I bought winbot window cleaner and broken after a month. But servicing was excellent from initial requeat to repair. Thanks, it would be 5 star if it was not broken

Do not buy Ecovacs

Do not buy this mower. It looks promising on paper, but in daily use it is unreliable and frustrating. Frequent errors, poor navigation, and disappointing performance make it a bad investment. I regret this purchase and would not recommend it. Customer support disappointing as well, no solution or alternative proposed…

Two faulty units in a row

First one did not empty the dirty water - the pump was broken, so it just leaked all over the floor. They replaced it with another new. The second one the dust extractor suction pump does not work so it does not empty the robot. So now, this one has to go in for repair. Just worthless.

We have 2 of these stupid things

We got 2 of these vacs on a pallet thru Macbid. They were damned near free. I still think they suck. I stopped using the mop feature last year because, frankly, it's disgustingly smelly no matter how well it's maintained. The mopping pads are garbage and, if you wash them, they turn into paper towels. Thin and useless. The robot can't find its charging station 25% of the time. The voice activation works 30% of the time, it runs out of battery before it's halfway done in a 1600SF house. Then, it'll keep charging, if it finds the station, charge a lottle, and keep trying to finish all day Even of the battery lasted, the robot is dumb AF, and gets stuck everywhere, doesn't learn, and is marring the feet of every piece of furniture I own. My dogs hate it. The bags aren't the only thing that has to be replaced. The mopping pads are garbage and don't last, the beater bar falls apart, the side brushes fall apart, and they're ridiculously expensive to replace. They barely last a month. Planned obsolescence. They'll be out of business at some point if they don't make major improvements.

The robot vacuum is not good

The product is not good. I have the x2 robot with camera and obstacle avoidance but litterly gets stuck every day. The mapping is also poor. I already received a replacement unit and same issues. I guess it a product issue.

Poor performance within five months and extremely frustrating after-sales support

I bought the Ecovacs Deebot T50 Pro Omni about four and a half months ago, expecting it to significantly reduce my dependence on household help. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience at all. First, the product does not really replace manual cleaning. It cannot move objects or clean properly around/under many things unless the area is cleared beforehand. This means I still have to move objects out of the cleaning area before every run and then put everything back afterward. So the actual effort required from the user is much higher than expected. Second, I bought this model mainly because it has both vacuuming and mopping features. However, only after purchase, when the engineer came for installation, I was told that the mopping function has had several complaints and that I should use it only with water, without the mopping liquid. Even with water, the mopping performance has been poor. It does not clean stains properly and leaves marks as they are. I then thought that even if the mopping is not satisfactory, at least the vacuuming/sweeping function should work well. But within less than five months, despite very light usage of about once or twice a week at most, even the vacuuming performance has deteriorated badly. The machine runs, but it does not pick up dust properly. In fact, it leaves dust behind and sometimes creates a trail of dust. The after-sales support has been even more disappointing. I reached out asking for an engineer visit, and I was willing to pay the applicable service charges. Instead of arranging a visit, they kept asking for pictures and videos one by one, as if customers are expected to troubleshoot the product themselves over chat. Customers are not product experts, and we do not have unlimited time and bandwidth to keep responding to repetitive requests while being stuck with a non-working product. Despite repeated requests, the issue has not been escalated properly, and the repair process has only been delayed further by asking for information in bits and pieces. For a product that is less than five months old, this is unacceptable. Overall, both the product performance and the after-sales service have been very disappointing. I would not recommend this product to anyone, especially given the price and the poor support experience after purchase.

Product performance below average

Product performance below average. I bought the Ecovacs Goat O500 and after several attempts setting up and drawing the lawn map and setting up boundaries, I realised that it keeps crossing the set boundaries and getting stuck, it looses track sometimes of the set programme and return to docking, sometimes it just spins in one location until I pause it. Customer support is good at responding quickly but the feedback on how to resolve issues is so bad and not relevant, it feels as responses are picked from pre-prepared answers that are not relevant to the issue, very frustrating and really regret my purchase.

