BIG TEX for the WIN!! BEST Boat Charter company in Austin,Tx!
Whether you’re a local like me or just visiting and you’re looking for a boat rental company that’s truly ahead of the game, Big Tex Boat Rentals is it!! Their fleet is basically a one-stop shop, with options for every type of lake day from relaxing cruises to full on party boats. The booking process is incredibly easy through FareHarbor, and the waiver system takes just minutes to complete. One of the coolest features is their FotoFlow app. Your captain takes photos throughout the trip, and they’re automatically shared with everyone in your group while you’re still on the water. It adds a fun, interactive touch and helps capture memories without anyone having to worry about taking pictures themselves. What really sets Big Tex apart, though, is their captains. Every captain I’ve had has been professional, personable, and genuinely focused on making sure everyone has a great time. They know how to create a fun atmosphere while still making safety a priority. Tipping was an easy decision because of how hard they work and how much effort they put into the experience. From the easy booking process to the top-notch boats, great sound systems, and outstanding captains, Big Tex makes you feel completely taken care of from start to finish. It honestly felt like spending the day with friends who know exactly how to show you a great time on the water. Highly recommend.

Rented a boat from Big Tex Boat Rentals recently and had a great experience. The whole process was straightforward, from booking to getting out on the water. The boat was clean, ran well, and was ready when we arrived. The staff was friendly, answered all of our questions, and made sure we felt comfortable before heading out. We spent the day on the lake without any issues and had a blast. I’d definitely rent from them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for an easy, hassle-free boat rental experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for BigTex
BigTex Boat Rentals isn’t just renting you a boat—they’re serving up the ultimate Austin lake experience. Their fleet is next-level: pontoons, double-deckers with slides, party barges, wake boats—you name it, they’ve got it spotless, stocked, and ready to roll. The captains? Absolute legends. Professional, safety-minded, but also total vibe-makers who know exactly how to keep the party flowing (and stress way down). Whether you’re celebrating big with a bachelor crew or just cruising for chill sunset views, they read the room and make it happen. Booking is crazy easy, pricing is fair, and everything you need is included—fuel, gear, lily pads, booming Bluetooth speakers, coolers—you just show up with your crew and let BigTex do the rest. There’s a reason they’re the most talked-about boat rental company in Austin: they deliver unforgettable lake days, every single time. BigTex is the gold standard—good vibes, Texas-sized fun, and memories that last way longer than your tan.
Professional, Safe, Fun!
The captain was very personable, professional, and valued our safety as much as having a good time.
Big Tex Boat Rentals gave us the…
Big Tex Boat Rentals gave us the highlight of our trip to Austin. From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and an absolute blast. Our captain was not only skilled and safety-focused, but also super friendly and made everyone feel right at home. He knew all the best coves, swimming spots, and ways to make the day unforgettable. The boats were clean, spacious, and well-kept — exactly what you want when you’re out on the water. Whether we were cruising, swimming, or just relaxing on the lake, the vibes were perfect the entire time. The sound system was great, the energy was fun, and we never felt rushed or limited — it honestly felt like hanging out with a friend who happens to know Lake Austin better than anyone. We loved that they were flexible and easy to communicate with, too. Booking was simple, check-in was quick, and extending our time on the water was no problem at all. Our group couldn’t stop talking about how this was hands down the best part of our weekend — we’re already planning to book again next summer. If you’re looking for a top-notch lake day with amazing service, a great atmosphere, and a captain who truly cares about making sure you have the best time possible, Big Tex Boat Rentals is the one to go with.
