Great experience! Customer support was fantastic!
Poor quality and unwillingness to resolve issues. Online photos are far from what was delivered. Cushions are FLAT. They refuse to do anything other than a return for a 50% refund less shipping.
Kindness. Efficiency. Knowledge. Easy. Quality.
Still haven’t received our delivery as it’s been postponed for three weeks now. This company is owned by LaZBoy and it’s really bad service.
Natasia was fabulous and super helpful! The furniture is high quality!

Hi Kimberly! We are so happy to hear that you had a great experience with us, we hope you are loving your new Joybird piece! Let us know if you have any questions, we're happy to help.
Our kids have fantastic couch from Joybird, they bought it 7 years ago and it’s awesome so we decided to buy one. It is HORRIBLE. Do not buy it. It’s hard and the pillows are so thin my hips hurt when sitting on it. We also saw that we could return it if we didn’t like it, then we realized that it is only 50% return if they decide they want to return the money but you also need to arrange and pay for your own return. After less than 30 days we needed to buy a new couch and give this one away.
We’re sorry that you’re having issues with your items and that you feel they aren’t up to par with the quality they should be. If you can please send photos to https://joybird.com/issues/ that would allow us to better assist you and decipher what the best plan of action is to get the issue resolved.
I purchased the Anton U-Chaise Sectional at the end of 2021 for $4,450, expecting a high-quality, long-lasting piece. Unfortunately, it has been one of the most disappointing furniture purchases I’ve ever made. The issues started early. The fabric began dimpling almost immediately, giving the cushions a worn-out look despite minimal use. The couch doesn’t even stay in place, constantly shifting even though the it sits on a rug. The cushions don’t stay in place either, requiring constant work to slide them back into place. Over time, the seams started to fail, and one cushion fully burst open, leaving cheap stuffing all over my living room. I reached out to customer service, hoping for a reasonable solution. Instead, they offered to sell me a replacement cushion in a different color since my original color had been discontinued. Their other suggestion was a list of repair shops—implying that keeping this couch in decent shape would be an ongoing project. Despite these clear quality issues, they refused to offer a replacement or repair or anything really. For nearly $5,000, I expected a sofa that would hold up well over time, not one that would require repairs within the first couple of years. I have a $900 CB2 couch from 2013 that has been through two international moves and still looks great, yet this much more expensive sectional has deteriorated rapidly. If you’re considering this couch, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The poor construction, lack of durability, and lackluster customer support make this a purchase I deeply regret.
Hi there, our supervisor informed us that they've already been in contact with you regarding this matter. Unfortunately, your cushions can not be replaced and even though fabric and foam are warranted, your order has been out of warranty for 2 years. We regularly add and drop fabrics as well as entire collections from our offerings, and the fabric your sofa was made in has been discontinued so we are unable to source more from the supplier. We're sorry, but there is nothing further we can assist with at this time. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team directly. Thank you.
I bought my $3400.00 couch in 2022. Within 3 months the cushions where showing wear, ie the cushions (not the fabric) was breaking down, so little "pool" where your butt sits would not "pop" back. Customer Service said it was nothing. Contacted the company a year later to still complain and they would do NOTHING. Like my bad. You cannot flip the cushion over because there is only fabric on one side. Cushions do not stay in place. Overall terrible experience
Hi Sue, Unfortunately, your cushions can not be replaced and even though fabric and foam are warranted for a year, your order is currently out of warranty. In regards to the sliding of the cushions, we would like to send over non-slip mats to help with that. Please provide your order info and best address here so we can process them.
Working with Chloe Erickson in the NYC showroom was wonderful. She was very helpful and answered lots of questions patiently. She emailed to remind me of deadlines and was very quick about replying. I look forward to working with her as I select a fabric and finalize my purchases.
We are so glad to hear that Chloe was able to assist you and create a wonderful experience. Let us know if we can be of further assistance, we can't wait to be a part of your home!
Regarding my Briar Sleeper sofa that arrived broken. The store manager came through and was able to bypass the warranty and order me a new sofa and swap it out with my old one. This is instead of having to wait 6-8 for a huge 90lb sleeping mechanism to arrive, store it in my apt, wait for a repair appointment, and then wait again to schedule the pick up of the broken mechanism.
We are so glad to hear that the store manager of your closest showroom was able to resolve this for you. We thank you for your patience and hope you love your new sofa once it arrives.
Do not shop here! It's a scam. We tried to buy a sofa which came from their warehouse (they claimed it was "custom made" even though it was a standard model off their website and took all of a week). When it didn't fit through our door, they charged a $1600 "restocking fee" to put it back in the warehouse and sell it again to the next sucker! Don't say you weren't warned!
