Best burn has always put the customer…
Best burn has always put the customer first. They always call to make sure the instructions are followed. They deliver product almost immediately (never more than 2 days after ordering). And they deliver wood that has been split! This last time they delivered some really beautiful cherrywood, it’s just too bad I’m gonna burn it all.

I’ve been a repeat customer for years and never been disappointed. Great communication with quick delivery. I bought mixed hardwood for outdoor bonfires, which is definitely dry with less smoke when burning

Great Hickory wood for my smoker
I was able to choose what type of wood I wanted directly on the website. They contacted me within 20 mins of purchasing online to setup delivery date and instructions on where to drop the wood. They also contacted me the day of delivery reminding of the delivery. Everything was positive, only thing I would recommend is possibly setup a way you can get half and half of 2 types of wood. Since I use mine for my smoker that would be one way I would improve what they do.

Delivered on a pallet, Great idea!
Wood delivered quickly with no issues. I liked that it was delivered on a pallet rather than just being dumped on the ground. I'm an old guy so it was much easier for me to unpack and move the wood where I wanted it rather than bending over a hundred times.

Several large pieces i cannot spit
Several large pieces i cannot spit. Whole wheelbarrow of bark and random bits. Several peices with rot or dry rot.

Hi Andrew, appreciate you reaching out and leaving feedback -- we take it seriously whether it's good or bad! On the piece size, that one is tough for us to address without us being told your preference up front. We process wood at a size that works across the board since every customer is different. Some want big pieces for long burns, others want smaller splits, some want a mix of both. So there's no way for us to know ahead of time. Happy to talk through it though. The bark situation with your hickory is actually a species thing, shagbark hickory is the most common in Wisconsin. After kiln drying, that bark comes loose pretty easily and there will be pieces and bits throughout. Completely normal for that species, not a sign of a bad order. The rot concern is something we'd like to see before saying much about it. Sometimes logs come in with natural discoloration from tree disease which is very common right now, doesn't affect how it burns, but we'd want to look at what you're seeing. Great Service
This wood is awesome. Dry and easy to light, but burns long. Delivery was quick and smooth and they even adjusted my day due to rain. I recommend to all of my friends and family.
