My dressed arrived today (10 days from the day of purchase) and is exactly what I ordered, true to color (dusty rose), excellent fit (provided my own measurements), and with very nice detailing and finishing. The dress looks and feels wonderful on and will be worn for a beach wedding I am attending. Of course I always read comments about any company before I order anything, but I make my own decisions and do a lot of prep work on my own before ordering as I am an experienced online shopper. Store shopping does not meet my needs. The communication with customer service at UWDress was excellent. Several emails were exchanged to make sure sizing, length etc. was exactly what I wanted. They listened to me and followed through. I received a beautiful, custom product at an amazing price.

I'm speaking from experience. Recently, a special friend of mine announced her wedding plans and among them, I was to be a bridesmaid. The bride searched on-line for the "just right" dress she wanted her bridesmaids to wear; and, she found it on uwdress. She sent the link to all of us and we each went on-line and placed our orders. As sizes differ from country to country, uwdress let us know that we could send them our individual measurements (even sent us pictures and "how to" measure) and they made the dresses to our specifications! I was totally amazed that, for the same price as was shown on the web page, they actually made our dresses to our measurements! And SO timely!! Within 3 weeks, I had my perfectly fitted dress in my hands! Sent via DHL! I am so pleased with the results, I felt I just had to let everyone know that to make their selection of dress through uwdress is a step in the right direction. No worry about not fitting! Or not seeing it on you! It fits because YOU give THEM your measurements! It's as easy as that! I'm very pleased with the final product! Thank you, uwdress! You were wonderful to work with and took the worry out of the process!
My dress was made to my measurements and fit perfectly. I ordered on June 20 and received the dress on June 27, 3 days earlier than promised. I will order from here again if the need arises.
Hi i would just like to share my experience with this company .i had ordered a dress from them and i got it in time for the wedding and when i texted them to even ask question they respond right away ..for the upcoming weddings every where i would highly recomend this company
I ordered two bride's maids dresses for my sister's wedding. They were exactly the colors be pictured. They fit as expected. The company not only made certain to get them to me well before the wedding date- even though it was short notice, but they called me to make sure the details were correct (dresses were different colors, custom size). I don't understand all of the horrible reviews. My guess would lack of communication. I had a great experience (exactly the opposite of David's Bridal - they were awful).
I wish there was a zero stars option for this review.
I did not want to order from this company, but through the bride's urging I gave in. I assumed the dress would be faulty based on all the reviews, and I was right. They added all of this extra padding in the chest which is sewn up near the shoulders. Pretty sure I have never met a person with breasts on their shoulders. The dress actually ran big...I measured myself and even ordered the same size I wore in the US. The dress was so gappy in the back and awkwardly sewn. It looked like a futuristic dress from the Hunger Games. I tried to return it and they would charge me additional shipping plus the cost of me shipping it back to them. I would have lost over 60 dollars to return it for their fault. I just disputed it.
I don't know why you'd order a bridesmaid dress from here when you could just get one at David's Bridal for the same price. It's really not worth the risk.
These people have f'd up my wedding. There was something wrong with all three of my girls dresses. It was their fault and when my girls emailed them to let them know, they lied which we saved all emails. All my girls was asking for was a refund. I hope they never make another dime. I'm f'kn upset.
I would give them no stars if that was an available option. And we'll see if they post this because the horrible review is a reflection of how horrible of a company uwdress is. First off, not all of my bridesmaid ordered their dresses and they still got made and shipped. I contacted uwdress and said i wanted to order 6 bridesmaid dresses and they said ok to email them all the bridesmaids names along with putting in the order comments section "together with"and a number so all the dresses could be made out of the same fabric ensuring the same color. One of my bridemaids didn't put her order in, and I know she didn't because we kept in contact and I told her to let ne know when she ordered hers. She said she will soon and i got a text that same day from another bridesmaid that her dress would be delivered, so they just went ahead and made them and shipped them. Ok so the dress arrive and they're not the same color as the picture. Not to mention, all my bridesmaids did a custom sizing and at least one of the dresses didn't fit. I don't know how that's possible with custom sizing, since you're going off the exact measurements my bridesmaids gave. Then to top it all off, they send a defective product. The dye from the dress was coming off and transferring onto everything, skin, dryer sheets, whatever the dress rubbed up on or against. I would have hoped that for such a special occassion, it would commission special consideration in the making of these dresses, and they wanted pictures for proof. I sent them the pictures and their advice was since the dress price is only $78 and since the shipping fee is very expensive they can refund me $20 directly for each dress and my bridesmaids could keep them and try to sell them. Uh no. I said I want a 100% refund because they sold and shipped a defective product to me. I haven't heard anything back from them.
I order a dress from UWDRESS for my sister's wedding. It was supposed to be custom made. I sent my measurements along with my payment. I ordered the dress two months in advance it took 7 weeks for the dress to come.It finally came a week before the wedding but it didn't fit. I had to scramble to find something to wear for the ceremony. I was so upset.
I placed an order with this company for 3 bridesmaids dresses. I was led to believe I was paying in canadian dollars.when I checked my visa account I seen that wasn't the case.I asked to plz cancel my order. I was told that there were coupons that would make up the difference. Again I noticed they had taken more money from my visa.I asked to cancel my order.I received an email telling me that they don't want to place my order and that I will be reimbursed when they get around to it.maybe 30 days or more and they advised me that the email address they have is no longer available. I am now having to try to fix this problem with my visa.BUYER BEWARE .

