I loved my experience in AIDA

I loved my experience in AIDA! There is so much noise out there in the L&D world about how to be an effective L&D practitioner, and AIDA has boiled all of that down into what are truly the best practices that you need to be successful as an ID. Not only that, no matter where you turn in AIDA, there is always someone there to support you. There are times when you feel lost, inadequate, confused, frustrated, and so much more, but if you reach out and ask for help in this program you will receive it. I can confidently say that AIDA helped me land my job in ID and helped me know what to expect when I stepped into this new career. I can't be more thankful for the leaders and members of this program. AIDA is amazing and anyone interested in joining should 1000% do so!

The amount of support and tools that this program gives you in 9 short months is invaluable! If you want to break into Instructional Design, this is the most direct way! You become part of a network that will continue to support you even after you begin your new career.

Transitioned Teacher

When I decided to leave teaching for a career in instructional design, I chose AIDA because it seemed like the most comprehensive instructional design certification available, and it has not disappointed. I start my first instructional design role in a couple weeks, less than a year after making this decision. AIDA has taught me the skills necessary to be a great ID, and the community and Career Services support are invaluable. I could not ask for more!

AWESOME PROGRAM! WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I looked around at several ways to accomplish my goal of transitioning from teaching to ID. I am 100% satisfied with the choice I made in going with AIDA (Applied Instructional Design Academy). I may have started with the word Applied. As a teacher, I didn't want my learners to just be able to recite content, I needed them to be able to use it. AIDA provided a well-structured, organized approach to learning A LOT of information and then afforded an opportunity to USE all of it as they guided me to design and develop samples for my portfolio. I can show a potential employer or client what I can do. When I interviewed, the recruiter asked me if I had done design work for a client. Beyond the course, the support is beyond compare. As a result of AIDA, I have so many people in my network. I can reach out to them for ideas, help, support, and encouragement and they can do the same with me. I worked closely with a few people in my Pod. Hands down the best thing. Without that smaller group of people, I might have felt alone when things got tough. We met with each other and our success advisor every other week for 6 months of the program. We liked each other so much, a core group of us are meeting on our own every other week and hope to do so for a long time to come. Is it expensive? Yeah...it is but if you are thinking of making a change to ID, this is money WELL SPENT! I have a job three months after finishing the program You are worth this!

The Applied Instructional Design…

The Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA) has been an incredibly supportive and well-organized training program that provided me with a clear pathway to success in instructional design. The academy’s comprehensive curriculum and hands-on projects allowed me to deepen my understanding of key concepts like the ADDIE model, adult learning principles, and eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise. Through AIDA, I gained invaluable skills and confidence, equipping me with the skills I need to create learning experiences that drive real-world results.

Amazing Opportunity

I was given a scholarship to the company for the AIDA program. I never knew how life changing this program is. The program was set up to make it easy to navigate. The company sets it up to give you all the support you need so you aren’t alone through the process and they are there to answer questions. I am just starting into my new role after completing the program and feel prepared to start in my new job in a few months. I can’t say thank you enough for the opportunity Jill and her team have given me in another path and another set of skills I am able to use and take my career to another level.

Learning Strategy & Design aka AIDA

Learning Strategy & Design, aka AIDA, was amazing in the Instructional Design content, support, mentors, co-horts, and frequent co-working sessions. I would not have the advanced skills or the job I have without their fantastic support. This program for Instructional Design is the reason I am as successful as I have been.

Literal life-changing program

This all in one comprehensive program is the real deal. After participating in the jumpstart workshop and identifying my interest in instructional design, I thought to myself, is this for real? Am I about to spend money on a program to help me transition out of the classroom? Honestly, I am so happy that I did! I am in a completely different professional environment now and I am excited about work. The courses are self paced and walk you through what you need to know, step by step. And what's even better? You have mentor feedback the entire program. You have so many resources at your fingertips to help you really grasp all components of instructional design. I could not recommend this program enough. However, I will say, when it comes time to job search and interview - this is no joke! You need to put in the work to apply and interview. You can't just apply to a few jobs and expect to get one. The job search can take months and there can be many interviews - but all of this experience helps you to find a role that best suits you and your needs as a new instructional designer

Support and Dedication

This program truly wants to help its members achieve employment in the field of instructional design. They are constantly looking for ways to improve their program. They value input and suggestions unlike any other educational program with which I have been engaged. The level of support is unparalleled, both in terms of technical guidance and mental/emotional support. I began this program knowing absolutely nothing about instructional design and walked away with paid ID work and the confidence to perform my duties well. I highly recommend AIDA to anyone looking to break into this field!

Single Mom & Educator's Perspective

As a single mom of 3 and a teacher, I decided to invest in myself. AIDA's program, mentorship, guidance, coaching calls, feedback, etc...were invaluable. It was a big investment and I'm happy to say that at the end of the 9 month program, I have accepted a position paying $23,000 more than my teaching salary. I could not have transitioned from education into Instructional Design without the support! Invest in yourself--it's so worth it!!!

Crossing the Bridge with AIDA

AIDA provided me with an education on the corporate instructional design process and how to transition from the field of behavior analysis and into the field of instructional design. They included all of the steps in the process-not just how to use the software to create learning materials. Working as an instructional designer requires much more than that and I feel confident that they covered everything while offering continuous support as I crossed the bridge from one field to another.

The Perfect Program for Me

I had no idea what I was fully getting into as a former educator transitioning to ID, but AIDA made the process easy. Everyone at every stage is encouraging. The course teaches you everything you need to learn the skills and build a strong portfolio to get you on the right path. I hesitated to join initially because the cost felt incredibly high to someone with limited income, but it was worth every penny. My favorite aspect was the coaching calls. Anyone in the program had access to professional IDs in the field who would provide guidance and feedback both in the form of work review and video check ins. When I ran into issues that I couldn't figure out on my own, coaching calls and the facebook group were unbelievably helpful.

Received more than I expected

I know there are many opinions about "paying for help", but I don't regret my decision to join AIDA. Not only did I learn the foundation to ID and the software used, I have developed some amazing relationships !!! I can definitely say, what effort you put into the program matters, so your future is literally in your own hands.

5/5 Recommend

I recently completed Applied Instructional Design Academy and couldn’t be happier with the results. The course provided not only a solid foundation in instructional design but also personalized guidance and practical resources that were crucial for my success. Thanks to their support, I secured a job in the field before the end of the 9-month program. I highly recommend this program to anyone serious about transitioning into instructional design.

I was stuck in a teaching career that I…

I was stuck in a teaching career that I hated, until I saw an ad for AIDA on Facebook. I took a leap and jumped in. The program is truly amazing! AIDA is a comprehensive program teaching all of the ins and outs of how to be an instructional designer. They provide so much support in so many ways. It took me a while to find a job after graduating, but I know it's because my attention was divided. But I finally got an offer for my dream job yesterday! I will be a paid ID, working from home and my new team is AMAZING!
