots of patience. Will highly recommend.
I’ve ordered many tea sets as well as the tea leaves. The quality of the tea sets are very high and the price is decent. The tea leaves are good quality as well. The shipping could take up to a month. Customer service is good as one time one of my tea sets arrived damaged and I contacted them and the replaced the broken piece free of charge after I sent in photos. Sometimes they include free gifts with your purchase and discounts for purchasing multiple items.
I recently ordered a hand-made Japanese tea set from Umi Tea Sets and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The quality is amazing, with each piece showing the careful work of traditional Japanese pottery. The set looks perfect, with a simple and elegant design that makes my tea time special. The colors and textures are beautiful, making it a great addition to my kitchen. Using this tea set every day has been a joy. The teapot pours smoothly without spilling, and the cups feel comfortable to hold. The design is not only functional but also makes drinking tea a calming and enjoyable experience. Ordering from Umi Tea Sets was easy, and the customer service was very helpful. The set arrived well-packaged, after a quick rinse, everything was safe and ready to use. Given the high quality and attractive look of this tea set, I would definitely order from them again. In addition to the product itself, I was impressed with the variety of options available on their website. There are many styles and designs to choose from, making it easy to find the perfect set for any taste. If you're looking to improve your tea experience with a lovely, hand-made Japanese tea set, Umi Tea Sets is a great choice.
I ordered the dragon cast iron tea pot and it was a better product than I anticipated it being. Very detailed. Works flawlessly. Came with great care instructions. Will purchase all my future tea sets from here!!
The tea set I ordered came quickly. The quality was amazing. And my wife absolutely loved the gift. We’re a coffee family, but have been drinking tea almost every day since we got the set
I ordered this set after reading how it’s crafted and the way in which each step is important during the Japanese Tea Ceremony. Everything Umi Tea creates is designed to enhance the flavor of the tea which is explained on their site. After receiving the tea set I knew my daughter would be so overwhelmingly happy with it. She is learning Japanese and is learning so much about their culture and traditions. So although the set was made in China; it was designed for the Zen tea ceremony, I believe it’s called. My daughter and I were both amazed at the craftsmanship. She has a special love for Mt Fuji and while the mountain depicted wasn’t Mount Fuji; it still depicts sunrise over a mountain. It’s beautiful! The understated beauty of this set is phenomenal. I definitely plan to buy more from this company of craftsman. The traditional, handmade quality of the set absolutely amazed me and she was so surprised I’d found something of such amazing quality. I was so thoroughly excited that I could do this for her on her birthday. Then there was some sort of issue with usps and the day and 1-2 days after it was due to be here. So, I was becoming quite panicky I wouldn’t receive it for her birthday but Umi Tea saw to it another was shipped and I was able to give it to my daughter on the weekend. Customer service was impeccable! They were kind, understanding and swift to action. There is no way of my expressing how much I adore this company but I sincerely do!
To say these guys are professionals at what they do, I would not be enough descriptive. Being a tea lover from early age, I have been traveling to home country just to stock up with tea arsenal to have enough until my next trip, but considering the fact of not being able to go so often, I was in search for similar product. Absolutely randomly I found this website and was immediately greeted with advice of a professional, who suggested variety of teas and a generous discount added to it (which is a bonus by itself). After the first trial of recommended teas, I knew it will be a repeated business as it exceeded my expectations and I should say every package is unique and the presentation of the product it at highest level. If you are still in doubt with thoughts "should I go for it?", my personal advice would be "YES, YOU WON'T FIND ANYTHING BETTER IN UK". This business definitely does not receive the level of attention as it should be, so I hope people will find this review and take a moment to read through it. All the best UMI TEA Sets.
I was looking for a nice tea set for my wife’s birthday. I found the perfect one here, and the order came quickly and intact, despite being delicate. My wife loves it! She uses it every day …
I bought a tea set from this company and love it. It's a beautiful, unique, lotus-themed set. Shipping was pretty fast & easy as well.
This tea set was a birthday gift for my wife - she loves all kinds of teas and has a vast collection of teas. What she needed to go with all the tea was a nice tea set. She spotted this one and fell in love with it. I ordered it for her birthday and it arrived so well packed that it took a while to get it open for wrapping! She loved the set and couldn't wait to use it. Upon review she noticed that the brush set that was supposed to part of the set was missing. I contact Umi who couldn't have been more helpful. They apologized for the oversight and immediately sent the missing parts which arrived quickly. Since her birthday, she has had a few tea parties and each time the tea set is put to good use. She loves showing it off and using it - absolutely beautiful set. The set makes the experience of a tea party even more special - the design and quality of the entire set is wonderful. The cups are perfect for sipping tea and showing off the artwork. We will definitely be shopping more at the Umi Tea Set site - this set is high quality and the customer service is second to none. Great product and great company to deal with. Highly recommend the set and the company.
I love my cast-iron teapot set from Umi Tea! I was hesitant to purchase a teapot online because there are so many fake cast iron products marketed as genuine cast iron, but thus far I'm very happy with my teapot. It appears to be real cast iron and well-made. We use it several times a week! I would definitely purchase from Umi Teas again!
I really like my travel tea set purchased on this website. It’s not only beautiful, it’s very practical, with a small carrying case that lets me bring loose leaf teas to enjoy on the road. The transaction was straightforward & the product arrived in a timely fashion.
