Outside the plate there are foods of great importance
My studies at IIN have enriched my knowledge, mainly in the emotional and spiritual aspects, in order to be able to help people in a more efficient way. My knowledge in nutrition needed this reinforcement and I was able to get it here. It is a very comprehensive approach. Thank you.

IIN has improved over the years
IIN has improved over the years, but still could be better. I originally started with IIN in 2018 for the Health Coach Program and what was then called the Emotional Eating course. At that time it was solely watching lectures and videos. Taking the newly named Mindful Eating course in 2024, there were still recorded videos and lectures, but now with some live calls mixed in. These were so great! I wish they had been scheduled weekly through the course. I also would prefer Zoom. So many attendees, including me, had issues with Microsoft Teams during each call. I would also like to see them make it easier for classmates to connect with each other during the course and after it's completion.
I found another company that I did a second certification for Health Coach through, which was a much better, live and interactive experience along with the recorded materials, as well as prepared me to get my NBC-HWC certification. I like that IIN offers the sub-courses (mindful eating, hormones, etc.), and those are better than they used to be, but hope they continue to improve for a better experience for learning and utilizing the material.

Thank you very much for your feedback on the Mindful Eating Course. Our Content team worked very hard on improvements from Emotional Eating to bring a more interactive course. In the near future, the entire IIN company will be moving all its webinars to Zoom. I hope if you are enrolled with us in the future, that will be useful to you. Although you found another company to prepare for your certification, we are happy you had a positive experience. Our NBHWC preparatory course, Coaching Intensive Practicum, is very interactive with biweekly live learning calls, breakout rooms to practice, and Buddy Coaching demos where you get a chance to practice your skills and get valuable feedback from a Professional Health Coach. We have some of the best! Thank you again for offering ways we can improve our product, and we are grateful for your review.
An extraordinary life with a visionary consciousness
It all started when I was sitting in front of the computer looking for a new career that would give me several professions in one. I found IIN where it talked about a health coach and how it could help people achieve their wellness goals. Something that I practiced almost all my life, aligning food, physical, spiritual and mental exercise. I left my country of origin 4 years ago to find myself and know what I wanted for my life, getting a new opportunity to live. On that path I found the possibility of being a volunteer, I became an ambassador for a worldpackers page, I lived several personal experiences, I was a nomad in search of my truth, in mid-2022 I began studying at IIN, only for reasons of insecurity, working in a 5-star hotel for the first time and with a mental condition that I discovered now at 32 years of age made me lose the chance to graduate in that promotion, I started again in 2023 and only now am I able to have it.
I take quite well the fact that thanks to this profession I was able to discover having ADHD, I want to put my knowledge into mental health and how food helps us better develop our health.
I want to mix science with the holistic and how unity is strength.
This is just a little of my experience to share with you.
I leave you my contacts so you can follow my growth.

We know you will help so many people, thank you for sharing story to inspire others who might be thinking about choosing IIN.
M finding it hard to relate to the course. Its not what's
I intended it to be.I was looking for an interactive course. But it seems so boring 😴 without an interactive program. I regret paying my money which cost a lot. You can't talk to anyone in person only emails. Before
I could enroll I had a call all the time. Its boring listening to the same person over and over for me. I wish I could get out at this time and don't have to pay the rest.i regret its not what I intended.

We appreciate your feedback, Velega. It seems you had different expectations for our course. IIN offers online courses with many interactive components, including live webinars and group mentorship calls. Our HCTP course also features 50+ featured speakers and visiting faculty members over the course of 40 modules. Perhaps with some progression through your course and getting a chance to listen to all those influential thought leaders, that will help your viewpoint. If you have any other concerns, please contact our Student Support office, and we can discuss your situation and possibilities.

IIN is worth the money
IIN is worth the money. It has helped me both personally and professionally. I am looking to make a career change into health coaching and IIN doing everything for me to be successful. The synchronicities that have happened since I started the program have been incredible. The work load is just right and up to date content . My only regret is that I didn’t start the program sooner

LOVING IIN
I absolutely am in love with the program at IIN. I was a stay-at-home mother for 25 years and was always involved in health, wellness and fitness. When I went back to my previous career I didn't find joy in it anymore. I was searching for something that I didn't know existed! My daughter's best friend was in IIN and I researched and had a great time speaking with the admissions counselor who never made me feel I asked too many questions or called her too many times. I was hooked! I told my husband the day before the tuition was due and started the course within a week. It was the best decision I have made in a long time and I have zero regrets. I love every aspect of it. While I am a little scared to start this journey, I am extremely excited about what I am learning and the new direction of my life! I particularly enjoyed working with Dillan for the coaching circles. I love the guidance and amazing ideas he has and how wonderfully he works with all the students. I am a very happy customer!

