I bought two products from Ferber…

I bought two products from Ferber Painting. However, they only sent one, and when I reached out to them to tell them about the situation, they wouldn't help unless I had the original cardboard box it was sent in. I explained what the box looked like and how the package arrived, and explained that the postman had probably taken a picture of it when he put it by the door, but that I no longer had the box as it had been thrown out, as I expected another package with the missing product to arrive - but when this did not happen, I reached out. The company wrote that they could not help then. I have never had such poor service, and moreover a company that steals your money - as they do not send your products, - or only half of them. I cannot recommend them in any way.

DO NOT BUY from this company. They do not send the goods, and all email correspondence you will receive when you ask repeatedly where the goods are will be written by AI. They will ignore ALL requests to cancel and refund your money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Purchase ok, delivery can be better

Easy navigation through the website. Clear payment process. Product according to specifications. Delivery time was about 15 working days instead of the indicated 2-5 working days. Delivery announced as being within 24/48 hrs but first attempt was within 6 hrs. As we were not home a second attempt was made the day after but without success as the courier couldn’t find our address. I called the courier and it was delivered at the end of the day. Conclusion: product purchase fine, delivery to be improved.

Order missing - not giving credit yet

I ordered 2 products weed killer 5 L and stump remover 1 l with additional fee for transport. they ended up sending me stump remover only 250ml bottle, I also see that they have changed some thing in there web page for this that there is no more option to select. when I ask for refund they mention only store credit but that is no where written only say we will take back product with no tension to you. I have been following up and they havent sent me the credit yet

Liquid pool liner scam

I ordered a liquid pool liner, almost exactly one year ago (5/7 2025). After my initial order it took more than 1 month to receive my package, which was packed poorly and as a result the tin with liquid had been destroyed during the delivery. I contacted them, and got a nice reply from their nice customer service, they would send me a new package. It took 6 months for the package to be delivered, this time it survived, but somehow the content of the tin this time was rocks covered in some liquid tar or asphalt.. Maybe they sent me the wrong thing???.. NO, I tried getting another delivery done 3 additional times. All the times I got a bucket of rocks... And now when my patience finally has run out, they deny me a refund, trying to get me to take a voucher for their website. Which is illegal in my country.. Still waiting for a final resolution, and refund, if that ever comes...

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Ferber Painting is a scam. You will never get your money back, regardless of your legal rights. You may or may not get the goods you ordered. I ordered some tung oil several weeks ago. They haven’t shipped it and won’t tell me when (if ever) they will. They won’t accept my cancellation of the order (per both UK and EU consumer rights). They send polite but deceitful emails claiming they can’t cancel the order because it’s ‘being processed’, or similar. And I very much doubt they will send the goods. It’s all about taking your money, nothing else. Without doubt, negative contribution to the sum of human happiness!

Really poor customer experience

Really poor customer experience. Nothing on their website, says that there could be a long delay before any products are shipped - and where they would be shipped from. I selected a delivery option for 3-5 days; over 2 weeks later the product has not even been shipped yet. I've only just received two emails following an web enquiry asking for an explainationl one in English and the second in French - no apology, just telling me to keep checking the tracking service by the courier and they will send out the product as soon as possible. I have now asked for the order to be cancelled and for me to be fully refunded for the waste of time. Be aware of this site.

Not impressed

Not impressed, the website says nothing about where the stuff comes from so I ended up with a £200 import duty bill, which they were not interested in! Very disappointing, it wouldn’t have been as bad had they sent it as one consignment, but sent as two, hence the £200 bill. It’s not a good start, not even used it and it’s not going well! Very frustrating!!!

Buyer beware!

Buyer beware! Pity I did not check reviews before ordering. Very slick operation, make you think it's a local site when based in Baltic republic and sends from Czechia. Ordered paint stripper, was sent 5 litres of distilled water! Luckily I paid with credit card, bank reversed the payment due to fraudulent activity.

Hello, I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the service I received. First, I had to wait approximately one month for delivery, which was already frustrating. After finally receiving the product, I discovered that the Gold Leaf Glue is completely unsuitable for professional decorative work. The adhesive dries almost instantly, leaving virtually no working time at all. For large decorative surfaces, walls, or ceilings, it is impossible to work properly with a product that gives less than a minute of usable time. This makes the product impractical for professional applications. I purchased this adhesive expecting a professional-grade product, but unfortunately my experience has been the opposite. After waiting such a long time, receiving a product that performs so poorly is extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product to other decorative finishers, plastering specialists, or contractors. I would appreciate your response regarding this matter.
