Do not trust this company
Do not place your order and definitely do not give your personal information/credit card info to this company’ Last year (July 2025) I was shopping for very specific looks for an upcoming trip and landed on Boerwo (their clothes were on Pinterest). The pieces were a little pricey but exactly what I was looking for. I tried to do some digging before committing to my order to see where this company was located, etc for legitimacy sake — but didn’t find much. I neglected to follow through with my suspicions and placed my order hoping “everything would be ok”. I immediately got a gut feeling that I in fact needed to do some more digging to see who I just paid a few hundred $ to. After some searches gave me zero security, I immediately emailed them asking some clarifying questions and to cancel the order. No response. I emailed a second time, and finally after a few days since my order they responded. The respondent’s response mail was named “IncolluShafaqat” — replied to me at 2:04am my time so clearly not in the US. He answered none of my questions/concerns and only asked for my order info and they’d handle the cancellation. After a few back and forth emails the order was cancelled and the refund was made in full. I was so grateful and this is the reason I’m ok with giving this company 1 star lol (obviously it’s the only lowest option 😅). Now. Fast forward to April-May 2026. This past week or so, some really weird things have happened: 1) I’ve received just about 10 emails at this point with the subject “Thank you for your Boerwo Order!” Using the same order number that was the original order number from last year. My first and last order I ever made with Boerwo. These emails are 100% scams as they’re all coming from a different random email. But they include the same clothes I tried buying last year. I didn’t click into anything else and reported the emails as spam + blocked them. It’s all very bizarre. Did this company sell my information? Or are they a complete scam as well and this is what they do? 2) In the midst of these emails, just this last weekend, My credit card (that I keep a close eye on, thankfully) had a fraudulent charge and they swept all of my cash back. This is the same credit card that I used with Boerwo last year. It’s definitely on me for placing the order with them in the first place. And it’s also on me — more of a “lesson learned” — where I should’ve requested for a new credit card last year when I suspected a suspicious company had my CC info. Am I grateful they refunded my money last year? Absolutely. As I know some people don’t get that lucky. But now it seems my personal information has been compromised and that’s such a yucky, uncomfortable feeling. Lots of Phone calls I need to make today but writing this was on the to do list so I can make any smart buyer who checks Trust Pilot aware of these issues before anything happens to them! I hope it doesn’t 🙏
