Tithe.ly Church Giving & Engagement Platform

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star)

I’ve been a Tithely customer for nearly 10 years, and I’m incredibly disappointed with how my billing issue has been handled. When I updated an expired payment method, my account was somehow switched into a different subscription without my knowledge. I didn’t realize it had happened until I had already been charged for several months. The biggest issue isn’t just the charges it’s the complete lack of willingness to work with a long-time customer. I explained multiple times that I never intentionally signed up for these services and never used them, yet every response has simply pointed back to company policy instead of looking at the circumstances or offering a reasonable solution. To make matters worse, after I disputed the charges, Tithely still attempted to charge me another $88. After already collecting hundreds of dollars for services I never knowingly enrolled in or used, seeing another charge attempted was unbelievable. As a pastor, I expected a company that serves churches and ministries to value customer relationships and operate with fairness and goodwill. Instead, I felt like I was talking to a policy manual rather than people who genuinely wanted to resolve the issue. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable. I simply wanted someone with the authority to review my situation and make a fair decision based on the facts. After nearly a decade as a customer, this experience has been extremely discouraging. I hope Tithely takes customer service more seriously and empowers its team to resolve situations like this instead of relying solely on rigid policies.

Tithe.ly Church Giving & Engagement Platform

1 Star Our church has been loyal Tithely customers for nearly 10 years, and until now we have never had a reason to complain. Unfortunately, my recent experience with customer service has been extremely disappointing. When updating the church payment information, the account was switched to a different subscription without us realizing it. We never used the additional services, yet we were still charged for them. While I understand mistakes can happen—including my own—I asked Tithely to work with me in good faith since the services were never used. Instead of receiving a reasonable resolution, I was told I was still responsible for prorated charges for services I never accessed. That makes absolutely no sense to me. If a service was never used, why should a customer be paying for it? What disappoints me the most is that Tithely serves churches and ministries. I expected customer service that reflected grace, fairness, and a willingness to help long-time customers. Instead, I was met with policies over people. As a pastor, I interact with many churches and ministry leaders who use or are considering Tithely. This experience has made it difficult for me to recommend the platform, not because of the software itself, but because of how this situation was handled. I hope Tithely reconsiders how it treats long-term customers when honest mistakes happen. Customer loyalty should matter, and goodwill goes a long way.
