My wife and I like it. We had an issue with the QR code but the company fixed it fairly quickly.
Worth it!
Sometimes the codes are very challenging. Over all though it's incredible game play. Very fun stories. We just did creatures of the night such a good story. We will continue to buy more.

We have done over 80 mystery games from several of the vendors. The Deadbolt Mystery Society series has been very well received and is of a very high quality. The one primary criticism is that there is a reliance on QR codes. Given the potential risk of QR codes, I would recommend that they provide a web address in addition to the QR code. I found that I would use my camera and click on the QR code but then type in the hptts... Other than this, a great game series.
Love Deadbolt Mystery!
Some boxes are harder to complete than others, but they’ve nearly all been extremely fun, challenging and worth the time and money. They’ve made great gifts as well.
Shipping Woes Resolved!
Shipping got messed up by USPS and Deadbolt quickly helped resolve. Got the game, and it was one of the best we've played. TY!!
A Very Satisfying First Experience
Very impressed with the ease of contacting the Caretaker and the immediate response. Annoying to be left hanging when you reach a snag or have a question. Finished my first box. A couple of the challenges weren't as intuitive as most of them. And the ones to identify sounds wasn't long enough to identify all the sounds. But all in all a very satisfying first experience.

Got it for my son and his family. The four of them look forward to their monthly box. Kids are 12 & 13 and they said it’s challenging but not frustrating. They make a night of it and love it!
