The Power Is In The Palm Of Your Hand-Be The Change You Want To See

What Made My Experience Great? Yes, I am thrilled to share my inspiring thoughts, feelings and actions transforming so many comforting areas of my life occurring as a result of being present in each moment I take the time to take care of me., Leadership Coaches have inspired me in Self Care of myself and others. There is JOY in my Journey and it all started with the Institute Of Integrative Nutrition putting the Power In The Palm Of My Hand conveniently with the Virtual Health and Wellness Program I am participating in right now. I have truly experienced possibilities to give back to society what was taken away as a result of the COVID epidemic 4 years ago. COVID was time sensitive and out of our control. The isolation it brought to our society, The universe is in the driver's seat. I learned how to manage my bio-individuality and multicultural health and wellness. Thank you IIN Coaches for inspiring my Mental Muscle " My Brain" and emotionally healing my Circle of Society with Health and Wellness. My STAR GOAL is: I Want My Body To Take Me Wherever I Want To Go. How am I going to do that? My Mantra is To Be The Change I Want To See. Thank you IIN Coaches Circles for your inspiration.

Who doesn't want better health?

I wish that everyone knew what I now know after enrolling in the IIN Health Coach certification plan. Eight years ago, I was told I was pre-diabetic. This launched me into research because I was determined not to become diabetic. I changed what I was eating and lost weight, and my blood sugar balanced out. Then the COVID shutdown happened, and I stopped my healthy eating and incorporated alcohol way too frequently. I gained weight and had terrible health habits. I've struggled the past four years trying to get back on track. I biologist by education, I find that learning the science behind nutrition helps me tremendously. I enrolled in IIN to learn more. This program is amazing. I understand so much more now about nutrition and how the body works. Even more, it makes me realize that we are suffering at the hands of the big food industry. I want to educate everyone about nutrient dense food and that food isn't the only thing that keeps us healthy. IIN addresses the whole person and teaches you how to live holistically to be the best version of yourself. Who wouldn't want that?

Life changing health coaching course

I signed up to the institute of integrative nutrition in November of last year and I am half way through the course. I was hesitant at first as the course is online and I have only ever participated in courses that have been in person however I can say that it has exceeded my expectations and provides a supportive learning environment. As you move through the modules you gain a deeper understanding of all the different elements related to health. It is carefully broken down into modules and has a balanced combination of theory and assignments that are thought provoking and lead you on a journey of discovery and insight into your own health that is then fed into the coaching aspect. Throughout the modules you meet experts in their field passionate about imparting their knowledge in a way that is engaging and captures your attention. One of the standout features of the course is the practical elements encouraging you to not only explore your own health, but a deeper dive into how you plan on using the course to build a career and guidance on how to set up a business. The coaching circles are an opportunity for you to move through challenges you are experiencing on a personal and professional level and the chance to meet other students on the course and arrange times to meet to practice your coaching skills. I went into the course with the objective of continuing my career in the wellness industry (I am a Pilates instructor) as a health coach and I am feeling empowered and confident that this is the right path for me. If you are considering signing up to a health coaching course, I would recommend INN as the course carefully combines expertise, practical application, personal and professional development and a supportive community.

Absolutely loving the Core Health Coach…

Absolutely loving the Core Health Coach training program! I'm 30% done with the course and have thoroughly enjoyed every part of the learning process with IIN. Personally, I've been in the health and wellness industry for over 10 years and through the beginning of course I've already learned so much. The variety of teachers is so refreshing! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to expand their knowledge, improve their personal health, and move forward to work with clients in the health coaching space.

