What a fabulous hire company
What a fabulous hire company. This is our forth year and they have always been brilliant. We had to fly back for a day half way through our holiday and they let us park for free at their offices and even gave us a lift to the airport. Check in and out really easy and a great car. Thank you.
Nice clean reliable car
Easy pick up and drop off instructions at the Lisbon airport! They had someone waiting for us for each. The car we rented for 3 weeks was a very nice reliable car. No issues. Would recommend and definitely use Amoita again!! Thank you!
The car was brand new
The car was brand new, the personel was not on the pick up time. At 17.00 on 14-03-2026 was nobody for delevering. So I dropped the key into the letterbox.

Best car rental in Algarve
Great service and the cars are in conditions whenever I rented. I choose them always if I visit to Algarve. The staffs are very friendly and attentive any time we need. They are always punctual in delivery and pick up of cars.

Top service
I use Amoita (also known as Rentcar4less) regularly through Zest. They have always been easy to work with and provide a good service. We have just used them for car hire in December and our flight back was cancelled meaning we had to stay an extra two days. I just called Amoita and explained the issue and they extended the rental agreement with no issues. The paperwork was done digitally so no need to go to their office. Excellent service
Efficient and friendly
A good choice
Always. had a good experience with Amoita. We have used them for 20 years with no problems. They also are about the only car hire firm who will accept a Debit Card Payment. Also no 2000 Euro deposit which other firms use to plunder. Highly recommended. There are some bad reviews but a believe these are from competitors.
Excellent!!!
I hired a car from November 8th till November 20th. They brought the car at my hotel in lissabon and I dropped off at Faro airport. They have an excellent service and very friendly staff. The car was in perfect condition and had only 60.000km on it. The price was very sharp comparing to others. If i return to Portugal i wil not hesitate to rent a car again with them. Highly recommend!!!

Amotia were fantastic and I can't thank them enough. Greta price, no oversell on Excess insurance, seamless delivery and collection from Lisbon Airport. Great Communications on arrival and return. Great car in mint condition. I can't recommend them enough.
Good but vehicle wasn’t what we ordered.
Good, Agents waited patiently for our 3.5 hour delay through airport security (Lisbon security queues horrendous) Vehicle wasn’t what we ordered or expected- we’d ordered a small automatic SUV and were given a small / meduim saloon car…. Which in fairness performed okay except the gear box wasn’t good. Drop off was good too, all-in-all a satisfactory experience- only criticism was the vehicle 🚗….. if I request a pint of gin and tonic for example - I don’t wish to be handed half pint of beer 🍺 I get it that when you order the vehicle it’s ’or equal alternative’ but this wasn’t equal.
Fantastic experience @ Faro
We walked across to P4 car park were we found the stand. After filling the information in which I could have done online. The lady was very friendly and polite. She made me aware that I must return the car with the same amount of fuel. On returning the car we dropped it off in P1 car park they came and checked it out. Before wishing us a safe flight home. After they had left I realized that my wallet was still in the car. So I contacted them and with in 10 minutes I had my wallet back.
