The price they advertise on the website is not worth it for what you get despite the fact I have received a 50% off promotion when I initially paid for my KodeKloud STANDARD plan.
The courses are fine and you can learn a lot especially if you want to point your career towards DevOps. Mumshad is a great lecturer and his way of teaching is easy to follow.
On the other hand, hands-on labs are perhaps the biggest disadvantage of KodeKloud's offer. For instance, when you open new tabs it is not uncommon to end up receiving no connection in return. Moreover, all labs are choppy and usually take too much time to load. The description of the tasks could be quite confusing and sometimes you will play mind games just trying to figure out what needs to be done. Also, I have to mention periodical time-outs for labs and the fact that your tasks are mysteriously shown as "failed" even though you managed to do everything that was hinted for the task. They need to do a big rework on their labs including descriptions and allowing multiple lab sessions to stay open (e.g. for different course lessons).
KodeKloud support is not as proactive as they present itself. I am sending regular feedback and suggestions for improving the labs but they have answered only few of my previous messages sent to them. There is no feedback culture when it comes to this particular point.

Although your courses are nice. Your customer service is not good. My money pening from a long time. Your support team told that its with you. Instead of resolving issue you are taking forever to reply. Following now from 5 days. Got an solution from your cutomer care after that I replied with my opstion. Still no answer in that. Labs Issue:
Labs are loading for me but cursor is not available/visible in the terminal. Due to which I cannot write any command.

In some cases, windows users are ignored and in similiar way, certain things are missed for more specific scenarios

Woud be great if the price was localized, like for example, YouTube premium. You have one price for people sign in from United States and you have one price real lower for people sign in from Argentina.

I have had the Kodekloud subscription for a few months now. Mumshad and team are one of the best there is when it comes to Kubernetes courses. Bang on, on the concepts. Creative teaching style and hands on labs are superb. I have used the membership for CKS. The only reason I am taking a star away from the team is because of rest of the courses. They simply do not match up with my expectations.
I have gone thru the Docker Certified Associate course and found that the Course material shared is not the same as what has been presented especially the Kubernetes session. I have spent my time of 5 months completing the course but found so many issues. At the time of the revision, I found the entire Kubernetes section is not available in the course material but it was presented. Moreover, the course link shows the Docker link but actually, it should show Mirantis links. Some of the links are not working. The course is not fully updated. I have revised it two times but I could not clear the exam. Now I am preparing with other resources.
Very good, just some criticism
- On the lighting labs and exam mock "deployment isn't well deployed" ... OK but what is good what is wrong in the deployment ?
- In game of pod, it is frustrating to see that there is 9 building to restore and ... only repair 4 of them 😥
For the rest, alternate theory and practice is very good, exercise are very interesting and have hints during exercises are so cool keep going 👍 😎
I think the animations kind of overwhelm me at times. I don't come from a CS background but want to have foundational knowledge in all tools related to DevOps. Also my sincere request would be to provide a summary of important concepts to reinforce understanding in a pdf (downloadable) and provide a transcript of the same. I want to solve a variety of problems in each unit
If the level of difficulty is similar to the CKA exam, it will be very helpful.
The explanations and the labs are really good. They prepare you very well for CKA and CKAD. They have mock exams and the Game of Pods is amazing. I passed with 100/100 score. I don't give the 5 starts because sometimes the labs have some minor technical issues.
