Daren our guide went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we wanted and needed. His calm nature, knowledge and sense of humour ensured that we had the best experience possible. Ian, out amazing driver took care of the stress related to navigating the windy terrain.
Our tour guide Doug, was excellent and made the trip very enjoyable and interesting. The driver Tim, was also very good and shared his experience of the area with us.
The itinerary was wonderful and Conchetta (our Globus guide) made everything easy. We saw Rome, Florenc, Pisa, Venice, Assisi, Pompeii, Capri, and Sorrento. We had plenty of free time and well coordinated excursions. This was our best Globus adventure yet!
Never been to Canada, this tour has made me want to go back and visit again. The landscape hotels were out of this world.
This was a comprehensive tour of Germany. Out tour guide was knowledgeable and full of information. She was very thorough giving us our itinerary each evening before the next day and reminding us what we should bring and repeating times and locations. We had full days of touring with a break before dinner to rest and freshen up. It was a fantastic trip!
This was our first time traveling on a Globus tour. Our tour guide Suzanna was wonderful. She was very knowledgable and shared very interesting information with all of us wherever we went. She went above and beyond to make sure that each one of us on her tour had the very best time. Our coach drive Thomas was an amazing driver who got us where we needed to be safely and was always willing to lend us a helping hand. I would definitely book with Globus Tours again in the future.
Excellent tour director Riccardo; excellent driver, he kept us safe and was so patient! Tours were informative and very moving!
Guide was accommodating to our needs with limited mobility.
The people, places and experiences
It was an experience above and beyond everything we ever imagined. From start to finish this tour was superb with the very best tour director and driver
Globus Serengeti and Beyond was the most phenomenal trip imaginable! I had high expectations when I took my daughter and four young adult granddaughters to Tanzania but they were exceeded every day in every way. Our accommodations were superb with congenial and helpful staff. Our Tour Manager, Danny, was personable, knowledgeable, organized and had a delightful sense of humor. Our driver/guide was equally as knowledgeable, fun, and an excellent navigator of the rugged roads. Globus provided special treats: a wonderful bush breakfast, a lakeside sundowner, a hot lunch in Ngorongoro Crater (other groups had cold box lunches), a garden tour and lunch at renowned Gibbs Farm and an amazing Farewell Dinner by a blazing campfire in the bush. We saw more animals than I thought possible and every day provided new and exciting adventures. Truly the trip of a lifetime with memories to last forever.
This was, quite simply, a wonderful week. The tour is quite short but it gives an overview of the amazing diversity of the Maritime islands- history, geography and culture. Annette was the best tour guide I've come across- her enthusiasm was infectious and she injected energy into every activity. The coach was comfortable and the accommodation was top class (although each hotel has the shower over the bath, just so you're aware). This beautiful part of Canada is worth visiting.
Food was scare and of poor quality. Accommodations terrible. Bus driver excellent. Tour guide was fine but he was working people for end of tour tips which got tiring. Seats on bus were uncomfortable. We recommend you look elsewhere. We won't book with Globus again.
Our Tour Guide Peter Dundon was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and was very conscious to give us detail information about the days events. His stories and expirences was a great part of our trip everyday. He is a great Tour Director. Our Driver Shaun was also outstanding. He was very helpful getiing us on and off the bus. He navigated the tight rides with expertise. Both Peter and Shaun made our experience very enjoyable on our 10 day journey without any problems. This tour Ireland Unveiled-Beyond the Blarney Small Group is outstanding and I highly recommend it. In some of the hotels the showers and tub were sometimes a challenge to get in and out of due the height of tub.
I have been on a lot of tours. My tour director made the experience an outstanding one
Our tour guide, Iris, was amazing and made the whole experience so enjoyable! Our trip was very well organized and planned out. It was so nice to go on a vacation and not have to worry about anything, because everything was planned and arranged for us. Even if something happened that forced our plan to change, our tour director took care of everything and made the trip entirely stress free for us.
This was our 5th trip with Globus and it was fantastic. An incredible itinerary, wonderful excursions and so much fun. But, our tour director Luis was the best part as he made the jouirney GREAT! He was professional, knowledgeable, ultra-organized, friendly and FUNNY! In looking at our next GJ trip we are thinking of choosing one that Luis is our leader.
The Eastern European tour provided by Globus was fantastic!!! A busy tour but so worth the experience. My husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The tour guide was amazing and her knowledge was abundant. The hotels were 5 star and central to the cities we visited. We are excited to book another vacation in the near future.
Tour guide personnel and the driver work well together. Our luggage, meals, hotels were on point and ready.
Everything went smoothly just as Globus said it would.