Best decision I ever made
I discovered IIN while in was in graduate school, earning my master's in nutrition. Most of my classes in graduate school seemed so irrelevant, I was hating the experience. From the first class at IIN I was drawn in and wanting more, and the deeper I got into the syllabus the more powerful the lessons became. Not every single lesson spoke to me, but that's okay. IIN presents so many different approaches because not everyone will connect with every philosophy. IIN is about bioindividuality, not conformity.

hi Sher! We appreciate you taking time to leave us such a positive review, particularly sharing the contrast you experienced in a master's program for nutrition! Integrative Health Coaching includes so much more, which you definitely seem to value. Thanks again for your wonderful words.
Thank you for an amazing educational experience at IIN!
I'm grateful for the incredible journey at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition! The Health Coach Certification Program has a comprehensive approach, combining ancient wisdom with cutting-edge science and giving us an expanded view of holistic wellness.
I want to express my appreciation for all our amazing instructors, and coaches, who shared their expertise and passion with us and created an outstanding educational experience.
IIN has given us more than knowledge - it's gifted us with inspiration and a wonderful community!!!

Great resource to get the holistic knowledge
The course materials are great! The support desk is quick and effective and they have a lot of platforms where you can connect with the people you are studying with.
The only thing I would suggest is to keep in mind that you do not have a mentor, supervisor, etc. You do have an accountability partner that is also studying the course so it is easy to get behind and struggle keeping up the pace without that kind of support.
And to have at least one platform where you can have discussions, it was kind of sad not being able to truly feel connected with other students because the fracebook group did not allow posts or discussion except in comments. Maybe using something like discord where studends can connect while they are learning materials and they could even ask questions for teachers to reply on a weekly basis.

Hi Judith, we appreciate your positive review and feedback about your course experience, particularly how much you enjoyed the course materials and your experience with Student Support. We will take your suggestions into consideration as we continuously iterate and improve our program and products!

My experience with IIN as I graduated to be a Certified Integrative Health and Wellness Coach
I graduated as an Integrative Health Coach after completing the Health Coach Training Program with IIN in 2021. This course not only enhanced my knowledge and experience; but also taught me about wellness through a different perspective.
As I started my journey of healing myself and wanting to share the same experience with others I felt the need to be Board Certified and hence took up the CIP course with IIN. Personally, as a coach the CIP course broadened my knowledge on different aspects of coaching along with equipping me with great tools towards coaching. The buddy coaching sessions and the practical sessions helped us with live examples of how to handle different situations with ease and comfort. I am now a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach Practitioner as of May 2024.
We did not only have an amazing Coach/Trainer but also a great cohort team.
I look forward to pursuing more courses with IIN, the next being the Hormone Health Course.

Bindia, we appreciate you leaving this testimonial for us! We are so glad you chose to take our CIP course to prepare to become a board certified health coach. Thanks for letting us know how much you enjoyed your experience.
I graduated August 2023 from the health coaching program and felt that I needed more with coaching individuals specifically. I wanted really understand the ins and outs of coaching. CIP was it for me. I am now a Certified Health Coach Practitioner as of 12/5/24!
The experience was truly amazing. My coach/teacher was Merritt. She was so patient, kind, and supportive. She really encouraged me and that gave me confidence that I can be a great health coach.
I also enjoyed the lessons and other students. We had quite an amazing cohort.
I am so grateful for the experience and I will attend more programs that they offer in the future. I love learning and growing as a person and I know IIN is where I want to continue my education.

I cannot say enough great things about IIN! I am a graduate of their IHC and Board Practicum courses and am now a proud Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach;)
Through the practicum, I was able to use what I had learned from the IHC program and build my own wellness coaching business and website: Rooted Health Coaching LLC. I was able to start a wellness blog and am now hosting wellness expos!

