Grade B for use with three-legged dog

This harness works fairly well for my three-legged dog with a missing front leg, but required a splitter to snap onto the side hooks to keep it stabilized. These splitters are available at Amazon for a small price.

Fits Snugly

I like the snug fit of the Joyride harness for our frisky mini golden doodle. It also relieves pressure on his esophagus by transferring pressure to his chest. He still likes to pull, even when the leash is attached to one of the side rings, but I think that will get better with practice.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your mini Goldendoodle! 🐾 We’re so glad to hear the snug fit is keeping him comfortable and relieving pressure from his neck. Pulling can definitely take some practice to improve, but it sounds like you’re on the right track using the side rings. Wishing you and your doodle many joyful (and calmer!) walks ahead! 💜

This harness is very high quality, BUT

This harness is very high quality and heavy duty, easy to use, HOWEVER, our dog has figured out if he stretches, he can back right out of it. It's perfect when the dogs are walking forward, but not so good for our escape artist. After three episodes of running through the streets trying to rescue our dog, sorry to say, this harness is being replaced.

Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience with us. We’re so sorry to hear about the challenges you’ve faced with your clever pup slipping out of the harness. As fellow dog lovers and owners, your dog’s safety is incredibly important to us, and we want to help. If your dog was able to slip out, we highly recommend reviewing this blog for essential pro-tips to ensure the best fit: Avoiding the Slip – Joyride Harness Customer Testimonials. Proper fit is key, and sometimes it’s not just about tightness but also the strap placement based on your dog’s individual shape. One minor adjustment can make a significant difference, so we suggest testing a few settings in a safe area to find what works best for your escape artist. While we cannot guarantee the harness is completely “Houdini-proof” (some pups are just too clever!), it should be very secure when properly adjusted. For added peace of mind, you might also consider using a "safety strap" or "safety cord" that attaches to a collar and leash as a backup precaution for those extra wriggly pups. Thank you again for your feedback and for trying our harness. Please feel free to reach out to our team if you need assistance with adjustments or would like to discuss other options—we’re here to help! Best regards,
