I have informed the company of my disappointment with their meat pasties, inedible cloth-like beef. Also hardly any chicken in the Chicken and Tarragon Pie. There was a noticeable lack of cheese in the Cheddar and Onion pasty; when cut into, a cheese pasty should ooze molten cheese. Not this one. Such a shame, the gfpastry is crisp and the best I've ever tasted. The quiches are good. I really want this company to do better and thrive.
I bought a box of these pies, two of each in December for easy GF teas in the New Year. Unfortunately they are not the quality they once were. Whilst the pastry is fine there is less filling in all of them, the beef and mushroom one had two pieces of beef and one piece of mushroom and the chicken, mushroom and tarragon had a tonne of tarragon with three small pieces of mushroom and one piece of chicken. Its very disappointing and very expensive for what you are getting so going back to making my own. Wouldn't recommend or order again. Delivery arrived on time.
No 'Use by' dates. Delivery left by wrong door despite detailed instructions being taped to the top of the actual delivery box by carrier.
Absolutely delish! The ginger cake is to die for. Since being diagnosed celiac and lactose intolerant I've missed simple things like sausages rolls and pies as a treat. Now, theyre back on the menu. Though, I do have to hide them before all the family scoffs them.
Unfortunately they use DPD as their wheels for delivery, who I have experienced before with their ineptitude for customer service. Advised delivery today with a one hour slot, no door bell ringing, so need a door camera. No notification of one hour slot, so rang Baked to Taste, to chase , DPD had advised a problem, with a delivery tomorrow, but the customer ME uninformed. Says it all for DPD , would not use Baked for Taste again using these carrriers Meanwhile my order is sat in the back of a truck
Very disappointed with the pasties Rudy curry pasty and Chicken and chorizo pasty very dry no taste to them .I ordered 2 of each the other 2 going in bin. Worse pasty I ever had.

The feedback regarding dryness and lack of flavour in both the Ruby Curry and Chicken and Chorizo pasties has been passed straight to our kitchen team for review. We have not had similar reports, so this is concerning and will be looked into closely. Our first purchase was a mixed selection to give all the products a fair go - pasties, brownies, vegan rolls, mini quiche, sausage rolls, ready-to-roll pastry, batter mix for pancakes and tempura. I can tell you that it has all been fantastic (the chicken and chorizo pasty being a big hit), and I will be placing a restock order shortly. Thank you for making GF food gorgeous ❤️❤️
Ordered from here on a bit of a whim as finding decent GF pies and scones has become a bit of a mission! So glad I did and will definitely be ordering again; pies are tasty and crumbly and scones are light.
Speedy delivery of lovely gluten free bakes. I found their bead cobs (rolls to those not Nottinghamshire born!) the nearest I’ve had to my mum’s bread from my childhood! My daughter (she’s not coeliac) has enjoyed the quiche’s & carrot cakes with me, & my husband really enjoyed the rich fruit cake. Will be buying again once my waistline allows me to! Thoroughly recommend
I have been searching for good savoury Gluten Free items for a while and came across Baked to Taste. After seeing their posts on Insta and looking at the website several times out of frustration at not finding anything suitable, I finally decided to just try them. I am glad I did as I wasn't disappointed. I ordered at least 10 - 12 products from them and couldn't fault any of them as they were delicious. The carrot cake was a little too sweet for my taste and the cheese scones could do with a bit more cheesy flavour but they were still yummy. The quiche's and pasties were almost as good as the Gluten ones. My only request is if they can keep breads and dessert pies, I won't have to place orders on different sites and would just order everything from them! I am all set to place my next order nonetheless. Their customer service is great too, they called me up to tell me the Venison and Port Pie was sold out and what would I like to replace it with. I really wanted to try the venison pie so hopefully this time it will be available. Go ahead and place your order, you will enjoy your treats!

Always beautiful tasting gluten free food. Never any problems. Just wish they would expend their veggie range of pies, flans etc. Every person needing gluten free should try them.
I have had several deliveries from this company and everything is delicious from the pies to the cakes. The pastry is the best gluten free I have ever had and the fillings are scrumptious. The cakes are also delicious and I can’t wait to try the new Jamaican Ginger. Thank you for everything.
I have been using Baked to Taste for many years. Always quality pies and pastry. I am gluten and lactose intolerant which often means I am offered vegan food when I love meat. The products are always well packed and arrive still frozen. I use their pastry to make my own quiches using lacto-free cheddar. I hope they will add more gluten and lactose free products in the future.
I had my first delivery of Baked to Taste a few weeks ago, recommended by a friend. We're both Coeliac, so gluten free is very important. The pies were delicious, especially the special Christmas turkey, ham, brie and cranberry pies - just gorgeous!! My husband loves them too, so that's a double win. We've got our eyes on the new steak and kidney pies now, so another order is coming up. They're delivered on a day of your choosing, and perfectly packaged - ice packs keep them frozen in transit. Yummy!

After several orders I feel I can recommend this company. I have tried both sweet and savoury and am very happy with all items I’ve received. Great value for money. Got another bundle being delivered tomorrow and am confident it won’t be the last.
