Contradictory Information and Unfair Handling of My Payout Request
I am extremely disappointed with the way my case has been handled by your support team.
Your responses have been contradictory and have created even more confusion instead of providing a clear explanation.
In your first email, you clearly stated:
"Complete at least 8 new trading days (count begins with the day after the violation date)."
The violation occurred on July 20, therefore, according to your own explanation, the new trading day count should have started on July 21.
However, in your latest response you state:
"Trade Day 11 is the July 23rd payout request that was denied. Since then, you have accumulated 2 trading days on July 24th and 27th."
This is a completely different explanation.
In your first response, the count begins after the violation date.
In your second response, the count begins after the payout request was denied.
Those are two different rules, and they cannot both be correct.
What concerns me even more is what happened with the payout request itself.
Your system allowed me to submit a payout request. As you know, if the account is not eligible, the system simply does not allow a payout request to be submitted.
After allowing me to submit it, you later denied it because you determined that my Maximum Adverse Excursion had exceeded 35% of my profits, when the limit is 30%.
If that condition had already been met, why did your own system allow the payout request in the first place?
That should have been detected immediately by your own controls, not after I had already submitted the request.
As a result of a mistake that originated from your own system, I have now been required to start the 8 trading days and 5 qualifying days all over again.
In other words, I have effectively been penalized because your system allowed a payout request that, according to you, should never have been accepted.
I find this extremely unfair and very disappointing.
I would appreciate a clear explanation of:
Which of your two explanations is actually correct regarding when the 8-day count begins.
Why your system accepted a payout request if the account was supposedly already in violation of the 30% MAE rule.
Why I have been forced to restart the payout qualification process due to what appears to be a failure in your own validation process.
I expected a much higher standard of consistency and transparency from your support team.
