A breath of fresh air in CNC sales – Mike Basham
As the owner of Indiana Machining Solutions, finding machinery sales professionals who actually deliver on their promises is critical. Having dealt with reps from other companies where the process from deal to delivery was frustrating or less than ideal. Working with Mike Basham at KD Capital Equipment was a total breath of fresh air.
From my initial inquiry, Mike moved with incredible speed and located me a better unit. We negotiated a great deal—including solid transport logistics—and had the machine loaded on a truck bound for our shop in practically no time.
The process was so fast and smooth that I actually called him back thinking I must have missed a step on my end, only to realize everything was completly handled and good to go!
What stands out most is Mike's responsiveness and industry network knowledge. Any technical or logistical question I had was answered immediately, and if he didn't have the detail on hand, he knew exactly who to call and got it done!
He is already actively hunting down additional machinery for our shop, and he has officially earned all of my future CNC business.
Efficient, knowledgeable, and reliable from start to finish. Highly recommended!

10/10 customer service - Kirby was amazing to work with
This was my first time buying used equipment, do did not know what to expect. Nick Kirby was extremely professional, helped coach me and my team through the process, and was extremely fast to respond to both text, email and calls. We submitted a request for the seller to send us a video of them cutting out one of our pieces on the machine to verify it worked, and that was a great confirmation for us to validate all the pictures. We will absolutely be buying from them again.

Conscientious service from a team that cares...
We purchased our latest machine from KD Machinery. I can't honestly say the process was perfect. But you can tell a lot about a company by how they respond to challenges/adversity.
What we found was a team who highly values their clients and does the right thing no matter the cost.

Outstanding Experience Selling My CNC Through KD Machinery
I had an excellent experience working with Nick Kirby and the team at KD Machinery. I contacted them to help sell my 2022 ShopSabre IS408 CNC router, and from start to finish Nick was professional, responsive, and easy to work with.
He kept me informed throughout the entire process, answered every question I had, and made what could have been a complicated transaction remarkably straightforward. He found a qualified buyer quickly, coordinated the sale, handled the paperwork, and stayed in communication every step of the way.
What impressed me most was that Nick genuinely worked to make the transaction fair for both the buyer and me. When additional equipment and accessories came up after we had already agreed on the purchase, he advocated on my behalf and helped negotiate a fair resolution rather than simply expecting me to include everything at no cost.
The logistics were also handled well. Coordination with the freight carrier was smooth, payment was wired promptly, and the overall process was organized and professional.
Selling a shop full of equipment was a significant life event for me, and Nick treated me with respect throughout the process. I would not hesitate to work with KD Machinery again, and I highly recommend Nick Kirby to anyone looking to buy or sell industrial woodworking or CNC equipment.

I would highly recommend KD Machinery when looking for a used piece of equipment. I had found a machine and was working a deal with another dealer. After weeks of efforts the deal was ready to close, but this dealer ended up losing the deal because he was taking too much off the top. Frustrated, I began my search that night for another machine.
Like a fairy godmother coming to you in a time of need, Blake Spiekerman called me the next day seeing if he could help with finding my next machine.
