Overall a positive experience

Overall a positive experience. The team handled my request well and found some meaningful records. There were a few small delays, but nothing too serious. I’d consider using them again if I need more research done.

I worked with IrishResearchers.com on my citizenship application over about two months. Aisling handled my case and was thorough—she found birth records from a small parish in County Cork that I hadn't come across myself. I would have struggled with the process without her help.

Good service and professional team

Good service and professional team. They helped me uncover records I couldn’t find myself. There was a slight delay at one point, but the final results were clear and useful. I’m satisfied with how it turned out.

It was an average experience for me

It was an average experience for me. The researchers seem knowledgeable and did provide some helpful details about my ancestry. Communication could have been a bit quicker, but I still got value from the service.

I’m happy with the outcome

I’m happy with the outcome. They were able to trace part of my family background and present it in a simple way. The timeline was a little longer than expected, but the quality of work was good.

They shared the actual documents

They shared the actual documents, not just a family tree. That meant a lot to me.

Took a while, but they found my great-grandpa's baptism record. Definitely worth the wait.

I hired IR on two different occasions a few years ago. I needed help on locating the parents of my ggfather. He came over during Ireland's potatoe famine. And later rehired them to locate info on my ggmother's brother and their parents. I was surprised that nothing was found on ggfather. BUT, a surprise was found in locating my ggmother's brother. Research showed he was born in Kansas as his siblings were from Ireland.

Great Job! Thank you so much!

I thought Megan McIntyre did a great job of finding out about my great-great-grandfather Martin Cahill and if he ever came to USA or California from Ireland. I have original deeds to the property that the family owned on Cahill Ridge in San Mateo County, California in the 1880's that name Anthony Cahill (Martin's brother) and Mary Cahill (Anthony's sister) who transferred the property to my great grandfather Laurence Cahill, Sr. Turns out Martin (father of my great grandfather) died in Ireland at age 38 in 1855 and Megan found where his gravesite is. Megan also found where Martin Cahill lived in Ireland, who his parents were, and who he married in Ireland. Maps and coordinates in Ireland were also provided.

It's worth it!!

I have been doning genealogical research for almost 30 years and like many descendants of Irish ancestors, I hit a brick wall when it came to finding Irish records for my ancestors as there names were just too common. By hiring Irish Researchers, I was able to get many of my questions answered with a 54 page report. They also included specifics on unanswered questions. All sources were cited and I was impressed with how creative they were in sleuthing. It was a job well done!!

Knowledgeable Researchers

While we were not able to find the records we were hoping for, the researcher was very thorough and found a lot of interesting information for us. She did a great job and we would use this company again.
