5 no-shows, dropped gazebo on my house, broke written reimbursement promise
I hired FixTman to assemble a gazebo at my home. Technicians failed to show for five separate scheduled appointments. The technician who did the work told me he had never built a gazebo like mine, and the assembly was so defective that FixTman's own senior technician determined it could not be repaired. FixTman replaced the gazebo under its satisfaction guarantee and committed to removing the damaged one. Their technician arrived for the removal without a ladder, helper, or dumpster, dropped half the gazebo onto my house and half onto my patio, and left the debris on my lawn. After failing to remove it for days, FixTman asked me in writing to hire a junk removal company and promised, without condition, to reimburse the cost once I sent the receipt. I notified them of the booking and estimate process in advance; they raised no objection. After I paid $1,391.94 and sent the itemized receipt, they refused to honor their promise, claiming for the first time that prior approval and multiple quotes were required. I have filed suit in Hennepin County Conciliation Court. I would not recommend this company. Update: The issues have been resolved and I dismissed the court case.

We were contracting FixTman LLC to…
We were contracting FixTman LLC to assemble double metal roof gazebo $850. We were told 2 Technicians would arrive the between 8 -10 am @ 10 am FixTman called to ask if Technicians we on site I responded no fixtman told us the techs were not answering their phone we were told FixTman would get back with a ETA fixtman told us techs were having car trouble and would be on site by 11:30 we told FixTman to cancel the job . 12:39 the technician called and said that he was on the way and that he had been given too many jobs by FixTman and could not get them all done . FixTman man called us several times and asked not to give them a negative review and that they would give me $30. Beware of FixTman!!!
My experience with FixTman was great…
My experience with FixTman was great the technicians were pleasant and did good work. Every seem to be going great until the tv fell off my wall. I contacted customer service and they refunded for the mounting however I’m stuck with a broken Tv. They also refused to pay the technician for their work even though they did install two TVs and only the one fell.
FixTman - Great Experience
FixTman was very easy to schedule and a pleasure to work with. I had several questions about the qualifications of the two-man crew they scheduled for my large gazebo kit build. They assured me they were vetted and qualified and were they ever. They showed up early, put it together without having to read the instructions and very pleasant to talk with. Very organized and placed all packing material neatly to the side as it’s not their responsibility to dispose of the materials. Highly recommend FixTman for any project.
