We really appreciate every minute the customer support team (Joyce and Jessica) dedicated to us, Cohausing Cabanyal coliving in Valencia.
As a fresh starters in the coliving business, we tried different commercial platforms, including some of the very well-know ones. After a few months, and as our offer was rather little (only 12 rooms), we analized the situation and decide to do a stronger partnership with only one: coliving.com
Decision weight was 75% just because of the customer support. The ladies were always there, by little incidents, big challenges and even sharing some best practices and recommendations. We even had a 30 minutes call every 6 months to review our performance and get some tips on how to increase the visibility of our business.
Joyce and Jessica's support was extraodinary, they worked fast, consistently, with diligence, with a great support-oriented attitude, friendlines and kindness. I want also the thank and aknowlege them for their patience and commitment, they focused always on offering me a great experience with coliving.com along my entire 3 years of journey using the platform.
It has been a tremendous been pleasure to sail the waves together with you in the same boat for the last years. Hopefully this is a "see you later" rather than a "goodbye". Good platform, but they don't publish/show bad reviews, which is truly disappointing. I can't find my bad reviews, other users report same behavior. Also, after 3 years using the platform, I never read any bad review.

I do not recommend the service provided by coliving.com. Although the platform has a presence online and some positive reviews, many users report serious issues that make it difficult to trust.
The site feels obscure and confusing. The information presented isn’t always clear, and users frequently struggle to find accurate pricing, availability, and data about the actual properties. Listings sometimes show availability that doesn’t exist, and descriptions can be misleading, making it hard to decide what you’re really booking.
Moreover, the pricing structure on the platform appears to intentionally confuse users. Some reviews mention that prices end up being far higher than booking directly with the hosts, that refund policies are unclear or difficult to navigate, and that commissions significantly reduce the value compared with alternatives.

Only persistence leads to a full refund.
Coliving.com claims to offer a 100% refund excluding commission.
However, I never expected the "commission" to swallow 96% of the booking cost. My experience suggests a deliberate, multi-stage friction strategy designed to discourage customers from pursuing their money:
Step 1: An initial refund of a negligible amount.
Step 2: An offer of a "goodwill" voucher, lock-in for their services only.
Step 3: Agreement to a partial cash refund minus vague "operational costs."
Step 4: A full refund, but only after exhaustive and grueling correspondence.

The platform and service is good but the value for money is really poor.
You provide a good service but the value for money is really poor considering your margins, I would have paid much less (around 50% of what I paid) if I had gone directly to the local real estate company. I would not use this website again, unless there was ABSOLUTELY no other alternative.
Unless you are in an emergency, like I was, you may save a lot of money if you spend some time and go directly to the local websites. Do not be afraid just because they are in a local language, in my case it was Japanese. I should have asked a Japanese friend and I would have saved a lot of money.
If for whatever reason you need to use coliving, just go for 1 month accommodation and once you are in the place, contact the local company for further months.

Book Directly With Host If Possible - Avoid Using Coliving.com
I would avoid booking via coliving.com if you can book directly with the host. Part of coliving.com's policy is a 24-hour grace period from when you move into your accommodation, so you can hold payment to the host in case of any issues.
I had issues on moving in, my initial report was submitted within the 24-hour window defined in their policy, yet I received an email hours later from coliving.com stating payment had already been captured automatically which was in full breach of their own policy. Furthermore, I was asked to deal directly with the host which put the entire resolution burden on me. The policy exists for cases like mine. On pressing for a more acceptable response from them, when they finally got back to me over 24 hours later (the excuse was it was the weekend and they were short-staffed), I didn't get any apology, nor any admission or acknowledgement of breach. Meanwhile, I spent the entire day on Sunday playing a game of ping-pong with the host who was also left completely in the dark as to how best proceed.
Myself and the host both finally received responses. Long story short, I was granted a full refund but I suspect it was only as a result of my initial review on here - once the matter was closed, I received emails from a coliving.com rep asking me to delete or amend what I’d written on here, followed by two more emails on the next two days consecutively, repeating the same request. I found that persistence inappropriate and unnecessary.
I’m updating this to reflect that the problem was resolved, but my rating is based on the complete experience: the initial difficulty, the feeling that I only received quick support after going public, and the repeated requests to alter my review. Whilst I understand businesses wanting to protect their reputation, this approach felt incredibly intrusive and added to the strain rather than repairing it.
