What people say

They sold my email addresses and wallet…

They sold my email addresses and wallet details to probably everywhere, because that’s probably the only way these broke suckers make money. Since I connected my wallet to coinmarketcap I get so many spam emails targeting only the email address I use for crypto. Good job coinmarketcap!! Least least least trustworthy!!! Do not ever use unless you want to get spam and scam emails for the rest of your life!

The website is partly owned by the top…

The website is partly owned by the top 1%, whom of which foster a closed-community. Regular people, like retail, which everyone is a regular person to begin with; can't even share opinions. 95% of people get banned from the website, and it's mostly bots anyway. Total scam, sad that it should just be called CoinCasinoShill.com

I like it, but community can be sometimes mean

Very popular crypto tracking platform. I like to use it, but has issues on community moderation of Pepe ETH community. I have created one simple post about unnamed cryptocurrency and got spam reported and banned. This ban was resolved as false ban and I got unbanned. I still love using this, but this must be somehow fixed if you want people to use your community, like reports following same exact pattern or detecting how long has the user took to read it to avoid bot spam reports.

A major data aggregator with scammy service.

CMC is a major data aggregator but their customer service is absolutely abominable. Their paid service for fast track listing should definitely be banned in the Western countries. You can submit an application for free listing but you will get no response for months. If you agree to pay CMC, you will get a response in 11 minutes! If you pay the fee they will ignore you and if you still don't get listed for weeks despite meeting all the requirements there is nothing you can do about it because CMC openly threatens customers with blacklisting in case the victim dares to talk about their issues publicly. They claim it is the world's most trusted source of crypto data. Well it is absolutely not true especially because most people can't even talk about the reality. 1 star is a generous rating for CMC.

Linda and Jonson big scammer

I invest whit the manager Jonson and Linda from San Francisco 2 big scammers that take fake fee and keep promis to pay you monny out Linda was fired before but are now back she wil make a lot agreement same Jonson but they never keep it kids keep do mistakes that cost me more then 3000$ so be carful off this 2 scammer

The site itself seems legit but populated with scammers

The site itself seems legit as it is an information site. I think I figured out the scheme, scammers use your email and phone number to open an account under your name and use the "Transaction" app (which I don't know the use as there is no crypto to buy or sell on this site, probably just like a budget tool to follow-up your investment on other platforms) to add whatever amount value of a coin (bitcoin seems to be the best known by everyone) to tell you that there is an amount that you can either invest or withdraw. Then they ask you to install anydesk and confirm the transfer of ownership of the account to you. Then if you chose to withdraw they will ask you to go to your bank app but you are still screen sharing with that person over the phone. This way they can capture your bank account login info steal from you from that point on. The platform seems to have a good reputation which help them to be more efficient as when you search it appears to be a legit site. I think the site should rethink some functionality like this transfer /deposit / withdraw section that really looks like you can have some sort of currency on it but thats not the case at all. Of course the part where scammers will use the platform to try to fool you is quite hard to manage but if that functionality is no longer there, then they would have nothing to show their victims and therefore would be harder for them to fool real users of that platform. With all that said, when someone unknown calls you and ask you to install remote control / screen sharing app like anydesk on your device, it should raise a fluorescent red flag right there. If, on top of it, they are really insistant with it, it is definitely a scam. The jerk that called me today even pushed it to threatening me of bringing me to court because I refused to go further login my bank account with him looking at anydesk. I replied that the call was recorded and that he was threatening me so serve me the papers looser! Be careful out there, the world is a wild place! Peace

got a call that i have 0,3 bitcoin in…

got a call that i have 0,3 bitcoin in their site they know me email even when i didnt registered in their site and wanted me to download anydesk to unlock the account that they need confirmation that i am the real user of the account . SCAMERS

SCAM - Do not share any details on phonecalls mentioning this

SCAM! Even "security" calls mentioning it are scams. If someone calls you saying they are verifying as your information has been leaked and used to register to the account, their are the scammers. They will ask you to try to login, and give them the code (when you can see it is not a legit "Password Reset" email -> Don't fall for it, don't give them any information!

No response to fraud and spam

The scheme is standard, a few spammers start making noise around a low-capitalization token, they start buying it, increasing the price by 300-700% in a few minutes, their spam is massive and can be found practically everywhere, when someone is fooled by an artificially induced increase and the fraudsters decide that they have already earned enough, they make a dump,on the coinmarketcap website this scheme has been practiced for a long time, when I reported spammers my account was suspended,it looks as if the website was somehow cooperating with fraudsters.
