Weird ticketing policies

The performance itself was wonderful. Unfortunately, the way the ticketing was handled left a bad taste in my mouth. When I booked, I paid for AA tickets, which were advertised as the top seating category. However, when I arrived, there was no AA section anymore. Customer service explained that the ticket categories had been renamed: AA became A, and A became B. The problem is that those of us who bought AA tickets early still had AA printed on our tickets. If I had bought the cheaper A tickets instead, I would have ended up in exactly the same seats. Changing the ticket categories after tickets have already been sold seems like a very strange way to treat customers. My takeaway is this: if you're booking early, don't buy the top-tier seats; buy the category below instead. Or perhaps don't book early at all. Or maybe just avoid paying for the "premier" seats, because there's apparently no guarantee they'll still exist by the time the event takes place.

A Classical Twist on 90's Hip-Hop

So, let me say 1st off, I love the arts and this was a treat; especially for the genre of music (90's Hip-Hop). From Missy Elliott to the Wu-Tang Clan and Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre, the quartet was flawlessly elegant! My wife was wowed during the whole program. Folks in the audience were humming along with wide-faced smiles as they reminisce on Hip-Hop's Golden Era. The Great Aunt Stella Center of Charlotte, North Carolina was the perfect setting for this event and as the name implies, the candlelights set the perfect ambiance for all those in attendance! Recommended highly for those familiar with 90's era Hip-Hop and a love for classical instruments!

I saw the Instagram video promoting the Candlelight Concert in Puerto de Santa María. We were excited. We booked the best tickets. We also booked a hotel in Puerto de Santa María. The concert took place in an impressive castle. Full of anticipation, we were looking forward to a classical orchestra with strings and a grand piano. The moment had arrived. It was really about to happen: a classical orchestra playing Coldplay and Imagine Dragons. The disappointment was even greater than our expectations. The only thing that made an impression was the location. There was no classical orchestra. There was only one pianist, whose level did not rise above that of an average “hotel lobby” pianist. So, in the spirit of expectation management: save your money!!! We were deeply disappointed. The only thing that made up for it was that we were able to enjoy three days together in a beautiful hotel. That Candlelight Concert is something we want to forget as quickly as possible.

Last night’s Candlelight concert at the National Nordic Museum in Ballard was nothing short of magical. The intimate art center setting was absolutely perfect for a performance of this scale. With its high ceilings, the hall allowed the music to bounce beautifully, creating a rich, resonant acoustic experience that completely enveloped the room. The talent of the string quartet was superb. What struck me most was how incredibly expressive their playing was—at times, it didn't even sound like they were just playing a melody; it felt as though the violins were literally singing the lyrics to us. The musicians seamlessly took turns carrying the tune, passing it between their strings with flawless rhythm and precise technique. I never could have imagined that songs originally written for massive rock bands like Coldplay and Imagine Dragons could translate so powerfully to a combination of violins. The people who arranged these pieces possesses a profound understanding of the instrument. They didn't just copy the notes; they entirely reshaped the music to highlight the unique, versatile features of the violin. The energy in the room was electric, transporting the audience to an entirely different world. The emotional range of the performance was stunning. In a single evening, the music transitioned seamlessly through a spectrum of intense feelings: From Joyful, soaring melodies full of pure happiness to whimsical and lighthearted moments that made you smile. Then the room was filled with charged, powerful movements heavy with anger, suspense, and raw excitement. Words truly cannot do justice to how deeply moving and emotionally touching this concert was. If you ever have the chance to see this tribute at the museum, do not hesitate. It is a breathtaking experience from the first note to the last.

Don't buy the photo

Music was excellent. The conductor spoke way too much. Photo person was slow and didn't know what she was doing. The photo experience was terrible and not worth the money. I wanted a refund, but no one could help. You're selfies will be better!

Rockin' the Strings

The attendees were excited and knowledgeable of the music to be played. The musicians were friendly and talented. And, the show was entertaining and beautiful to listen too. I really enjoyed the show. See you in September.

Beyond Expectations Unique Experience

From being welcomed and assisted at the door, walking into an amazingly decorated room and being seated we were impressed. Then the music started and everyone was mesmerized. The musicians and their arrangements were magical, and the setting absolutely perfect. Plenty of smiling staff, bars, space between seats, and attention to detail even being thanked and spoken to upon exiting. We felt so welcome, appreciated and wish I could hear the music again today. Definitely will return and definitely recommend for groups.

I join a candlelight concert in Parma, italy, last winter. What a shame! Beautiful location and perfect musicians, but wu were crammed like animals. Cold, and over seated B you can not see any candel or musicians. Also The chied in candlelight Pietro told me i was too "pretencious"to want to see the show for what I paid. you. Do you train your staff like this? worst experience ever in a vacation
