I ordered a gungfu pitcher and a strainer from here. The quality was nice, the only issue that I came across was that the strainer holder was missing paint that was in the picture but I was informed that they all looked that way.
The pitcher was black with a pretty design on it. It was nice and solid and felt very high quality. As for the strainer, other than the aforementioned paint issue, it’s also nice quality and works well.
Shipping was relatively fast and customer service was very helpful and quick to respond. Within just a few emails we were able to resolve the issue that I was having in a very friendly manner.
I’ve used them a few times in gungfu tea ceremonies. They are a great accommodating aesthetic for the ceremony and really bring it all together. For anyone looking to add a beautiful look to their ceremony or just to their tea collection, this is a very nice website with a nice selection. I’ve seen many items on their website that have caught my eye and I will likely buy more in the future if they continue to have such a nice set of tea pots.
Ordered a tea table, the first one came damaged. They offered to send a new one. The second one arrived damaged and made faulty—worse than the first one! Terrible quality products
I ordered an Yixing clay teapot for about $60. Shipped the next day from China with a tracking number, and arrived at my US address 10 days later. Is it authentic Yixing clay for $60? Probably not. But it’s a beautiful teapot and I use it everyday.

UMITeaSets is simply exceptional! I purchased the Japanese Small Tea Set With Travel Bag and the Ginsen Oolong Tea from them, and I am completely impressed! This Japanese tea set is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and functionality. The porcelain used is of the highest quality, with a white and cyan blue finish that exudes a zen style. Additionally, the detachable design makes it perfect for travel. And the fact that the set includes everything needed to enjoy a Gongfu tea ceremony is simply amazing!
The Ginsen Oolong Tea is also outstanding. The blend of high-quality oolong tea with ginseng not only preserves the unique flavor of oolong but also adds sweetness and nutrients from the ginseng. The aroma and taste are rich and satisfying, with a fruity undertone that is simply delicious. Plus, its health benefits, such as weight reduction and skincare, make it a perfect choice for those seeking a drink that is both delightful and beneficial.
In summary, UMITeaSets has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The quality of their products is unmatched, and the customer service is impeccable. I definitely give them a 5-star rating and would recommend them to anyone looking for the ultimate tea experience!
purchased the Yixing Purple Clay Dragon tea cup for my hubby's birthday
I recently purchased the Yixing Purple Clay Carved Dragon Tea Cup from UMI TEA SETS as a birthday gift for my hubby, and it was an absolute hit! He adores it, especially since he is a Dragon in the Chinese zodiac, which makes this gift even more special for him. The craftsmanship of this tea cup is truly remarkable - it's a piece by a renowned purple clay artisan, and you can tell it's made with passion and precision. The dragon carving is meticulously done by a master with over 30 years of experience, showcasing exquisite hand decal technology that brings the dragon to life. It's not just a tea cup; it's a work of art that's also a valuable collector's item. Beyond the product itself, I was really impressed with UMI TEA SETS' service and the shipping process. Everything was smooth and efficient, making the entire experience truly delightful. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy or gift a piece of authentic craftsmanship!
Great service and great product.
I wanted a traditional Chinese tea pot for some time and eventually decided to buy one. After searching the Internet I found this company and an item I liked the look of. A lot of traditional Chinese tea pots can cost vast amounts of money and although the item j purchased wasn't cheap it wasn't hundreds of pounds like some items you find.
The item is of superior quality and a really nice authentic design. Although quite small in volume I live alone and tend to only have a few cups of tea throughout the day so this product is ideal for me.
The delivery of the item itself took a little while, about a week in the end I think but that didn't bother me as I knew from the reviews I'd read online that what was arriving was going to be worth it.
Customer service has been good as well. Constant communication from start to finish of my order to ensure I was happy with my purchase and the service I had received.
If you're looking for a good quality and genuinely authentic item then I would recommend this company. Prices are reasonable, delivery is normal and well packaged and customer service is always happy to help.
I ordered my teapot and it came, and I was so excited it was so beautiful. However, when I put water in it, there was a hairline crack. No one‘s fault just there. I immediately contacted the company and got a very professional response back and the teapot was replaced. No questions asked. I would highly recommend this company, their service is outstanding. I will definitely order from them again. I also got loose tea. That is absolutely delicious.
The tea was the best I have ever seen! It definitely original. I purchased it as a gift and I have never regretted it. There was some issues with delivery, but manager solved the problem. Highly recommend it!
Five Elements Tea Set, Egg Lotus Utensil Set and Japanese Glass Tea Cup with Wooden Lid.
Thoroughly enjoying my new tea set, a wonderful replacement for the very average one I had. Teapot does not drip or spill and feels lovely to hold and pour with. Tea cups are perfect. Utensils are of high quality.
Glass tea cup is perfect when you're short on time or not in the mood for ceremony.
Easy to navigate site, reasonable pricing and swift delivery.
Definitely recommend.
Great Products, really well packaged arrived without issues and in a timely manner! Would highly recommend both tea accesories and teas themselves!
Support issues get taken care of in a very fast and proffesional manner.
Purchased from Umi Tea Sets many items on multiple occasions. I loved everything I received. Great customer service! Can’t wait to buy again from them!
I ordered two tea cadies, fairness cup, and a gaiwan. The package arrived, wrapped nicely for the long journey it went on. All but one item was in perfect condition, the cup part of the gaiwan did break. After contacting customer service, they sent out a replacement cup. That also arrived and packaged perfectly, with no breakage. Though I had to wait an extra two weeks for the replacement, my overall experience was great. Wonderful quality and customer service
These teapots are really beautiful
I LOVE these tea pots. They are beautiful, adorable, they have a great feel, small, just enough for a cup of tea : that’s perfect for me. I love looking at them , using them, handling them.
There is a lot of waiting before they arrive ; that can be disturbing but i after all they come directly from China, so that is understandable.
I will order a cup. I love that teaware so much
