Ordered a joe browns top on the 13 October no acknowledgement numerous emails from me help
This person (not a customer) has submitted a review mistakenly to our company. We do not offer or sell "Joe Browns" tops. Part of the issue with Trust Pilot is anyone has the ability to write a review on any company even if they are not a customer. This review should not be reflective against our reputation.
Happy to have found them. Needed a dress for a wedding, the bride gave instructions but I couldn't find anything locally and a lot of the online choices ship from China and waiting so long would just add to my anxiety. I found the website from a google search found a beautiful reasonably priced dress. I used the measurement chart and ordered my dress. It arrived so quickly, looked just like the photo and fit!!! The quality was spot on for the price and that makes this place I the one I will recommend to all my girls that need an occasion dress, something fabulous at any price!
Thank you, Tara, for taking the time to write a wonderful review on your experience with our company. We are so glad you found us online and that we delivered a dress that satisfied your needs. Located in California, it definitely gives our customers a peace of mind their order is coming from a reputable company. Thank you again for giving us a chance!
Sizes aren't true to size! I bought a dress and got an extra large ( I normally wear a large)... just in case... and it is still WAY TOO SMALL! In addition they have a NO refund , return, or exchange policy! Won't even exchange for different size.
Kelli, thank you for taking a moment to share your experience! It's true, formal gowns are not "true to size". That is why it's very important to look at the size chart and select a size based on your waist measurement when ordering a size. We are happy to help provide a size recommendation and are always here to help our customers before they make a purchase.
I bought a dress from this company for an event. The dress was not stocked, so it was going to take awhile to ship. This company worked with me all day, sending me additional options via email and text. The communication was excellent and I ended up finding a dress that I love. Thanks to Jeremy and this company I will be able to have a dress for my event. I highly recommend this company!! Their service is excellent. Better service than I have experienced elsewhere.
Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience! I was so glad to be able to help you and provide the customer service that is lacking these days! Thank you again for the feedback!
Great customer service and the dress is absolutely perfect!

Love this dress!!!
Hi Beverly, thank you for taking time to write a review on the navy blue dress 5259 by Hosanna Design. It is always wonderful to hear when our customers love their dresses! #5259, https://www.discountdressshop.com/products/hosanna-5259-plus-size-3-piece-set-navy-blue-ankle-length-dress
the dress is great, my only concern is that it is the dress runs is a little small but i should be able to get it altered, but be sure to size up to be safe. secondly, the zipper is plastic, so it could easily pop. and lastly, i’ve tried the dress on about twice and made sure to be gentle, but i notice there that the sparkles fall off easily when when i try it on. but besides that it is seems great and is even more gorgeous in person.
Thank you Arwen for taking some time to write your experience with dress CD904 by Cinderella Divine. I recommend to all my customers that when choosing a size, to look at the size chart located near the description of each dress and base your decision by your waist measurement. This is important because if you cannot zip the dress past your waist, then you won't be able to zip the top up. Each dress has a specific sizing chart. Therefore it's important to look at the sizing chart for each dress. CD904, https://www.discountdressshop.com/products/long-fitted-sequin-print-gown-opal-iridescent-pattern-sheer-illusion-sides
The dress is beautiful and affordable! I am very happy with my purchase.
Hi Chrissy, thank you for taking time to write a review on the fuchsia dress 8307 by Nox Anabel. It always makes me happy to hear when customer's express their satisfaction with their purchase. #8307, https://www.discountdressshop.com/products/nox-anabel-8307-long-fuchsia-mermaid-gown-satin-beaded-bodice-sleeveless
The quality of the dresses are great. The reason I'm giving them a bad rating is because of their "Return Policy". No refunds unless defective or wrong order. They only give store credit. Yes, I should have read their policies first, but in this day and age nobody should be stuck with items they decided they do not want. I can understand a restocking fee, but not store credit only. I will tell everyone that I know not to order from this company. I am furious.