We're sorry to hear that you feel this way. We disclaim our cancellation fees at the time of checkout so that our customers are fully aware of our policies. At this time we are not able to waive any fees as there are no defects on the product. Please connect with our support team directly if you have any further questions. Thank you.
I loved JoyBird at first, but after a year of owning my furniture, I can't give a confident review. One of my pieces is holding up great, but another is falling apart at the seams. JoyBird's warranty is very deceptive and won't cover the damages. Customer support did not address my concerns and was very dismissive. I can't recommend JoyBird due to the terrible customer service and deceptive marketing.
Hi G, we’re sorry to hear that you’re having a negative experience with Joybird. Please send us your order number so we can look into this for you. Thank you for your patience.
I ordered a couch they said 2 months until I get it...ok fine I paid 2k. Now 2 months later it's done but 3 hours away in a warehouse and they said i have to wait 6 more weeks. They blame it on the carrier which is simply not true they have a low paying contract so customers have to wait additional 2 months after they take your money ! They hung up on me how rude. Very unprofessional. Do not purchase joybird.
Hey Edward, We're sorry to hear you had a less than pleasant experience. Please email our team, we'd love to make it up to you!
The delivery process is a nightmare. The Joybird customer service says they can't contact the delivery company and when you call the delivery company, they say to contact Joybird. So if there are any issues with your delivery, you are screwed
We are sorry for all the shipping-related issues you have encountered with your order. The shipping company is the in-person representation of Joybird, and as such, any bad experiences that you have with the carrier directly reflect on us. We do understand how frustrating it is to spend money on something and receive little to no communication about its status or whereabouts, we are working on a better system with our carriers to make sure issues like this don’t arise again. If there is anything that we can do to help, please contact our customer service team so we can turn this experience around.
Worst quality ever- $6,000 down the drain and AWFUL customer Service
Hey Jennifer, We're sorry to hear you had a less than pleasant experience. Please feel free to email our team at joybird.com/contact-us We'd love to make it up to you!
In my opinion, the company's 50% restocking fee is a major red flag of an unethical company. Additionally, the delivery carrier they partner with proved to be extremely difficult to work with. To make matters worse, Joybird's customer service seemed virtually nonexistent. I waited days for a response from the manager, Breeana, who was ultimately rude and dismissive. It felt like their primary concern was retaining the 50% restocking fee, which in my case amounted to over $1,000.
Hey Brett, We're sorry to hear you had a less than pleasant experience with our online team. Please send us a DM with your order info, we'd like to connect you with a supervisor ASAP.
I’m very disappointed in the quality of my Haine modular sectional. It is very uncomfortable. I reached out via email to Joybird shortly after my couch arrived to request more stuffing. They emailed me back saying it just needs to be “broken in”. A year later and the couch was even more uncomfortable. It was to the point my guests were commenting on it. I emailed the company again and never received a response. I’m now 3 years into ownership and am very disappointed given I paid nearly $3K for this sofa.
Hello Danielle, we are very sorry to hear about this experience and how disappointed you are with your sofa. We assure you we will take your feedback into consideration for future experiences and improvement of our products. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our online team.
So disappointed. The sofa is fine - too firm for our taste but that's prference - however the process was miserable. The product was on sale, they emailed me relentlessly about the sale ending so I got suckered into paying for the sofa before even choosing color/fabric, etc. Three days later the price PLUMMETED. A little lower I could live with, but this was ridiculous (approx. $1,000). I hadn't picked fabric or color, nothing was in production, not even a week had passed, and they would not even split the difference. Way to make a customer feel cheated. They then sent the delivery company a week early--might have been a good thing, but we were out of town. The delivery company said were returning it because they could not wait 7 days (to the date originally promised). After MANY phone calls wit hte delivery company (which Joybird refused to assist with) we finally worked it out/ The delivery team complained nonstop about the stairs (I tried to look everywhere to make sure two flights wouldn't be a problem but couldn't find any exceptions--one tried to tell us they were leaving it outside but the other came through), but then they GOUGED our 100 year old, pristine wood floors without so much as an oops. When I pointed out, one looked embarrassed but the other raised his eyebrow and said "well, we got it up here". Never again will I do business with this company because I ordered a $3,000 sofa on another website that is prettier, more comfortable and comparable quality (though admittedly no storage) for $2,000 less and the experience was excellent every step of the way, including taking responsibility for helping to coordinate with the third party delivery company. Huge disappointment whenI try so hard to buy American-made and the quality is good, but not spectacular.
We are very sorry to hear about your experience, this is not at all the way we wanted things to go for you and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and frustration this may have caused. We would like to connect you with our support team so they can assist with this. Please send us an email at your earliest convenience.
