Several times I used this company. Used others but I keep coming back to Amoita. This is just the best car rental company. Zero aggressive upsell, professional and punctual. Great communication, transparent bills. I wished they would do more countries.
Rented a car for 10 days with Amoita via Zest Car rental. We rented at Lisbon airport and returned to Faro airport. Great seervice from beginning to end with all parties involved, will use again.
Have rented a hire car from Amoita every year that we’ve been going to Portugal, I book it all online and never encounter any problems, the booking system is so easy to use and you get confirmation so quickly. When going to the office in Faro to pick up/ return the car, the staff are so pleasant and friendly. Can’t fault there customer service.

Booked through Zest. Competitively priced. Car delivered on time at villa and in good condition. Previously all paperwork completed online so no hassle on delivery. Staff very pleasant to deal with. Car was to be collected by a specific time but had to telephone company and ended up leaving the car at the villa for them to collect. This wasn't a hassle to be fair.
We were not happy with the condition of the car. The rear view mirror was broken and held up with 2 strips of scotch tape, which of course did not last. I had to hold up the mirror so that my husband could see the GPS until we were able to find a store that sold packing tape so we could secure the mirror to the window.
Rented at Faro Airport Simple instructions and excellent value for money. So glad we did not opt for a bigger car as the road lanes are very narrow. Pick up and Drop off at the airport were very efficient and the staff were very helpful. Thank you so much for a pain-free experience. I recommend them wholeheartedly
Absolutely 1st class service , from start to finish, we had a great car and the price was reasonable, no visa charges up front just a hold in case of return of no fuel etc , Was met at the Airport on my return and all good would definitely use again
Rep arrived with our vehicle early before our flight was PM due to land. We were delayed exiting airport due to new EES system chaos, but rep still there. Very lovely and straight forward. Arrived early to drop off car and was told that's not a problem. Great value and service. Would recommend for others in the future.
We collected our car from Faro Airport 09.05.26 after a late night flight that was also delayed we just followed the car rental signs. Couldn’t find Amoita but I had their representatives contact details. Was made at ease straight away and directed to the correct collection point. Check in staff warmly greeted us took us to the car. The dropping back was again so easy with staff being so welcoming. Oh and check in online was a dream. Will definitely use again and recommend to others.
Efficient service . Convenient that car was delivered to our hotel. Booking online was easy to do. Negative points was the car appeared old with also 77.500 miles on clock. Had a lot of wear and tear and scratches. Sat Nav was old style and clearly never updated. Took us through unmarked narrow roads. We ended up using the phone. However it served our purpose.
The whole process was incredibly easy and the car was great. We got a WhatsApp message when our plane landed. A person met us in the airport and walked us to our car, which was in the parking garage attached to the airport. The car was in great shape, and we had no issues with it whatsoever. We returned it to the same garage (again, attached to the airport) and someone met us there to receive it. I would totally use this company again. So great!
P4 car park in Faro is quite awkward to find - and the “desk” was a wee table at the side of a cabin - not what I anticipated! Getting car was fine and easy once found. Car was clean but has been scraped along bottom sill badly - the clutch was also in need of replacement. The returning was good and staff were on hand immediately so able to head off to check in after just a few minutes. Overall the service was good but some aspects of car a bit dodgy. I’d probably use them again though as the value for money was good.
Excellent welcome and a very easy process. This was probably the smoothest hire car transaction we have ever had from collection to the return of the car. Will definitely use again when we are next in Portugal. Thank you.
