This site is a minefield of scam. The adds on this website lure you into scam downloads. Don’t pay the 1 ct bankaccount confirmation fee. It tricked me into an unwanted, useless and extremely hard to cancel membership that disn’t have anything to do with the software I wanted to download and cost me E 49.99.
The story; I was looking for an old peace of software for a powermeter that doesn’t exist on de playstore anymore. To download it I had to pay a 1ct icon fee to “check my bank account”, what really happened was signing u for a unwanted 50.- a month membership with only AI bots answering mail and telephone and sending you in a never ending loop.
After many hours of communication and proof that I did everything I could to cancel the membership my bankcompany was able to block any future withdrawals. The 50.- is gone though.

Installed one app, and APKPure silently started downloading a 1GB game without clear consent. It consumed my hotspot data immediately. Extremely misleading behavior.
Great selection of apps, including many you can’t find on the Play Store. But the ads are killing it. They pop up from every corner and make the app very uncomfortable to use. In my opinion, this monetization method is terrible. I’m giving a mid-range score solely because the ads are a huge obstacle when trying to download games.

Title: A Goldmine or a Minefield? 🛡️
APKPure is a great alternative to the Play Store for accessing geo-restricted apps and older version history. However, after deep research, here’s my warning:
✅ Pros: Access to unavailable apps and fast updates.
❌ Cons: Lacks rigorous security. It's a "Digital Trap" with many fake clones of apps like ChatGPT or WhatsApp. These clones often ask for dangerous permissions (SMS, Contacts) to steal your data. Intrusive ads and phishing links are common.
Final Verdict: Never use APKPure for apps available on the Play Store. It's only for power users who know how to scan for malware. Regular users—stay safe, stay official!

I randomly got subscribed to Yogapwr while using
apkpure.com (china-southern-airlines)
I did not consent to this subscription in anyway, yet received an email saying that I was on a free trial for 24 hours then would be charged £34.99 per month after that.
I cancelled my subscription via the link in the email.
I have now canceled the subscription but in the email was told I will be charged £34.99 as a "service fee".
I did not willing purchase your product/service, and was singed up without my knowledge or consent via a scam link on a page.

I strongly DO NOT recommend subscribing to any APKPure services. I fully paid for a premium subscription, but it was never activated, customer support does not respond at all, and I have no way to get my money back. Based on my experience: do NOT subscribe to APKPure – you risk losing your money with zero support.

I ignored a request asking me to update for around 3 months, but it kept flashing up everytime I turned my Android box on, eventually I updated and there after the next day when i turned on my android box nothing worked.
I found myself lucky that in deleting the app restored normality.

No Thank You, I would rather install registered games legally from Google Play! And buy some Legal Nintendo Titles for the Nintendo Switch 2 from a legalized store!
But, I would occasionally look for "Coming Soon" Titles within the "Coming Soon" page!

apkpure.com used to be an excellent site where I could download Android apps as clean, pure .apk files - ready to install on my phone, without using Google. However, they have now changed that by developing an horrendous, noisy, pushy 'apkpure' app that you have to use in order to download "xapk"-files, their new, hopeless 'wrapping' for pure apk files.

They use these X APK files that were created by them and then you need their app you need their whole app and yeah so yeah it's really bad I just want a regular APK not some weird xapk it's just give me my normal APK package
It didn't even let me install a single apk. The three day test period was over at the second start attempt on the same day of installation and it charges a whopping 6,99 per *week* of usage which you can "cancel anytime" - well, after what I experienced I really don't trust promises like that. The app itself was, when looked at it, shock full of ad libraries.

It only works on some apps now. I never had a problem with it in the past. But now when trying to install SOME apps, it's syas "User canceled". Even though I didn't even touch the phone. It is no longer an alternative to the play store.
