We advertise "+ Applicable Fees" during the package selection screen, and breakdown what those fees are in the fine print throughout the ordering process. The additional amount you referenced includes the mandatory USPTO government filing fee, which applies (per class) whether you file a trademark yourself, hire an attorney, or use a filing service. And the Swyft Legal attorney fee (per class). The government fees are not imposed by our company and are required to submit a trademark application. We also want to address your comments regarding our customer service team. While English may not be the first language of some of our representatives, they are dedicated professionals who work hard to assist our customers and provide accurate information throughout the filing process. When assisting with cancellation, they do their best to educate our customers on what a service is and how it can benefit them, but will honor your requests and cancel any unwanted services. We do see that you spoke with Heather regarding cancellation of your Trademark Monitoring Plus subscription. Heather correctly advised that no charges for that subscription would be attempted, as the subscription was successfully canceled. The charge you are referencing is the filing fee associated with your trademark application, not a subscription charge. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
