Password Reset doesn’t work automatically. I needed to use twice your good support. It was annoying as I had to contact my platform owner to understand where to get help. Also I lost unnecessary time. But your support was quick and helpful!
Exceptional customer service with a technical issue.
If you want a masterclass in how to make a simple account cancellation feel like a hostage negotiation, look no further than Circle's support team. Our CMO created this community on behalf of the company. She is currently on maternity leave, legally protected leave, during which she has zero obligation to check a work inbox, let alone jump through Circle's hoops. So our CEO, the actual legal representative of the company, stepped in. She explained the situation. She sent Circle's support team a legal government document proving she has full authority to act for the company that owns this account. Circle's answer, days later, after making us wait through multiple "just checking in!" emails: not good enough. They want the one specific personal inbox of someone on maternity leave to personally confirm it. Their brilliant suggestion? "Just CC her." As if a company's legal right to cancel a subscription should hinge on interrupting someone's protected leave because a support agent can't be bothered to accept a notarized company document as proof. This isn't "security," it's a stalling tactic dressed up as one. There is no escalation path, no supervisor offered, no policy exception process, just the same canned line copy-pasted over and over while the days rack up. If Circle can't explain what a company is supposed to do when its account creator is unreachable, on leave, sick, or gone, then their cancellation "process" isn't a security measure, it's a trap designed to make you give up. Do not sign a company up for this platform unless you enjoy being held hostage by your own subscription.
Trialing Circle as an option for a presentation I have coming up. And the trial was only 2 weeks, and my meeting is the week after the trial was over. I reached out, not really expecting help or an automated answer. And they replied back within the same day and extended my trial. I was super impressed and excited.
Helpful, polite.
Feels like half baked AI slop I was asked to moderate and help with an artist community and after 6 months the recommendation is clear - do not renew. A user cannot self service delete their account, only deactivate it which sends it to avoid where neither the user or admins can see it. If my user has a moderator role why does the artist need to assign me a moderator role to hide me in a live session? That should be opt-out, not opt-in. Users with cupon codes for paywalls loose the value if they change paywalls outside of billing cycles. Users retain access for seemingly arbitraty lengths when paywalls are past due. The lowest business tier is just a gateway drug where you constantly are met with "this feature is available on the enterprise tier" and thats just not financially viable for a smaller community. AI agent for support is absolutely useless and members are outraged seeing circle working on AI features in the community rather than making the user experience better. Users don't want a community where they are served AI slop by an artist who doesnt care.
Someone used my email to sign up, and I contacted the support team, who helped me close my Circle account. Thanks to the support team.
Recently, I had to interact with two online subscription providers for annual software renewal. Circle stood heads and shoulders above the other. First, it provided a way to set up an online bank payment in addition to the debit card payment that did not work because the payment exceeded daily security limits. Second, it had a clear way for me to respond to the email alerting me of unsuccessful payment. Third, it gave a clear and complete response to my email response. The other company? AI agent; chat that states that my request to pay them was not included in our support agreement; and a delayed response to emails that was partial and unhelpful. This is a specific customer service comparison. I would add that the Circle AI supprot for users is great, and the look and feel quite good for the community tool. Thanks Circle!
Great customer service. Love this platform.
It was nice to hear about the successes of others as it give me energy to keep going. I am excited about the new course and know that I will learn some new ideas to try.
We are using Circle from Japan. JPY is not available for payment and Japanese is not on the language selections. I hope it will be available in the future!
The customer service was exceptional although if it were easier to delete accounts or communities then I wouldn’t have needed customer support. I don’t think admins should have the option to allow/not allow members to leave communities. A member should always have the opportunity leave if they wish. Overall my experience of circle is very good, the problems I’ve had are down to the community admins lack of knowledge.
The support team is really supportive, I don't remember a time where I asked for help and they didn't respond. They're also patient. Really impressed by the support.
Excellent support team! Every time I've needed help, the Circle support team has been incredibly responsive, friendly, and quick to resolve any issues. Easily one of the best customer support experiences I've had. Highly recommend!
I have been supported on technical issues with care and patience. I appreciate the human touch they have throughout the customer service.
Quick response, made sure everything was answered and understood.
Loved Circle in the early days. We were an early adopter. Since then, it's become more commercial, more complicated and shiny new things are prioritised over basic functionality. For example, even though we're on the business plan ($199/month), we can't bulk delete members from a space group without upgrading to the Plus plan ($649/month). So each year we're going to have to go through and manually delete hundreds of members. It's basic functionality that you would expect a newly developed app in its beta phase to have. It's a shame - I've asked support to help us out but they say they can't, and there's no complaints email address, so the only recourse I have is this negative review which I'd be happy to revise if they can fix the issue.