Highly Recommend IIN

This past year I had an opportunity to be part of the IIN Family. It truly was a wonderful program focusing on bio-individuality and multi-dimensional health (two areas that are extremely important to me). I initially joined IIN for my own personal learning, growth and transformation; however, during the program, I truly found my passion and want to share my love for wellness with others. I am now beginning to embark on my new career and so excited about what the future holds. IIN classmates I have met along the way have become very close friends and some IIN mentors (Dena!) have been so supportive @ IIN. I am so grateful for all their guidance and support! The two downsides I experienced during the program was the slow responses from IIN's support team and the limited live coaching sessions. However, IIN does offer a Coaching Intensive Practicum if you are interested in pursuing further coaching support and eventually sit for the board exam. All in all, I am very happy with my overall experience! Like anything in life, your experience will reflect what you put into the program. If you continually connect with your classmates and mentors on the FB page as well as other modalities you will absolutely love the program and thrive! :)

IIN program

I attended IIN & met bare minimum requirements for graduation due to having a family medical emergency. This program has life changing content. It really evolves you as a person & helps you grow if you take it and apply it. My 3 stars is due to the support team at IIN primarily. Once you pay the $4,500 + if not more now, they often don't answer your support messages or ignore them. They publicize so much how the support team is there for you for any questions, helping you establish everything after blah blah. Not true. I've requested extensions explaning the circumstances & nothing. The customer service is poor. This has been a constant problem for me. In addition, no one notified me there was limited access to the modules after graduation. My modules randomly shut down mid way through. No acknowledging anything. No emails beforehand indicating my modules are expiring so at least I could have hustled to finish if given a deadline in advance. All my messages to them go ignored & i just receive notifications that the enquiry was resolved. As a health coaching program you think you'd have a team that talks and communicates more when they teach these key things and how they contribute towards wellness. This has led to low reviews on my end. You make the massive investment, the least you can do is allow someone to fully immerse and finish the course, learn & grow from it. I don't feel the investment is worth it in my eyes. I would not recommend this course, there are plenty of other more detailed health coaching courses. Customer service is a huge part of a business & it makes or breaks a customer.

Highly Highly Recommend

The Health Coach Training Program completely transformed my life. I was always interested in wellness / psychology, and because the program really focuses on multi dimensional health (physical health, emotional health, spiritual health and mental health), it felt right up my alley. The program ultimately showed me how to view myself and future clients as a holistic beings (versus just looking at diet / exercise, etc.) The program was set up really well with a variety of learning materials (from reading to videos) where you got to learn from the best and most knowledgeable leaders in the industry. If you’re in this specifically to become a coach yourself or to build a business, they offered plenty of materials around business & marketing and plenty of opportunities to practice coaching on others. Like anything, you get out of the program what you put into it. It’s all online, so it’s really on you to show up, do the work, figure out what works for you and what doesn’t, etc. But if you actually follow the advice given throughout the program, and you do the practice coaching, you can become a successful coach or just have a life changing experience for yourself (depending on your goals / reasons for enrolling). Because of the Health Coach Training Program, I became a much healthier and happier version of myself, and I also developed a much better understanding of myself and clarify around my life / career path in general. The Health Coach Training Program kickstarted it all for me and I couldn’t recommend this program highly enough.

Thanks for this glowing recommendation, Bernadette! We do agree with you that you get out of it what you put into it--such wise words for this course and all of life! We wish you the best in all your future endeavors using this program in your life and with others--they will be lucky to be your clients, indeed.

I am very thankful for finding this program.

I am very thankful for finding this program. Listening to the various lectures and speakers has been enlightening and informative. The variety of speakers is wonderful and look forward to the rest of the program. I loved my coaching sessions with Dillan and Dianna . I do believe this program would benefit from more live coaching calls, lectures and sessions. It is the one thing that is lacking in the program. The coaching sessions were a way to gain feedback and have conversations with students and staff that was more helpful then just listening. Please add more live coaching sessions and if possible presentations.

Coaching Circle with Dena

Taking part in the coaching circle with Dena has fuelled me with confidence and creativity, going beyond lines and thinking "outside the box" and seeing coaching sessions as spaces of co creation. Dena's sharing of her knowledge and wisdom is truly appreciated. I felt heard, welcomed and everyone had a chance to share which was wonderful. Dena surely guided the session well and didn't let it get to off track and concluded beautifully.

