What a great course for learning German. I have been struggling with understanding how German sentence structure works and Laura goes over all of this with you.

My daughter was learning German using Rosetta Stone. And her homeschool program has tests each unit that seems to get harder and harder. The Rosetta Stone we used was mainly pictures and you just guess what they are doing with the pictures and there's no explanations whatsoever especially in grammar. It was so frustrating. Laura's German grammar course really helped us and it answered a lot of our questions.

Amazing program

Amazing program, easy to understand and covers everything I have been asking that no one could answer. Each section is carefully planned and made bitesize for ease of understanding without overwhelming.

Stubborn Person Learning to Process

I have been on Duolingo for several years; my vocabulary is very good but my detail is not. So far (2 weeks) I have found that repetition is so beneficial. Laura is a wonderful teacher. Give German with Laura a try. It's well worth it.

Laura helped me to see patterns and make sense of a lot of things in German. The explanations were clear and the repetitive practice was very helpful. It would have been helpful to have some of the keys points from each lesson available in note form (otherwise, when you want to go back and review some of the concepts, you have to watch the whole video again.

Hands down the best experience I've had with a German course.

Laura's truly unique way of breaking down and organising the overwhelming (for me...) complexity of German grammar into a much simpler system/framework was the boost I needed to finally learn the language after years of just winging it. I fully recommend giving it a try!

Tools that Build Understanding!!!!

Laura’s tools and presentation are really the difference for me. The Gender Hierarchy took my comprehension of German from memorization to learning the language. Understanding the mono and poly syllables and the plural pathways (where I’m at now) are giving me a solid understanding and I’ve noticed when I read German, it makes much more sense. I’m excited and ready for more.

Looked at many sources for German online , books and German Colleagues but found Laura’s German Grammar course and teaching aids to be the best. Her approach gives it structure and logic and for me this is the best way for me to learn. I am dyslexic and struggled with my native English so this is brilliant for me 🤩🤩

Laura is a phenomenal teacher. She is able to clearly and succinctly explain grammar concepts that are so important to learning any language. Thanks to Foundations 1, I feel prepared to start speaking simple German, but also very motivated to start studying Foundations 2!

The Most Valuable German Course I’ve Found!

Before this course, I never truly understood essential topics like noun genders or the case endings for "der" and "ein" words. Despite trying many free resources, I always felt confused—until I found Laura’s German Fundamentals Course. Laura has a magical way of teaching that makes everything finally click. She shares unique hints and tricks that I’ve never seen explained elsewhere, breaking down complex topics like the case system and declension patterns into simple, manageable steps. I really recommend this course for anyone starting to learn Deutsch. It’s an absolute game-changer!

Hard course, but worth it

Like many people, I started learning German by using an app on my phone. But it didn’t take very long before what I was “learning” made no sense. There was no explanation for why certain word groupings were used or why certain articles were used in place of others. I stumbled onto Laura’s free “Unlocking German Grammar” course. Though limited in scope, I saw that she has the ability to break down a language with some complicated rules into chunks that were more easily understood. So, for me, it was a logical move to carry on with her paid course, “German Foundations”. As good an instructor as she is, this is not an easy course. Learning German with Laura

Learning German language can be intimidating. Using German with Laura approaches learning rather differently with unique but detailed visual charts, with in-depth knowledge transfer and thoroughly explained fundamentals and concepts that can only come from an expert that she is. I can recommend her methods to anyone out there who is lost in the confusion and struggling to make progress while "learning in tears" elsewhere. Thank you Laura for demystifying and making German language fan to learn and a wonderful experience.

Fantastic course and instructor!

I recently completed Laura’s German Foundations 1 course and have now gone on enthusiastically to her German Foundations 2 course. I unfortunately had terrible German teachers in high school and college, which turned me off from learning the language. Finally, I have found a fantastic German teacher. Laura is phenomenally organized, clear, methodical, systematic, enthusiastic, and fun in her teaching. And most importantly, she has the rare quality of being a remarkably EMPATHETIC instructor. That is, she immediately recognizes what concepts are especially challenging for her students and pays special attention to bridge those conceptual gaps. Laura’s German Foundations 1 course was unquestionably worth the cost in money and effort. Although I have only just begun her German Foundations 2 course, I’m already certain that that course will also have been completely worthwhile, with money well spent.

Systematic start to learning German

This is the only course that I have attended thus far that teaches grammar in a systematic way that is easy to understand and makes sense to beginners like me.