I bought an Ecovacs robot lawn mower…

I bought an Ecovacs robot lawn mower from Obs. It worked for 5 minutes, and stopped working. I called the service line after failing to get it to work over the next 3 days. After a couple of things the service company asked me to try, I was told to return it. It’s now been repaired (one month after the purchase) and I now have a repaired lawn mower after paying full price for it, and using it for 5 minutes. I still do not know if it will work. Or if it will fail again after 5 minutes. All I know is that I have now paid full price for a new product, but ended up with a repaired product. I will not be going for an Ecovacs anything anytime soon!

I bought an Omni X1e a few years back…

I bought an Omni X1e a few years back and I can honestly say I’m the time I’ve spent trying to fix errors (like the cleaning sink being full because it doesn’t drain it properly, even after I’ve cleaned it) or it losing WiFi connection (making it impossible to do anything with and being a nightmare to set up), I can honestly say I might have just been better off cleaning the damn floors myself. Customer service are totally unhelpful, simply suggesting a reset. Half the time it doesn’t run because of some fault it’s dreamed up (even then it often declares the issue resolved before I’ve intervened and then it still waits for me to do something before it will continue). Really sad I wasted my money on this and will be looking to replace as soon as I can afford to with another brand. Save yourself the headache, clean the floors yourself or find something else to use than an ecovax robot.

Deceptive financial practices from Covas

The product works fine but Australian buyers beware that you will pay an international transaction fee if you buy direct from the company. They don’t disclose this but their payment gateway is in Singapore so even though we pay in Aust dollars an exchange occurs in Singapore resulting in our banks charging an international transaction fee. This is a deception from this company. Lesson - don’t buy direct from the company, don’t trust them

The language problem still hasn’t been resolved at all. Even if any issue arises, it is not being solved. The local agent is also not providing proper service.” The product is good, but proper information and service regarding it are not being provided.”

Product- Trusted and purchased

Product- Trusted and purchased, but the outcome of the product was not satisfying. Cleaning done was not complete, residual particles was left over. Customer relationship- Reported the problem, it was denied to resolve the issue. Dealer asking to upgrade the product at extra cost. By advertising the product reached the customer now the company is refusing to solve the issues faced by the customer due to their products.

Robot vacuum is not good

Right, after I bought my robot vacuum they email me asking for a review, but my review does not appear on their website, compare the reviews there with the reviews here and its pretty obvious there’s some dodgy business there, also any decent business would claim their Trustpilot profile in this day and age. TLDR: don’t buy ecovacs Not impressed with this robot at all and regret my purchase. I’ve had it for about 3 months and I’ve seen no improvement and no firmware updates either, so I don’t think this will improve. The hardware is solid and well-constructed, and the suction power is good. But real-world operation is very poor and the app is absolutely terrible. The biggest issue is behaviour during cleaning. Despite having cameras, LiDAR, AIVID, Yoko Ono or whatever, the robot constantly spends a large amount of time wandering around looking for the dock. This happens every time, and often it will just quit and shut down, sometimes right in front of the dock. Even when it finds the dock, it often struggles to get in, spending extra time going up and down the ramp until it finally slots in or quits. Then when you take it to another floor it will also wander around looking for the dock, which is obviously not there. So it’s often impossible to clean a different floor because the robot wastes its battery looking for a dock that is not there. Why it doesn’t just send a notification asking the user to take it to the dock, I don’t know, it makes zero sense Even mapping is not good. If you happen to have a box on the floor and map the room with the box in it, the robot will never go to that spot. Of course, the floor should be as clear as possible, but objects like chairs move around in the house, and the robot is not capable of updating the map as it goes in its day-to-day operation, so remapping the house properly is incredibly inconvenient. The map it produces will also be very simplified, in my case it decides diagonal walls are straight, so the map isn’t even very accurate. On top of that, the app is very poor. You have to Google almost every single setting because most of them do not make sense due to the app not being properly localised in English. My English isn’t perfect either, but this review was written with the help of AI. It’s an embarrassment in 2026 to have an app out there like this. My previous robot from SwitchBot, which cost about a third of this one and doesn’t have AIViDS and Yoko Onos, had none of the issues mentioned above, it was better in every single aspect apart from the actual suction — which is what led me to buy a new one. Unfortunately, I made the wrong choice by buying Ecovacs, should have checked Reddit and trustpilot.