I sent the dresses back without tracking because there apparently was no tracking to this location in China, and i did not receive a refund.

I purchased my dress before I read any reviews on other sites. I was very nervous when I came here and read all of these bad reviews. My first dress was cut way to low but the rest of it fit fine. I used their online chat and asked about a shawl. They charged me the $25.00 (no shipping fee) for a shawl of any length and width I wanted. That helped with the dress being cut to low. I was happy with their corrections so I ordered another dress, after I read these reviews. I liked Style D47050 but did not like the two different types of shoulders. I used the chat function on their website and discussed only wanting the left side ruffle shoulder. I also explained to them that I am a short, bigger women and asked if there were any other measurements they needed to get the neckline better. For 3 days we discussed back and forth, through email, how to get my measurements right. I went ahead and ordered again. This time I was extremely pleased with my dress. The length, the shoulder, the cup size, etc. are all perfect. My dress is in Peacoat but it is a little lighter in color, but I am ok with that. My advice is to use the online chat function and talk to someone before you just order. That way you get the custom fit you really are wanting. The dress is a little big on me, but $25.00 to have it altered and it fits perfect. Even when you buy from expensive stores, you typically have to have it altered a little. The dress did come very wrinkle so I paid another $15.00 to have it pressed well. All in all, I paid $107 for the dress (with shipping) and $40 of extra fees afterward. I have a perfect Mother of the Groom dress for less than $150. I am happy and would purchase again.
Let me start out by saying that I frequently shop online, so I'm not a stranger to the process. That said, this is bar none the worst online shopping experience of my life. Let me tell you how.
1. I paid extra for a custom fitted dress. When I got it the fit wasn't even close to what I had sent, and the bra was in the wrong place. No real way around that one. There were also wrinkles in the inner lining of the chest that didn't line up with the lace and looked terrible. So fit and construction issues.
2. The color wasn't even close to the image, so you can't count on that to get an idea. I understand that computer screens can be misleading, but my light peach dress shouldn't have been tangerine.
3. I was also surprised to see that this dress was made in China. Had I know that I would've likely been more careful.
4. The customer service was impossible to work with. They kept brushing me off, or trying to make it sound like the problems with the dress were my fault, not theirs. They treated me like an idiot, and I literally asked them to just take the dress back and end my nightmare. Because that was what it felt like.
5. They didn't want the dress back, and repeatedly made me offers to get me to back off from my quest to get the full refund. Such as offering to make a new dress for $60 and I keep this one. Or giving me $20 if I drop the whole thing.
6. The shipping I paid is apparently not refundable, which makes sense. What's weird is they try to make the $22.75 I paid in shipping over $45 because they can. I think that's the entire reason they have the "discounted shipping". So they can take advantage of dissatisfied customers. This is a quote from their email explaining it.
"For the actual shipping fee, you paid $22.75 for the shipping in the order. But it is the shipping cost with 70% off which is published in all style page. So the shipping cost is $75.83 (=22.75/0.3).
We are big customer of express, they offer great discount on shipping cost, so the actual shipping cost (sale price for shipping) is 45$. We use UPS to ship package in 3-5 days, so actual shipping fee is much more than what customers paid to us."
Whatever. At the end of the day no matter what I do I'm out at least $100 and still don't have a dress. You can choose to buy from here, but I recommend you look elsewhere. Like literally anywhere else.
Do not order from this website! They sell SUPER cheap knock offs that look nothing like the pictures. They make you jump through hoops to try to get your money back then after you ship it back at your own cost you will get NONE of your money back!!! Ps comes from China!
I purchased my dress without reading the reviews first, and when I showed my daughter the dress that I bought she read the reviews on UWdress, and it horrified me!!! I was so nervous that I was going to get a horrible dress, that I was not going to be able to get my money back, and that I wouldn't have anything to wear to the wedding that I was attending. Let me say this, before I ordered my dress I read the return policy. So I knew that it would be very difficult to get a refund. WHICH IS WHY I WENT AND GOT MEASURED AND ORDERED MY DRESS CUSTOM!!!! While waiting for my dress to arrive, I read these horrible reviews, had trouble tracking my dress, found out the company was in China, and was absolutely horrified! almost in complete panic mode because I thought for sure I was getting a crappy dress! Then it arrived. 19 days after I placed my order. I have to say, I wasn't pleased with the packaging. It should've been in a garment bag, but I understand why it was packaged that way. (to save on shipping costs) Anyway, when I tried my dress on, it fit absolutely perfect!! a little wrinkled but beautiful material, color was accurate, and it matched the picture online. If I could say anything bad about the dress it would be not being able to track my shipment, and or contact the company. All things considering, I paid a small price for a great dress. I would buy a dress from them again.
The only good thing about this company is the dress came quick and on time. Other than that it was the UGLIEST thing I have ever seen. Not even close to the dress I ordered. The fit was HUGE and I measured myself before ordering. They added extra fabric to the front to make a "ruffle" Which was not advertised at all. There is a built in bra that is not even close to my bra size so it sits up high on top of my chest bringing the entire dress up and the "v neckline" to my throat. Its like 4 layers thick. Its bulky and ugly and would not look good on anyone. DON'T EVEN TRY AND GET A REFUND. I have been emailing back and forth for DAYS and they STILL have not sent me a return address. I ended up calling my bank and doing a card dispute because it is beyond ridiculous and I am done talking to them. They want me to go to the UPS store find out what the cost to ship back will be and then tell them that cost. I am the one covering the cost why would they need that information???? Apparently that will be deducted from the refund but I am the one paying that cost??? its a scam for sure. I'm so upset I spent over $100 on a dress that is maybe worth $10. JUST DON'T DO IT. Someone needs to shut down this awful company.
I was surprised how gorgeous this dress was. Superb quality, really well-made. However, it is not like the photo and much, much shorter: NOT TEA LENGTH. It's snug so order large and make sure you read the measurements properly. In the future I'll only buy a dress I can try on first. But for this event, this dress will work out fine.

