Very disappointing customer service experience. I contacted KidsCasting immediately after an automatic renewal and explained that I was experiencing financial hardship. I was not requesting refunds for previous years—only a refund for the charge processed that same day for a service my family has never used. Despite taking the time to explain my circumstances, every response simply repeated the company’s policy. I did not feel that my individual situation was genuinely reviewed or that my concerns were meaningfully considered. Policies are important, but great companies also demonstrate empathy and reasonable flexibility when customers face unexpected hardships. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with KidsCasting. If you are considering subscribing, please make sure you fully understand the automatic renewal process and be aware that, based on my experience, you may not receive flexibility or individualized consideration if your circumstances change. I hope KidsCasting uses feedback like this to improve how it supports customers facing difficult situations. Building trust requires not only clear policies but also compassion and understanding when customers reach out for help.

We understand that your request was made during a difficult financial situation, and we sincerely regret that the outcome was not what you had hoped for. After reviewing your case, our team acted in accordance with the Terms of Use agreed to at registration, including the automatic renewal terms. Because the renewal had already been processed, we were unable to issue a refund outside of those agreed-upon terms. That said, we did want to support you in a way that preserved the value of your membership. As an alternative, we offered a complimentary 12-month KidsCasting Guarantee Extension and the option to place the subscription on hold. You accepted the extension, and after your later request, we also placed your account on hold so your remaining time, including the complimentary extension, can be used whenever you are ready to return. We also confirmed in writing that future auto-renewal was canceled and that no additional charges would be made while the account remains on hold. We understand this was not your preferred resolution, and we’re sorry we were unable to provide the exception you requested. We would still like to assist you further and see if there are any additional options or solutions we can offer. Please reply to our latest email with the best time for a call, and our team will be happy to speak with you directly. The site definitely has lots of opportunities listed. The search function is not great. It routinely lists things that are outside of the requested criteria. You can't search for new opportunities, so you end up looking at things you've seen before. The site also does not keep track of what has been applied to and you can't save and categorize opportunities.