Worst company

Worst company, worst product, worst service. I purchased TOmni 20 Robo @ 92,000 and faced multiple problems within a year and again upon their advice exchanged that one with TOmni 50 by paying rs. 30,000 and have been facing problems with new one too for 2 months. None attending service calls. Vexed with the company

Don't recommend!

Awful customer service and disappointing products. Kept sending my vacuum for repair and eventually they agreed to replace it... With a faulty vacuum. I've been without a working vacuum for a year and still awaiting a refund even though I paid for return shipping myself.

Terrible …..

Terrible ….. Having ordered a Winbot via Amazon, I thought it may be better to order a Deebot directly from Ecovacs. What a fool!!!! Two weeks later and I am still trying to sort out where the parcel actually is and why no communication re delivery was sent from either Ecovacs or DHL. Ecovacs keep suggesting that I sort this out with DHL, pretty hard without a tracking number .I’ve been told by Ecovacs that they can put me through to the Sales Team, to purchase another one, once they receive the first one back… wherever it is… so currently I’m £849 down, no machine, poor client service and looking at Eufy models!!!

⚠️ BUYER BEWARE- Ecovacs Robots

⚠️ BUYER BEWARE: My Ecovacs Mini Robot Broke Down Twice in 5 Months — Now They Want Me to PAY for a Leaking Tank I bought this robot vacuum to make my life easier. Instead, it has given me nothing but stress and downtime. Here’s what happened in just 7 short months: 🔴 2 months in: Maps gone. Robot won’t mop. Off to the service center it goes for nearly 3 weeks. 🔴 5 months in: Same map failure, AGAIN. And now the water tank is leaking from the seam edge. Second service center visit. 🔴 7 months in: Service center tells me the leaking tank is “wear and tear” and I have to pay for a replacement. Wear and tear. On a robot used by 2 people. That is 7 months old. That has already had its circuit board AND scanning plate replaced. What I witnessed at their Joo Seng service center said it all. While waiting, I observed multiple other customers lugging in larger Ecovacs machines for repair. I was not alone. This does not appear to be an isolated case -it looks like a brand-wide quality problem that Ecovacs has yet to address seriously. I’m sharing this so you don’t go through the same experience. There are other robot vacuum brands out there. Please do your research before choosing Ecovacs. Actually Tineco doesn’t even deserve a star for this review.

Faulty product, repair damage, and zero support: Avoid this company

I have owned the ECOVACS Deebot X8 Pro Omni for less than a year, and it has spent far more time at their repair centre than in my home. The machine was faulty out of the box and required multiple returns. To make matters worse, it was eventually returned to me still malfunctioning and heavily damaged by the Ecovacs service staff. They currently have the unit again, but they have completely stopped responding to my communications since I requested a full refund. Because of this complete lack of service, I have lodged a formal claim with the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT). My application seeks to recover: - A full refund for the machine. - Compensation for loss of use. - The cost of the QCAT application fee. - A refund for the extra accessories I purchased, which are now completely useless. Save yourself a massive headache and avoid this company entirely. You have been warned.

Simply DO NOT BUY anything from…

Simply DO NOT BUY anything from Ecovacs, even if their products are discounted by 90%. Honestly, I wouldn’t even waste $10 on them. The robot itself may look impressive at first, but once something goes wrong, you’ll quickly realise how terrible their customer service is. Support is extremely slow, unhelpful, and frustrating to deal with. You end up spending more time chasing answers and trying to fix issues than actually enjoying the product. For a premium-priced brand, the after-sales service is absolutely unacceptable. There are far better brands on the market that actually stand behind their products and value their customers. Ecovacs is simply not worth the stress, wasted time, or headache.
