I love Kimp
I love Kimp! Their designs are the best by far. I understand that this is a graphics team, and sometimes the designer that I usually work with is not available, so we have to re-do designs. But they are legit the best suite out there...better than DesignPickle, and fastest turnarounds and better pricing

Great support, fast turnaround and helpful PM
I signed up for Kimp’s trial to offload some design work from my agency, and it’s been a great help so far. I’ve continued with the 50% off subscription for two months to explore it further. One feature I really value is being able to download working files for every revision, super useful, especially with tight client timelines. Requests are generally completed within one working day. My project manager, Hilmiya, has been very responsive and helpful, even when there are sudden changes in direction. Really appreciate the flexibility and support!

Thousands of digital assets later — Kimp is still my go-to for design

I’ve been a happy client of Kimp since April 2022. Before working with Kimp, I was intensely focused on growing our We Get Around Network (WGAN) community through content — but admittedly, our brand identity and design needed help. Our logo, website banners, and visual assets lacked the polish I knew we needed to reach the next level.
Kimp changed all that.
From day one, the experience was seamless. I appreciated how Kimp uses Trello-like tools for project management, Loom for quick video feedback, and Google Docs for collaboration — making the workflow highly efficient and asynchronous, which fits perfectly with my style of working. I never had to worry about freelancer bottlenecks like vacations or slowdowns. Kimp provided a consistent team and a dedicated project manager who quickly understood my aesthetic preferences. A plus is that our Kimp project manager, Kenny, has been my go-to from day one.
Since partnering with Kimp, they’ve created thousands of digital assets for us, including a complete rebrand of the We Get Around Network, our WGAN-TV Podcast, eBooks, and custom web banners for our clients (and potential clients). They even developed a WGAN Style Guide, which streamlined ongoing design projects and helps when either I or Kimp needs to refer to it. Thanks to Kimp, our branding now looks professional, polished, and consistent across every platform — and yes, friends and family have stopped calling "our baby" ugly!
Beyond the design quality, what I value most is the reliability and speed. Around two designs per day, every day, without missing a beat. The value we’ve gotten for the flat monthly fee is outstanding, especially compared to hiring freelance designers one-off.
If you're considering Kimp, my advice is simple: if you love efficient, asynchronous communication and want to scale your design output without sacrificing quality, Kimp is the perfect fit. And be patient — it takes about a month for the team to fully adopt your aesthetic. Once they do, the results speak for themselves.

They've been fantastic
We've been using Kimp for a month now, and we really, really rate them. From communication to delivery, timings, and quality of work, they've been fantastic.
We've tried several other unlimited design services in the past, but they often slow everything down—poor communication and long turnaround times mean you barely get anything done. Kimp, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. They're on it every single day, consistently delivering projects and responding to feedback efficiently.
So far, they've exceeded our expectations, and if this continues, we couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Unnecessarily Difficult & Untrustworthy – Avoid
Title: Misleading, Time-Wasting, and Unreliable – Avoid
I tried Kimp’s design service expecting a professional experience, but it was nothing short of frustrating and misleading. They initially stated they would provide a Figma file for review, but once the work was done, they suddenly refused to share it, hiding behind their Terms & Conditions. How can a trial be effective if you’re blocked from fully testing the workflow? It felt like a bait-and-switch.
Even worse, they only divulged a critical limitation at the very end of my trial—their designers only work 2.5 hours per day on your designs. How can they possibly accomplish any reasonable work in that amount of time? This was never made clear upfront, which makes me question their transparency.
I was already using Growmodo and decided to give Kimp a test because their pricing was lower. But as the saying goes, if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. The experience with Kimp was frustrating, inefficient, and ultimately a waste of time.
Fortunately, there are better alternatives. Growmodo has been fantastic—seamless service, a professional team, and high-quality work delivered without all the unnecessary roadblocks and hidden limitations. If you’re looking for a truly reliable design service, I highly recommend Growmodo instead.
Save yourself the hassle and look for a design service that actually values transparency, efficiency, and client experience. Kimp is not it.

Hey Josh, we appreciate you testing Kimp out with a free trial. And we’re so sorry you didn’t have the typical experience of the service.
While a team member has since had a call with you to discuss your experience, shared the Figma file with you, and received your feedback re: liking the design, for the benefit of others reading your review we’ll address the points you’ve raised here:
During the free trial period that Kimp offers, we share designs in non-editable formats so that prospective clients can assess the design style and decide whether they would like to subscribe to the service, at which point they receive source files for all the designs that have been completed for them.
The reason that we take this approach is that free trials are meant to be a risk-free opportunity for potential clients to test out the service, since many prospective clients haven’t used a flat-fee design service and aren’t sure of what to expect.
But we get quite a few individuals looking to take advantage of the trial and get designs done for free, and so we limit providing source files to those who subscribe to the service.
Unfortunately you weren’t available for an onboarding call, which is typically the touchpoint during which we discuss the workflow in detail with clients. After trying unsuccessfully to reach you for an onboarding call, one of our team members followed up with an email outlining our workflow on the 3rd day of your 7 day trial.
We do appreciate that by this point you didn’t have sufficient clarity from your assigned design team i.e. they indicated that the designs would be done in Figma but they did not elaborate on the format you would receive to review the design, and it was difficult to assess the service based on this as it felt like you were receiving information in ineffective ways, a couple days into the process.
With regards to the comparisons drawn to Growmodo:
1) Our scopes of service are quite different as we don’t include development work, and design using specific software (i.e. Photoshop, Figma, After Effects and/or Canva based on the client’s preference). For those who require dev and design work, including the option to create designs in no-code tools, Gromodo is a great option.
For others who require design work alone, Kimp is a highly-effective solution, as seen across our reviews.
2) Our free trial does come with some limitations, which aren’t indicative of the service provided to subscribers.
All that said, we appreciated the feedback and the opportunity to discuss your experience with you so that we could assess where we can improve communication on our end.
And as we haven’t heard back after sharing the Figma file with you to review with your team, we’ll assume that it didn’t make sense to move forward.
