I know the team behind Akkadu AI, and what has impressed me most is their sense of responsibility and genuine commitment to building a useful product. They are thoughtful, responsive, and clearly care about making AI-powered interpretation more accessible and practical for real-world communication.
I haven’t personally used Akkadu AI enough to comment on its interpreting performance, but based on my interactions with the team, I believe they are building the product with the right mindset: focusing on real user needs rather than simply adding AI for the sake of it. The team is also very reasonable and transparent when it comes to pricing, which makes the product particularly attractive from a value-for-money perspective. It’s great to see a team that combines technical ambition with a responsible and user-oriented approach.
I've used it twice: for video calls from China, each lasting an hour. The first time, it worked well. The second time, it didn't work because it didn't translate simultaneously and had a huge latency delay. I'm hesitant to use this system a third time.

Thanks for the feedback! Could you tell us what AI engine you were using?
We provide 4 AI engines:
1. Microsoft
2. iFlytek
3. OpenAI
4. Google
iFlytek engine is the only one with servers inside China, others have servers outside of China. Since you are in China, we'd strongly recommend using iFlytek engine. The delay is very little.
Microsoft and OpenAI can also be used but, the delay will depend on the internet connection to their servers at that moment. Sometimes they can be unstable causing delays.
For Google, if you are inside China, you will have to use an stable VPN to make it work.
Finally, next month we plan to upgrade iFlyltek engine integrating their latest model, this will make the engine more accurate with better performance.

Current model is good and excellent service provided by Akkadu, and script also coming and generating by more accurate thanks
Need to some customised while transcript like time stamp or while silence need to breakdown text or every 30 or some section sec need to breakdown paragraph wise instead of continue lines of script
Plz customise the script .we need this kind of customisable plz let me know if it posible

I'd like to see a portable application. I have a computer where I can't install it on Windows 11 due to administrator permissions. Additionally, I'd like to have this application on iOS.

Did you manage to install on your Windows11? If you are using a company laptop you may have to ask your IT department to help.
We plan to launch our Android & iOS version by the beginning of next year 2027.
Near-perfect real-time translation in multiple langauges
We've used Hakkado for multiple classes and talks by international artists. It's very easy to use, but above all, it offers virtually perfect real-time translation in all the languages we've used it in.
The only thing I'd like to see changed is the censorship that's sometimes automatically applied to certain words.

It didn't work with the WhatsApp app, it translated what I said but not what the other party said.

Hi Damian!
To translate what the other people is saying, in the "Audio Input" section "Basic", you just have to select "Computer audio".
If you want to translate both (your audio and what the other people say) in the "Audio Input" section "Advanced", you can select "Computer sound" as Sound source, then "your microphone" as Second sound source.
