Took a subscription from me without using it…

Took a subscription from me without me using it and wont respond to any correspondance . AVOID - being taken over currently so this could be used as an excuse.

Complete scam

Complete scam. I bought a lifetime deal from them and now that I need the VPN, all their pages after login redirects to a page to port my account to PureVPN where they are asking for my credit card details again and it fails to port. All their support pages redirect to the same page with no luck.

Is it a scam?

I recently bought the 5 year package, because I needed a VPN. so I looked it up online, which ones were the most popular and such. I chose ivacy, because they had a fantastic deal going on, and the 31 day money back guarantee, so even if I didn’t like it, I could just get my money back. HOWEVER… When the deal went through, I didn’t get an option to download anything or create an account, and I tried to contact the costumer support, because my mail wasn’t linked to my purchase even though I had received a receipt. Their live chat doesn’t work. I found 3 different mails, and 2 of them don’t work anymore, and the one, that has seemed to go through, they’re not answering. I am literally wondering if this is a real company, even though people have reviewed it and there are articles about it.

New owners, no care for existing customers

Purchased a lifetime sub over 5 years ago, had to contact support to get it reenabled. Lifetime to them is 5years... recently cannot login as they have new owners forcing users to agree to continue service, stripping my lifetime purchase again and forcing me to pay their yearly fee. No thanks, dodgy as they come. Dont write cheques you cant cash.

I purchased a 60 month plan in 2024 and…

I purchased a 60 month plan in 2024 and paid in full. The VPN website is no longer working as of March 2025 and Ivacy merged with another company so can not reach them. There is no way to reverse the credit card charge for it has been almost a year from paying. Avoid this company.

Very low price

Very low price, I bought it on Dec 2023, a five year plan. At first it was not working, but after some reply with their tech support, it became available. Like a magic, (I'm in China mainland), this VPN works better and better. Though it's strange, but it's fact too. The most beautiful featuer is, this VPN has no traffic limit. So I can use it all day. Sometimes it goes offline, but don't worry, just re-connect.

I purchased a lifetime subscription to Ivacy and about 7 years ago, about 5 years into my subscription, it stopped working. I contacted their support and they replied straight away and sorted the issue. However recently I haven't been able to log in and tried to contact support again but it's been impossible to get them on their chat or raise a ticket and they have not responded by email. I finally managed to resolve my issue quickly by contacting PureVPN, who issued me a 5-year plan, which hopefully will be renewed again in 5 years.

ivacy vpn works . may not be the fastest vpn service around , and may not have a server in every country but it works. works on windows, works on my linux. it has a firefox plugin so no real complaint. tickets were answered. However, they closed their business on Aug 2023 and migrated all users to PureVPN 5 year plan. Good right ? almost. many of Ivacy customers actually bought a lifetime license (for example via stack social web site , black Friday deals and alike) so the migration is kind of a downgrade. PureVPN doesn't have a lifetime plan.

I purchased VPN from ivacyvpn.com because comparing price with purevpn a little cheaper. login didn't work, live chat didn't work, no reply to e-mail. Was thinking it was a scam but after reading a trust pilot review I tried to login at purevpn which worked. I had purchased the port forwarding add-on because I wanted/need port forwarding. PureVPN don't actually offer port forwarding anymore. The additional amount I paid was translated into an additional 3 years of standard subscription. I have no port forwarding and the plan is no good to me. Hopped on to live chat which was answered in a reasonable time. Instead of saying we don't provide a port forwarding service they just kept saying I hadn't purchased it. In the end I requested a refund and was abruptly cut-off. Have gone to Air VPN which works great.

I purchased a lifetime subscription to Ivacy and about 3 years into my subscription, they tried to charge me again. I contacted their support and they replied straight away and sorted the issue. However recently I haven't been able to log in and tried to contact support again but have been totally ignored! Looks like I'll need to purchase a new subscription elsewhere!

This is 100%scam, AVOID!

This is 100% scam. DO NOT ORDER!! I need a VPN which still supports Windows 7 and Windows 8, because I need to frequently use machines with those operating systems for testing purposes. I decided to try Ivacy VPN based on the good reviews, because they claim to support those versions. They still have their public site (Trustpilot does not allow links here but can be easily found with Google), and are happy to take your order. However, after paying YOU CAN NOT log into their membership site to download the program, and YOU CAN NOT contact their helpdesk (chat is never open, no other contact method available). Instead you are forwarded to PureVPN site, and turns out what they sold as Ivacy VPN is instead PureVPN. PureVPN does not work for me (they lack Windows 7 and 8 support, their workaround via OpenVPN does not work either), nor I never wanted to order or use it in the first place. To make matters even worse, PureVPN has 30 days refund period, but they have not refunded my order, instead they seem to try to pass the days via asking meaningless questions and offering useless "guidance". I will be forced to make a complaint to my credit card company about them to get my money back. So this is in effect a double scam.

I have an account

I have an account, and now it's blocked because they want you to pay for an update on a new subscription, I paid until 2028, why should I pay for something I'm not interested in, my subscription should be valid for what I paid, I can not log in. DON'T USE THEIR SERVICES, BEWARE OF THESE GUYS, THEY FRAUD YOU.

IVACY Lifetime Deal Ported to PureVPN

Guys, before leaving Negative Reviews, please contact their customer service. I have done so, and the PureVPN team has renewed my license for the next 5 years without any problem. This is my Ivacy Story: I purchased an Ivacy Lifetime License before 5 years in November 2019. At the time of purchase, the activation was valid for 60 months (5 years). When I contacted customer care, they assured me that by the end of 60 months, if I messaged their customer service, they'd freely renew my license for the next 60 months. My license was going to expire on November 24, 2024. So, I thought of contacting their customer care for the renewal, but, to my shock, I noticed that they've been acquired by PureVPN. I was sure they might not honour the lifetime commitment for Ivacy customers. But, I thought of taking a chance and emailed Ivacy customer service, which then got triggered to PureVPN customer service, and they informed me that my account had been ported to PureVPN and I could reset my password and check. And luckily, my account has been renewed till October 2029. However, I have observed that the speed is a little less compared to Ivacy. Huge shout out to Mr. Oscar from customer service who has helped me in this regard.
