Thinking about joint ownership of your account? Think again!
The application process is terribly misleading. There is a section on the application itself to add a joint owner; an option that my husband and I always choose whenever we open a new account. Yet, even though the option is there in the electronic version of black and white, a co-owner cannot be added. I contacted Gainbridge to find out what the process is for adding my husband to the account. Their response was "Gainbridge is a member of the Group 1001 family of companies. While our sister company, Clear Spring Life, allows joint ownership on policies, Gainbridge currently offers single ownership only." In other words, Gainbridge itself does not have the capabilities of creating and using an application form specific to their own company, and instead rely on a generic form that doesn't necessarily pertain to them. Think about that as you ponder tying up your money with them.

At first I was intimidated to use an online financial institution. I did my research on Gainbridge and found you to be most reputable with an A rating plus I called several times to see what communication skills your staff had and found them to be helpful and knowledgeable. It took me a while but now I feel very comfortable with my decision. I may even move my IRA as I’m tired of paying an advisor especially since I’ve lost faith in the integrity of the stock market and how it’s being manipulated

Not sure why my 11K deposit did not go through and failed to be opened as a new account. I was disappointed I had to call to get it resolved. No one noticed? No calls or emails. However the service was helpful and efficient

Extremely easy and quick to sign up. I did extensive research into Gainbridge before going this route because I honestly thought, at first, that Gainbridge having the highest interest rate I could find without astronomical deposit minimums surely must mean it's a sketchy service but NOPE! Extremely easy to navigate and sign up, quick turnaround time for the money to be deposited. Now I just set and forget, with the occasional addition deposit in to boost my end result!