I am NOT an imposter IIN
I have been battling “Western Medicine” my whole life having been a product of theirs literally fighting for my own well being. I went through IIN’s program in 2013-2014 when I was getting off of medications and had given a testimonial at the Lincoln Jazz Center in NYC at an IIN conference after meeting Joshua Rosenthal at The Omega Institute for Holistic Studies when I was on staff there in 2014 and 2015.
I also met Deepak Chopra in person when I was at Omega who is currently helping at IIN.
Recently I was on a call regarding Nature’s Sunshine the vitamin company they partnered with and was called “an imposter” on a zoom call by a woman.
I feel IIN has something against certain types of ethnicities or races that doesn’t fit their recent agenda.
IIN opened me up to so much about health and wellness when I was apart of it but I have been “indoctrinated” by “Western Medicine” since I was young.
So much more to share regarding my testimony. I will never give up in this fight I’m going through. Thank you very much for reading this!
When I signed up for the IIN coaching program, I did so after such success within my own health journey .
About 8 years ago I was diagnosed with chronic Lyme Disease . The Lyme Disease had ultimately attacked my digestive system, resulting in gastroparesis which ultimately paralyzed my digestive system. My body was filled with inflammation and my stomach hurt all of the time.
Unfortunately my journey through the traditional medical world didn’t offer me much help nor relief. Most of my symptoms were dismissed and brushed off as “ your perimenopausal” that can lead to a lot of joint pain and feeling like you’re losing your mind! I was determined to find answers and embarked on a journey to be my own strongest advocate. It’s through this mindset that I found a Lyme Disease specialist who also diagnosed my Hashimotos Thyroid Disease and ultimately found the right combination of thyroid medication along with months of antibiotics. This specialist combined traditional medicine with integrative medicine. Once my body felt like it was healing, I began to feel healthier. Coming from a fitness background, my Lyme disease and the joint pain had caused a sedentary lifestyle, the hormonal imbalance of menopause combined with an underactive thyroid ~ it was the perfect storm for weight gain. A tremendous amount of weight gain which then led to a downward spiral of depression. I used to be the woman in front of a class teaching fitness classes!
Once I was medically improving , my stomach was starting to feel better after elimination diets, sibo testing and adopting a gluten free diet. I was now ready to start going back to the gym. I had a tremendous amount of weight to lose and after a ton of soul searching, I realized that even though I knew how to teach fitness classes , I knew very little about nutrition. My journey with a health coach began. We formulated a nutrition plan based on Whole Foods
and macro nutrient guidelines following all of my food allergy concerns, along with a fitness plan. My journey was very successful. It took me a year , but I lost over 80 pounds. Most people saw the outside of me , but the most significant change occurred inside . My coach and I discussed my “all or nothing mentality that set me up for failure, along with progress not perfection. This was life changing for me. I have continued down this path and have educated myself with the knowledge of food is medicine. About 2 years ago . My stomach began to start hurting again , I immediately contacted my doctor who ordered a new test for Alpha Gal Syndrome also a tick borne disease that was showing very recent high levels of infection in Maryland. I tested positive, and immediately was told my body was showing allergic reactions to all mammalian products . The reactions could be as severe as anaphylactic shock. A new journey has begun. What most people don’t understand is that mammalian products are everywhere. Many medications are created using gelatin( a mammalian product ) and most importantly my thyroid medication was derived from pigs( also a mammalian product) I became my own advocate again and had my thyroid medication compounded as a vegan formula and I have stated away from beef and pork as well.
In summary, I joined IIN in this journey to become a health coach as I am the actual definition of “Food is Medicine”. Adopting this philosophy has ultimately given me my life back . I want the opportunity to help others feel the way I feel about myself. I want to help others learn about the circle
of life and primary foods. It would be my greatest honor and privilege. This journey through my health coaching course which I am about half way through has made me
feel so motivated and inspired. With each and every module we learn from, I find myself so genuinely excited. In the beginning of this course ,
I was so nervous about the possibility of coaching others . Now I can’t wait !! Each and every one
of my health histories has been some of the most inspiring and enlightening opportunities I’ve ever had. After each health history, I have felt like friendships have been formed. One specific health history , I can recall the student telling me that I exude such joy with coaching !! Today I just completed all
of my coaching circles required for graduation and I honestly wish there were more . What a wonderful opportunity to fellowship, brainstorm, learn and genuinely become inspired in such a safe space. In closing, all
I can say is that I absolutely LOVE doing this !! I have finally found my calling in life
Thank You , IIN
Sincerely.

Institute for Integrative Nutrition
Iin
When I signed up for IIN it was because I felt I had some extra time after becoming an empty nester and wanted to gain more knowledge about nutrition in order to better advise my patients in my private practice as a psychotherapist.
It was originally intended to be an interesting, useful but much less challenging journey than any of my university degrees.
When I started the course I viewed it almost as entertainment as I had my life and practice under control, (at least I thought I did) however it instead became a personal journey where I was challenged to face some of the aspects of my life I still needed to work on.
As every Monday came around I was presented with a new module but also presented with new knowledge and more importantly things I could tweak and change in my own life.
IIN has encouraged me to put up the mirror and allowed me to face and slowly change things in my own life. Things I had suppressed and not wanted to face but hearing stories and others journeys I could relate, and it became much more real.
Often we push what we don’t want to face aside until it’s right in front of us.
Even though I’m still in my own therapy and felt like I was doing all the right things to have a balanced and healthy life there were several aspects I hadn’t thought about or had suppressed before IIN.
It has and continues to be a journey of self discovery and that’s essentially the key to becoming a good coach or psychotherapist. We can only coach others on a process we trust as we have ourselves done it and experienced the benefits from it.
Anyone who’s considering IIN for either personal or professional development I can highly recommend it.
It’s a wondrous experience and you become a better and healthier person from it.