Don't buy from this company! You can NOT RETURN!!!!!!
My mother recently bought a dress from Uwdress. It was terribly made and had a faulty zipper. The dress had cups sown in, and they were practically placed at the neck line! The zipper did not zip! It was broken. My parents emailed the company, asking for a return. They company told them that they needed pictures of her in the dress, and that since they gave her a discount on shipping she would be responsible to pay 100% of the shipping costs to return the dress. They later then email my parents saying, "get an estimate on shipping and let us know the price, then MAYBE we will give you a return shipping site. Umm... Excuse me!!!!! They ship out a broken product and now my parents lose shipping costs? Or worse, they won't give them the shipping address and my parents will lose 100% of the cost of the dress??
I encourage everyone NOT to purchase from a company who will screw their customers over. People shouldn't be swindled out of money and taken advantage of, but that's exactly what this company does apparently!

Please do not order anything from this company. The dress I ordered is completely unwearable. Broken zipper, crooked arm holes, built in bra up to my neck. Worse, they will not give me their return address. They require pictures of me in the dress,(not going to happen) a quote for shipping back to China, (on my dime) and then possibly, maybe, they will give me the return address, at which point they will subtract 48.00 for shipping costs from my refund. It cost them $22.00 to ship, I paid $24.00
The matter has now been taken up with my credit card company. I filed a dispute!