Love this program!

Love this program! Lo recomiendo totalmente :) I had wanted to study HCTP at IIN for a long time, and finally and happily I started doing it! It's more than I expected! Its contents are truly educational but from a real, practical and current place; and it's very well designed, so you can see for yourself through the program how everything is interrelated and interconnected. Likewise, as you progress in the study, we also transform ourselves towards a better version of ourselves, in health and also in Circle of Life issues. It is truly wonderful how, beyond the objective for which we decide to study this program, it leads us to greater well-being and consciousness! Personally, I am happy and super excited to be part of IIN! I totally recommend it :)

Loved the program!

Loved the program!! It was the perfect foundation for me that helped build my successful practice. I especially liked the regular live group calls. Most online nutrition schools do not offer that and you feel alone. But not with IIN, I always felt like I was part of a class, even the online graduation was nice. The layout of the course, all of the different speakers and nutrition theories. Nothing out there compares to what IIN has to offer. I use what I learned everyday in my practice with my clients.

Reply from Institute for Integrative Nutrition2024-02-09

The best decision of my life

I started the program because I wanted to help others get better. At first, I thought I was going to learn about nutrition and then use the knowledge to help people live healthier lives by telling them what to eat. There is so much more to your health than food. In the end, I learned so much about me and finding myself that now I have the missing link to help others. The coaching circles helped tremendously and need to be incorporated in each "semester". This would help with more accountability and answer any questions. Overall, it is a great program for anybody interested in their health.

Personally and professionally beneficial

The Health Coach and Nutrition Training Program is transformative and positively impacted my life in many ways. I took the program during a season where I needed change and to focus on my overall health. I was able to start my own business and worked with clients who were busy professionals seeking balance and overall health improvement - my market based on my own journey. The lessons I learned personally still benefit me all these years later. I am so glad I found the school and continue to connect with the alumni community.

Reply from Institute for Integrative Nutrition2023-10-18

hi Deanna! Thanks for sharing how simple getting started helping others can be--you chose to help people in the same ways you helped yourself. We really appreciate your positive words about your experience and how you benefitted from IIN personally AND professionally.