Hi Wendy, I'm very sorry that you are not pleased with our return policy, even though you shared you did not read it beforehand. It is listed on our website and is very clear so there is no misunderstanding for those that order from us. This is actually a very common return policy for formal dress businesses even big companies such as David's Bridal. We have had many happy customers who have ordered from us over the last 12 years and have been very pleased by their purchase. I truly wish you were one of them!
Wonderful dress! Great, quick service. Shipping was easy and arrived quickly to Canada. Definitely recommend!
Thank you Tracey for taking the time to write a review on our service, shipping and experience with dress 25894 in navy blue by La Scala. They are a wonderful company that make beautiful dresses and that we are please to offer our customers! I am excited to get married and find the dress for me during the pandemic time. I love the one I purchased, but sadly it doesn't fit me well but this website can't allow people to return or refund. I bought this dress for more than $400, now I am disappointed. But I am grateful for one of their staff Jeremy who reply my email and give me tips on how to deal with the brand new dress I only just tried once. So be careful to make the purchase decision when you buy a wedding gown.
Hi Bacon Princess, I'm very sorry that the dress you ordered did not fit you well. Most gowns are returnable, however it does state in our return policy (link located at the bottom of our website) that wedding gowns are non-returnable. I am glad that I was able to provide you information on where you could resell the gown. I know some girl will love the beautiful dress you have!
Beautiful dress and size chart right on, but look at size chart for each dress because they are all different.
Hi Kelli, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review on the Aspeed M2194 navy blue dress you ordered from us. https://www.discountdressshop.com/products/scoop-neck-beaded-bodice-long-formal-dress-navy-blue Thank you for mentioning that size charts will vary from dress to dress. I recommend when choosing a size to base your decision by your waist measurement in inches. I'm very glad to hear that the dress fit you well!
Your company overcharge like 77.40 for overstock dollars for returing the dress because the size is to small. Not to mention 16.93 more for shipping. I might as well buy a new dress. Never buying from your company. Stocking fee 77.40 is a a scam. I said i would pay for the shipping. But almost 80 is not worth that dress
Hello Daysi, I'm very sorry to hear that the dress you ordered was too small. I recommend when choosing a size to base your decision by your waist measurement in inches. Each dress will have a specific size chart located near the description. Our return policy allows a 7 day return from the date the package is received. You inquired about returning the dress past our 7 day return window., which technically was not returnable. However, due to your situation, I made the exception to allow you return the item, which is the reason for the high restocking fee. Again, I'm very sorry it did not work out for you and wish you the best!
Received a dress with a big hole on its side 😞 Sadly the event was that same week and I had to pay extra to have it fixed
Hi Mayra, I'm very sorry to hear that the dress you received had a hole on its side. If there was time for you to have exchanged it, I would have been happy to have done that for you. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. Please reach out and I will be happy to email you a 30% off coupon for your next purchase.
The people at Discount Dress Shop were extremely helpful, especially with making sure I made my deadline of getting my special dress. Thank you again!
Hi Donna! We ship every Monday through Friday from California, so I'm glad to hear that we were able to get the dress to you in time for your event. I have purchased two dresses from this company. They have many plus size dresses. I do recommend that you read the sizing chart and measure yourself for a better fit. Both dresses that I purchased were true to color and description of the dress.
Hi Violet! Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review on the most recent dress 8485 by J&J Fashion which is made in the USA. https://www.discountdressshop.com/products/short-navy-blue-mother-of-bride-dress-chiffon-knee-length-lace-jacket It is very important to look at the size chart for each dress as they may differ. I'm very glad to hear that the dress and color fit as is described on our website! A pleasure doing business with you and I hope we can help you again in the future!
The dress quality was not worth the price. The rhinestone belt was falling off the dress. It was attached by glue and not stitched. Unfortunately not worth returning for store credit, they do not provide refunds.
Hello Pie, I'm very sorry that the dress you ordered from us was not what you expected. The dress you ordered is made in the United States (finally something local) by a reputable designer that we have been doing business for 12 years. I will definitely look into the dress you ordered and consider removing it from our website based upon your review.
The dress I ordered is beautiful! It had a stain but they made Everything right. I will be ordering again . Thank you
