Carrots had rotten spot, garlic had some rotten spots
Carrots were not hard, a bit soft and one had a rotten spot. Garlic also had bad spots when I peeled them. Not real happy with the freshness of the veggies.

Cooked the jack chicken burgers first and they were delicious! I never normally buy ground chicken and the way they have you season and cook everything so simply makes it one of my favorite meat types to cook now.

We had gotten to where we ate the same thing every week and even I was bored. Looking for recipes is fun, but then shopping, especially if for ingredients that you may only use once, was the part I did not like. Every Plate allows me to try new items, sends exactly what you need and there's no waste (BONUS) The steps actually help save time cooking because they have figured it out for you, and I have learned some simple tricks along the way.

I have had issues with delivery delays and missing ingredients. I've also heard of others that have not received the correct meal cards

High quality, Affordable, No Waste!
I love EveryPlate! Being a single person, the grocery shopping experience can be a bummer when there's not much available that isn't family sized. I end up with wasted food, especially fresh food if I don't use it right away. EveryPlate food quality, freshness, portion sizes and easy to follow recipes are fantastic and affordable for me. I don't have any wasted food. All ingredients for each recipe are measured to the proper size and I can cook a nice variety of meals with NO WASTE! It makes me a better cook. And it's delivered right to my door. Plus, I travel a lot, so the "Pause" feature is a life saver when I don't need food on specific weeks. My refrigerator stays clean. Hurray!

From placing my order to delivery, the process was seamless. The ingredients delivered were fresh & the recipes we've had so far have been delicious.
I do wish there were more non-chicken options included in the base price, but I'm at least grateful that the options span a variety of cuisines and are delicious.

The recipes are good but they do take more time than I like to spend in the kitchen. Maybe have some of the prep work already done, like cutting veggies or making the sauces.

We were shocked at a meal we bought that was just so bad we had the throw it out and eat TV dinners instead. It was the chicken fried rice main dish. It was bland and tasteless we just uneatable, directions were followed to the letter and we used all ingredients. We have been customer for awhile and have never had to actually throw something out. We just won’t order this item again hoping this isn’t going to be a recurring issue. Likely not!

Don't Trust the App
The meals didn't have much going for them, pretty bland, but I wanted to like them for the price. The issue is the app. I have a weekly alarm set and I do not turn off the alarm until I do my meal changes. I always double verify by closing and reopening the app as it often doesn't stick the first time. The final time I did this and it said it stuck after double verification but it apparently didn't and it charged me and I attempted to cancel it but was told I never made changes. I tried to explain my process and was essentially told I was lying and chastised for not making changes early enough in the process. I then tried to respond and they just cancelled the chat. This is absolutely unacceptable and pretty sketchy honestly because it's a clear issue with the app but they are blaming customers so they can make money instead of just fixing the app. I have never asked them for anything and plenty of times there were issues with the ingredients but I was a good customer and just went about my business. Pretty sad that they couldn't even fathom that the issue was with their technology rather than a loyal customer.
