Leica M-M6 Custom Plate

I had been looking for a Leica M-M6 Custom Plate to fit my Leica MA, and Acratech had the item in stock. I ordered it, and it arrived at my residence within the week. It fits nicely on my Leica MA, and now I can use it with my tripod and ball head, which is compatible with the Arca-Swiss type release clamp.

Great quality

Great quality, I have purchased many of their products and have never been disappointed. Top quality and craftsmanship.

I ordered the wrong item

I ordered the wrong item. They replaced it with the correct one. I would contact them, before I purchase and item online to make sure I had the right item. Otherwise great service.

Great quality workmanship

I use Acratech gear because of its high quality, ruggedness, and that it's a family business making this stuff in the USA. The GPX ball head, lever lock, camera and lens plates provide an adaptable and solid platform for my photography. Thanks to Scott and Patty!

Great product, great service

Great product, great service. Everything was great. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

The best ball head I've invested in!

I used the GXP-SS on a recent trip to Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands. I had to undertake considerable trekking in winter conditions over hilly terrain. I chose the GXP-SS ball head for use with my Nikon Z9 and a Z 24-70 f/4 lens which I use for landscape photography. PROs:The ball head coped really well with the mounted equipment load, and withstood the winter conditions and intermittent snowfall well. The high torque screws worked really well and did not fail even once. CONS: Maybe it's just me, but I found reversing the ballhead to shoot panoramas rather fiddly and cumbersome in the intense cold, icy winds and with winter (photographic) gloves on. I plan on investing in a good levelling head to go with this ball head.

Owner took my call on his day off

Owner took my call on his day off. Found a solution for my classic Canon EOS1n. Really went the extra mile to help me out. Unusual service in this day and age. Thank yiu!

Order was processed quick and arrive in quick time.

Order was processed quick and arrive in very good time to NZ. As yet I have had very little time to use the product in the field but initial use is excellent, functions very well and easy to use. The large bubble level is great. The ability to rotate the arca swiss plate is also necessary for my photography and has a nice stable fit. Based on limited use so far I am very happy.

Easy to place an order and fast delivery.

Easy to place an order and fast delivery. Each quick release plate I have ordered from Acratech has fit the camera and has eliminated the camera slipping and rotating on the tripod.

Always great gear and great service…

Always great gear and great service from Acratech!

I have other ball heads but they always…

I have other ball heads but they always slip forward when cranked into position. Buy it right the first time. I was very pleased when I called for a repair on my first ball head. The knobs had worn out after many years of service.

great product, easy to use, solid feel to it, and great delivery time!

Great company to do business with

Easy website to navigate. Notification from Acratech within minutes that my order was received. Another notification the same day my order was shipped. Item arrived in well packaged boxes with foam inserts for protection during shipping. Very impressed with this and the tripod head/leveling base is the best I’ve ever owned. I’m a highly satisfied customer!
