REVIEW FOR EAST ORLANDO ANIMAL HOSPITAL Beware to consumers, or anyone taking their pet for veterinary care to this facility. Don't fall for the positive reviews. These people probably got suckered because this place is a absolute rip-off. Unless you like overspending, and unprofessional staff, then ignore this review. I've never seen or experienced a more greedy, uncompassionate and unprofessional business than East Orlando Animal Hospital. The second you walk in this place the register is already open and hands extending outward for payment. I took my feline to be examined for tumors on her underbelly. The cat is my 13 year olds who has had her for 10 years. We were there a total of 15 minutes. The so called vet doctor took a few looks and touches and told us your cat has mammary tumors, she probably has cancer and will probably die if not treated immediately. Not even two minutes later I get handed a bill for $4,900 if we agreed to remove the tumor. My daughter was devasted thinking her cat was going to die. As you can imagine, I was quite upset and turned off by the lack of compassion, professionalism and empathy by the doctor and staff. After the doctor told us the news, she turned away and walked out the door. No questions, no elaboration, nothing. Of course I did not use their services. Instead, I went to a different facility where they were the exact opposite of this overpriced, overrated facility. The new vet hospital actually diagnosed the cat, removed the tumors and charged me half what east orlando would have. The new vet hospital put these folks to shame. I'm warning you upfront in case you decide to go. Hold your wallet and brace yourself for greed and rudeness.
