Despite having to cancel my planned trip to ChangMai at the last minute for personal reasons coliving refunded me a lot of my down payment, even though they didn't have to. Very impressive! Hopefully I'll be able to use coliving again in the future.

Booking with them feels safe because coliving.com keeps the money until after the arrival. The place I booked had some problems with their system and someone from coliving.com prontly assisted me with this issue.

I am a seasoned traveler who has lived in over 40 Airbnbs, colivings, and rental places, and this was by far the worst experience of my life. The host was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Not only did they demand the first and last month’s rent upfront, but they also insisted on an additional security deposit that wasn’t mentioned in the booking terms. When I contacted Coliving customer support, they admitted it was an error on their website but still told me I had to pay the deposit—an unexpected financial shock. I requested written confirmation from the host for the refund of this extra deposit, but he refused and instead pressured me for more money, even threatening to throw away my belongings. I immediately reached out to Coliving's support team, expecting them to help, but they offered no assistance whatsoever. Their lack of support left me completely alone to deal with the situation. The only way I managed to protect myself from further harassment was by warning the host I would call the police if he continued his behavior. It’s appalling that Coliving would allow such hosts on their platform and fail to support guests in dire situations. As someone who has always been a respectful and well-regarded guest, I am shocked and disappointed by this experience. I strongly advise everyone to avoid booking with Coliving. Their poor customer service and lack of accountability make it impossible to trust their platform or hosts.

I would book directly if possible. I was charged $120.00 more than the actual price. I don’t mind paying for the service and convenience I received but that is a whopping 35% premium to book via coliving.com The worst part was that the communication via coliving.com caused an unnecessary delay in communication with the space that I couldn’t move in in-time. They also asked for the double the amount of security deposit than what was actually required to. Uneasy with the over charged. Wish I did better due diligence and book directly.

Worth the value it offers for one of the Bali locations. I haven’t tried other locations yet, but so far some seem to be very expensive. I would say if the price is right perfect option for long stays.

We had an issue getting our deposit back from our host who refused to pay us back for over 6 months. I decided to involve coliving and Joyce could not have been more helpful and attentive in dealing with this. She always replied quickly, applied a lot of pressure on the host, and got them to pay us back. I think the customer service is exceptional and I will definitely use Coliving again.
