Yanderson, my teacher was incredibly patient and explained everything so clearly. His method of reading aloud really helped me improve my speaking skills. I am genuinely glad I chose iAmigo Spanish School. it's made a real difference for me.
For the past 3 months, I have been taking classes with Andrés and it's been a great experience! I started my classes before moving to Uruguay and it provided me with a good practical base before moving. Andrés is very patient and he is a great teacher. I like how he adds elements of culture and regional variations to the classes and it's been very helpful. I also really enjoy how the classes are tailored to our own needs. The self-learning videos are also well done and easy to follow. Highly recommended!
I love the quality of sessions and the cost of the 1to1 approach. Carla is a great and a very patient teacher. I am super happy to learn spanish with Global Spanish :)
Agustin has become more than just a Spanish teacher to me. He's provided me with the confidence and vision to ensure that I become fluent. Agustin really takes the time to hear and understand you as a student, and then centres the experience around you and your interests. It's difficult to find teachers who are as passionate, patient and enthusiastic about teaching, as well as learning about their students. I want to thank him and the Global Spanish team for all of their hard work, attention to detail and encouraging spirit. Agustin, I wish you nothing but the best in your career, and I look forward to learning more of the language, and of the culture with you!
I have been learning Spanish for 7 years. I started with Roseta Stone, Duolingo, Rocket Spanish, and a few other resources. I can't speak on being a beginner with Global Spanish, however at my level I found this course to be amazing. The staff caters the course to your individual level/needs, my teacher, Andres, is very helpful and understands the struggles an english learner has with Spanish so explanation and understanding is a breeze. My favorite aspect of this course is being able to speak and listen. We read news articles, learn new local words and phrases, it doesn't feel like a chore. It feels like the natural way to learn a language. I have become more confident in my ability to speak and highly recommend Global Spanish!
We set out to move our family to Spain some time ago. We set out to learn Spanish and found Global. We are extremely happy with Agustín. He is patient, knowledgeable and integral with our leaning of the Spanish language. He caters the material to your needs and goals. Touches on weakness as well as pulls you out of your shell which tends to happen when learning a new language. Agustín makes learning the language fun and challenging which is a great mix. The different angles and references he uses to make it relate to YOU has had an immeasurable impact on my understanding. He knowledge and passion for teaching exudes through him and is palpable during our sessions. Looking forward to many more. Cheers!
Agustín is an outstanding Spanish teacher who brings enthusiasm and expertise to every lesson. His teaching style is engaging and tailored to meet the needs of each student, making complex concepts easy to understand. He uses a variety of interactive techniques, which keeps classes both fun and educational. Agustín is patient, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that his students grasp the material. His passion for the Spanish language and culture is truly inspiring, and he creates a supportive learning environment that encourages everyone to participate and improve. I highly recommend Agustín to anyone looking to learn or improve their Spanish skills.
Carla is an excellent teacher. She really customizes her lessons to suit your needs and knows exactly what to focus on to bring your Spanish to the next level. She is very attentive and accessible.
I picked up some Spanish on my travels, but I could not improve my Spanglish, despite trying some classes on the usual apps. I figured I'd be stuck hanging out in the gringo zones of Latam, speaking English with jaded expats. Then I found Global Spanish and the fantastic Carla Esposito. Now I can finally say I speak and understand Spanish. Adiós, gringos; hola, bachata in the barrios! Carla is a true professional. You can tell she genuinely wants you to succeed. She makes learning fun, I look forward to my classes, and the hour flies by. Carla loves her literature and has shared stories, articles, and books that have not only helped my Spanish but also given me real insight into the culture. Honestly, I feel like I could move to Argentina tomorrow, pull out my bombilla, and fit right in, che! It's not just Carla who's amazing. I've also had classes with Andres and Augustin—they're great guys and excellent teachers too. My 8 months with GS has changed my Latin experience, and I'll be learning Portuguese with them next. Join Global Spanish. You won't regret it!
Benny is a great teacher and allows me to explore my interests
I've been taking classes with Andrés at Global Spanish for almost two years--in three one-hour blocks per week. I came in with some Spanish grammar knowledge from high school classes, but I was a long way off from feeling comfortable speaking. I appreciate how Andrés gives real-time, constructive feedback--there's no better way to learn a language. I always find myself looking forward to Spanish class: it's a great break from the workday and it's a pleasure to hang out with Andrés. Thank you Andrés and the Global Spanish team! I've been recommending Global Spanish every chance I get.
My experience with Global Português has been excellent! They are very professional, and student friendly. Benites, my teacher, brings a very dynamic and exciting energy to each class. He is not afraid to ask for feedback and adjust accordingly. He makes sure that every class is not only educational, but also FUN. Very important in leaning a new language as an adult.
Starting my second month! My Portuguese is improving a lot with Benites and happy with the progress. He is personable, and easy going/ fun to learn with. Only improvement, is things could be more structured.
Benites has been great. He’s super flexible with my scheduling and adapts the lessons to my learning needs.
Benites is a great teacher and helps me learn at my own pace
Classes have been great! Flexible hours, and personable teacher that is fun to learn with. Benites is awesome!
I've been taking a Spanish course with Global Spanish, and my teacher, Andrés, has been exceptional. In just a short period of time, I feel like I've learned a lot, thanks to his patience and non-judgmental approach. Andrés creates a comfortable and encouraging learning environment, making each lesson enjoyable and productive. His teaching methods are clear and effective, allowing me to grasp new concepts quickly and confidently. One of the things I appreciate most about Andrés is his ability to tailor the lessons to my individual needs and pace. He is always willing to answer questions and provide additional support whenever necessary. This personalized attention has greatly enhanced my learning experience and kept me motivated to improve my Spanish skills. I genuinely look forward to each class and am excited to continue my language journey with Andrés. I highly recommend Global Spanish and Andrés to anyone looking to learn Spanish in a supportive and positive setting.
I cannot recommend Global Spanish highly enough! Gabriela (my teacher) is amazing, patient, and she understands what I need to make progress in each class. I've told friends about Global Spanish, and expect two to start lessons in the next few weeks. If you're serious about learning Spanish, get off duolingo and all the other apps (the tinder of language learning) and get a dedicated teacher with Global Spanish. You won't regret it.
That's fantastic to hear! It sounds like you've found a gem in our teacher and Global Spanish. Having a dedicated teacher who understands your learning needs can make a world of difference. And it's great that you're spreading the word to your friends too. Personalized attention beats swiping through language apps any day! Keep up the good work with your Spanish learning journey.
If you're serious about learning Spanish, and you need a flexible schedule, Global Spanish is the spot. I've been doing 4 hours of lessons per week for 3 months at this point and I've made so much progress while traveling around Latin America. Google translate isn't enough and it's often wrong. You need the context of a native speaker. And Global Spanish gives you this! Of course you can use apps, but it's not always going to give you enough feedback. You're going to have questions. Melisa has been extremely great to work with and professional and is never hesitant to give advice and on what you need to work on.
I’m really enjoying the classes with Global Spanish. One of the benefits of taking one on one classes is they’re personalized to suit your level as opposed to a classroom environment. I’m currently taking classes with Melisa who is very friendly, patient and accommodating. The class feels like talking to a friend and not super formal, we practice conversation for the first 40 minutes and then grammar for the final part. I have studied Spanish in a classroom environment in Colombia before and it was grammar heavy which is important however our goal is to be able to converse with someone is Spanish. I will definitely be taking out another package with Global Spanish and also would highly recommend them to anyone looking to learn Spanish regardless of whatever level you’re at.