IIn BIO Individuality The Structure and Wonder of YOU

I've worked in Health & Wellness fields since my preteens. I thought Fred Flintstone & Barney Rubble created Multi Vitamins! Indeed, they tasted like Candy at The Bedrock Quarry. I have practical and clinical experience in the areas of Retail, Marketing, Lab, Team Building, Mgmt., Manufacturing, Fulfillment, Health Coaching, Radio, TV, & Film. In 2022, I called Bastyr University to enroll in their M.S. in Clinical Nutrition program as it became available as a distance learning program. In the interim, I felt led to add a step in my career path to accentuate "Balance" and improve my personal development. I sought to improve Listening Skills, Assimilation, Reformation, & Transformation in light of the Information overload Age. Enter IIN- The Institute for Integrative Nutrition New York NY. Initially, I was intrigued by the visiting faculty consisting of Dr. Mark Heyman ( I have communicated with prior to), Dr. Joh Axe. D.C ( I worked with him and Jordan Rubin at Beyond Organic), & Dr. Oz of Oprah fame. IIN's background as an accredited and certified Health Coach Professional Institute would prepare me to take the NBHWC ( National Board of health & Wellness Coaches) exam. I spoke with Juliet in IIN Student Admissions and was greeted with a welcoming warmth. Her exuberant professionalism felt "right". I enrolled in March 2023 for IIN's accelerated IINHCP program with intent to graduate in October of 2023. I will graduate from CIP on Dec. 5, 2023 to prep NBHWC As a working professional & recipient of a Life Saving Living Donor Kidney Transplant, my incentive was to save $ on my tuition. I "Knew" I was nestled in place when School Founder Joshua Rosenthal MS Ed mentioned that Bio Individuality was the key Component at IIN and The Essential Coaching Skills were tools that led patients and clients to "Transformation & "Reformation" This is what I observed in hundreds of patients over the last two decades. Too much information and very little Transformation. In large part, Rosenthal clarified the murky waters. Understanding the human heart and helping it reach it's innate "Primary Food/Fuel)" was essential to discover the intrinsic motivators that would lead patients and clients to true change. The course work that centered around Career Building, Nutrition Science, Mitochondrial Health, Somatic Healing, Epigenetics, and Frequency healing were entreated like a tributary of brazen stones. I am a True Believer in "Tangibility" in my walk of Faith (developed it over a 14 year trial) , so the Metaphysical and other Mystical Arts were not a topic of interest for me. It did help me understand the mindsets of others and reinforced our keen need for compassion, empathy, understanding and acceptance of others in a non judgmental way. IIN served a "LIFE HUB Central" for me as 2 Book ends of my Life came into view towards my Masters in Clinical Nutrition from Bastyr in the near future. I grew personally, professionally, and my wife Kristen fond of my changes. Mess 2 Message. My LIFE mess (14 years on hemodialysis from mercury toxicity led to end stage renal failure, moving code blue, having multiple surgeries for my dialysis access and eleven bio dental extractions to remove the mercury). This chapter began in 2000 and ended on December 9, 2015 when I received a Life Gift from Laura Workman. I used a myriad of methods and resources to stay health and optimistic during the bookends of this Detour. These details are included in my Autobiography. Many other Health Care Professionals and Rockstar's/Celebrities' share their own testimonials in my Autobiography. (Amazon/Kindle/Direct) My Life was enriched. I returned to work for NGVC natural Grocers as a Health Coach. I received Certifications in Soil Sciences, Homeopathy, & Herbalism at Weber State UT. I recently enjoyed conferences with Dr. Kristi Hughes ND and Dr. Kiran from Microbiome Labs Research. I've authored 2 books including my autobiography "Wannabee Rockstar who finally Found The Rock" published by Dr. Robert Bard O.D as a testimonial and a platform to share my experiences. I refer to anecdotal evidence from what I gleaned from Health care Professionals such as Dr. Dan Clark M.D.(Emory University), Dr. Lee Cowden M.D. (A4M), & Dr. Jordan Rubin ( The Makers Diet/Garden of Life Founder) to impart to my readership. Our Team built this platform on December 12th, 2012. In 2023, we've grown into "1Step2Wellness" We launch our podcast and platform soon. I'm available in 30 minute segments on ROKU T V with "Talk About It TV" (hosts Tanya Holcomb & Brian Moore a former Pro Bull Rider & Concert promoter) We plan to include a "Rockstar 1Step2Wellness" plan to my peers in the professional music community as I am also inducted into several societies and have received awards.

I have loved most of the content but have a few suggestions

I have loved most of the content that I have learned and will definitely use it to further my career as an Integrative Health Coach. I have to agree with a few people who stated that the communication started off great and then by the end it was nearly impossible to get questions answered and talk to someone live. The coaching circles were incredibly helpful because it was live and at the end the Integration Labs were somewhat helpful but gave very general information and feedback but still nice to communicate live with two coaches. I asked a couple of questions on the forums in the Integration Labs that never got answered there. This was not a good place to ask questions or connect with other students. I did appreciate some of the "spiritual" content but felt that the course is very biased toward certain spiritual practices and does not incorporate any Christian values or practices which was a bit disheartening. Besides a couple of speakers sharing their faith briefly I did not connect with most of what was taught at the Spiritual level. Yes we have to be open to different practices so this should also include people being open to Christian values and practices as well. As a Christian to have a psychic teach a session was very against my beliefs and did not even watch that session. And that's ok that was my choice but there was a question on one of the exams about it so I had to guess. All other content was very helpful when looking at our health holistically. I would suggest having someone like Craig Groeschel speak at one of your sessions who is a Pastor and Christian leader but also very holistic in his approach to health and wellness. It would be a great addition to this course.
