I was initially very pleased with Eyeshells, but a recent customer-service experience completely changed my opinion of the company.
My first pair of glasses never arrived, and Eyeshells allowed me to order another pair. Later, I placed a separate order for another pair of glasses. When that pair did not fit properly, I contacted Eyeshells and asked if I could exchange them.
They refused the exchange, but what bothered me much more was being told that I was trying to manipulate the company and take advantage of them. I found that accusation unfair and insulting. I was simply a customer asking for help with a pair of glasses that did not fit correctly.
I understand that companies have return and exchange policies, and I can accept being told that an exchange falls outside a policy. What I do not accept is being accused of dishonesty for asking.
I had previously been a satisfied Eyeshells customer, but the way I was treated when I needed customer service has made me very reluctant to do business with them again.

This review does not accurately represent what occurred and omits essential facts about the transaction.
Most importantly, the statement that EYESHELLS refused an exchange because the glasses did not fit properly is factually false.
The exchange was not declined because of a sizing or fit issue. The original pair had previously been reported as not received, and EYESHELLS made an exception by providing 100% store credit for that order. That credit was then used toward another pair of glasses. The original shipment was subsequently recovered and received as well.
The later request therefore concerned an order for which full compensation had already been provided. Granting another replacement, refund, or credit would have meant compensating the same order twice.
The review also claims that EYESHELLS accused the customer of dishonesty or ultimately characterized him as someone trying to “manipulate the company” or “take advantage of us.” That is not an accurate representation of our position.
Customers are of course free to disagree with our decisions. However, stating that an exchange was refused simply because a pair did not fit—while omitting the fact that the same order had already been fully compensated—is a materially inaccurate description of what happened.
We maintain detailed records of this case and stand by our handling of it.
I purchased my most recent pair of glasses from Eyeshells. I had a wonderful experience. If you have a large head, then their Extended Fit selection is exactly what you would be looking for. I will very likely be checking their site first when I am in the market for new sunglasses.
I had the pleasure of dealing with Alex who took great care to make sure I got the right set of glasses that fit my face and pupil distance. They were prompt with their responses, and I felt like I was taken greatcare of.
The one thing I will say is that between the two shipments that I received from them I did not notice a significant benefit to going with the express delivery option. However, that may just be due to the nature of it being an international shipment. Their standard shipping to the US will probably be suitable for most customers ordering from that region.

I've used Eyeshells.com several times over the past two years. I've always found them to be very helpful with any issues and questions. The seven pair of glasses that I've ordered have all been great. They have styles I could never have found in my Optometrists office.

Eyeshells and it's owner Mr Alex are probably one of the best site and people out there!!! There were the only ones who had the frames super cool and big enough enough for large head which is a big problem for everyone!!!! There it was the solution. Not to mention that they can help you with every detail that you want. Finally my head was free from tightness and the inflamattion has finally recovered. They have a section for extended fit, and a million other things as well!!! All was perfect!!! Thank you very much eyeshell!!!!

I don’t leave reviews very often, but EYESHELLS absolutely earned this one.
I ordered a pair of prescription glasses and ran into a small sizing issue. I was honestly expecting the typical back-and-forth that seems so common with online retailers these days, but their customer service completely exceeded my expectations. They responded incredibly quickly, treated me with genuine kindness and respect, and resolved my issue without any hassle. That level of customer service is becoming rare.

Excellent service, great value, and real personal care
I have purchased several pairs of glasses from Eyeshells and have been very pleased with the overall experience. I was hesitant because I wasn't familiar with this company, but their customer service was incredibly responsive before during AND after my purchase so I gave it a shot.
Glasses are gorgeous and arrived faster than expected (considering that they're coming from China).
I ordered a $22 frame to test the basic lens as well as a pair of frames with polarized high index sunglass lenses.
A real person from Eyeshells messaged me as soon as I placed my order to review my request (it was somewhat atypical because I didn't want high index lenses even though I have a strong prescription-IYKYK).
It was very nice to hear from a real person who wanted to make sure I was going to be happy with my order.
We agreed on next steps, and he continued to follow up with me through the process.
Both glasses were well made and arrived well packaged a little less than 3 weeks after I ordered them.
I consider this very good because although I paid a little extra for faster delivery, I also ordered a complicated custom lens.
This was a successful test ... now I'm going to order again!

Received a colourful well priced pair or round frames. Little did I know that round lenses can rotate in their frames which can seriously affect visibility depending on your prescription. My e-mails received extremely quick responses and they were are to suggest a very quick fix (that even applied to lenses I'd bought from other companies.) Happy with my purchase and experience.

I have been doing business with this company since 2017. Every two years when I receive my prescription from my opticians, I always purchase at least 3 pairs of glasses from them. People always love my frames. I have never ever had an issue with my prescription lenses. I have recommend family and friends who share similar sentiments.
