okay so I'll be honest, I was nervous. Lighting is one of those things where the photos online can make anything look good and then it shows up and its just... not that. Also I had never heard of Outlight before our designer mentioned them, which made me do about four hours of research during bedtime. But just over a month in and I feel good about this. Everything on their site looks like someone actually thought about it before listing it. Nothing feels random or thrown together. For someone who checks reviews obsessively before buying anything, that coherence really did calm me down. Would definitely recommend to other parents or anyone who gets a little anxious about spending real money on something they cant touch first.
Okay so I found Outlight through an interior design account I follow and just... sat on their page for a while. Like a long while. Something about the way they photograph their pieces, the light always falls soft and directional, not that harsh blown-out look you see everywhere. I kept saving posts and telling myself I'd order eventually. Just over a month ago I finally did. The ordering process was clean and didn't try to upsell me six times, which I appreciated. Checkout was straightforward, confirmation came quick. Honestly I was skeptical at first but the brand feels considered in a way that's kind of rare. Nothing flashy about it, which is the whole point I guess. My one gripe is the website could do a better job explaining lead times upfront, I had to dig around a bit before I felt clear on when to expect things. Not a dealbreaker but worth knowing going in. Overall the experience matched what the aesthetic promised, which doesnt always happen. Cautiously a fan. 🙂

Lights were amazing. Only thing was I paid for one day shipping and they did! But I was never notified they shipped and I tried calling them the next day multiple times and never answered and finally they called Back to let me know they had shipped, that part could be improved notified the customer with tracking.
