Super easy and convenient platform. I was looking for a birthday present for my dad and was easily able to find a great captain and sailboat. The whole process was seamless, from searching to booking.

The app was easy to use but hard to navigate to my current booking -> messages. That's why 4 stars instead of 5 stars. It would be great to have separate tab for messages instead of going into the reservation.

Broken automated system and abysmal customer support

I am a luxury travel advisor managing high-net-worth clientele. I signed up for GetMyBoat to book a vessel for a client who was ready to transact immediately. After sending a few standard inquiries, my account was abruptly banned. When I reached out to customer support to clear up what was obviously a system error, the service was abysmal. They hid behind "backend triggers" and refused to give any explanation. I proactively offered to get on a call, provide my passport, share my official travel advisor credentials, and complete video verification. They refused it all, doubling down that the ban is "for life" due to automated signals. If your platform's automated security filters out verified luxury professionals and your support team refuses to do basic human verification, your system is broken. You didn't just lose my business; you lost access to an entire network of high-paying clientele. Completely rigid, unhelpful, and unprofessional.

Get My Boat stole the money

Get My Boat was used for a company I'm on a list for as a Captain. They are a third party booking agent and have not paid the company nor have they paid me for over a month. I will be refusing any clients booked through Get My Boat, total scam. Basically just stole the money

First but not last!

This was my first time using this platform and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. The first one I booked didn’t work out but I got my money back pretty quickly. The second one went much smoother and I was satisfied with the trip.

Drivers are not background checked

Drivers are not background checked. We didn’t find out until after that our driver is awaiting trial for multiple sexual felonies. He has not been kicked off the platform. RENT ELSEWHERE

We had a celebration of life on this beautiful yacht. The staff was very kind and caring and very friendly. The yacht was very clean and very well kept. They were on time. They were very helpful. All in all our celebration of life for my grandfather who was a longshoreman went perfectly. I would definitely recommend this beautiful yacht and it’s lovely crew. Thanks again to you all!

Absolute SCAM booked a boat went back and fourth before booking , 1 min after I paid she messaged me and said she needs more money to book the boat , now I have to wait 4 days for a refund that’s even if I get one , DO NOT BOOK SCAM

Poor service

Booked a boat for Saturday 5pm, paid in full (not just the deposit). On the day of the supposed trip, at noon, the boat manager cancelled the reservation, the alternatives were not provided neither by the manager NOR by getmyboat company and the birthday celebration gift to our friend was ruined. I would expect getmyboat to help customers and find an alternative in situations like this.

Super easy, Excellent experience

Super easy to use the app. We got the perfect boat for 7 of us to go offshore to scatter my mom’s ashes in the Gulf of America. Everyone enjoyed the experience that also included photo ops with a pod of dolphins. The boat was well kept, and the host was extremely helpful getting familiar with the boat before we departed

We found the process of lining up the boat a little clunky but the experience once we got there was good. Boat owner was supportive and friendly.

30 person catamaran experience!

I was stressed about choosing the right boat and provider for a 30 person boat day. Getmyboat made it easy to collect quotes and determine the best fit for our group. The payment process was easy and the messaging functionality worked perfectly. I would absolutely recommend others.

After waiting for 45 minutes and 3 phone calls to "24/7 support", Walter George emailed me the Captain's number. After 2 voicemails to Captain Andre Pilon, he finally calls back and says that he had no confirmation of my charter. I received 2 emails and a text message with complete details and my credit card had been charged in full 3 weeks prior. Captain said he could arrive in 30 minutes which put us at over an hour and a half of waiting. Horrible customer service and didn't appreciate the Captain telling me I had to listen. Choose another charter company.
