I contacted McKennon Law Group at a time when I felt hopeless, helpless, and defeated. I was chronically ill, and my insurer had terminated my long-term disability benefits - without warning - on Christmas Eve. In addition to the emotional insult, this put my family in a desperate financial position. I would very highly recommend the McKennon Law Group to anyone who asked.
I have been disabled for almost 18 years, suddenly I received a notice from my insurance company that I owed a large amount of money as back pay for an offset. My case was an ERISA case and hired McKennon Law Group to represent me to dispute the claim of back pay. After calling law firms around the country, McKennon Law was the only firm that would take my case. I am in Arizona and the firm is in California, so I was not able to meet with them in person, but still received a level of service that is beyond compare. I was promptly kept up to date throughout the entire process and in a very professional manner by everyone that was involved in the case. At every level, I was thoroughly informed and given explanations in a way that I could understand because I am not an attorney. I understood what was happening in each step and copied on all correspondence and given a chance to read the correspondence and give final approval. If I had questions, they were all answered in a timely manner and the firm made themselves available to discuss any questions over the phone as well. It was obvious to me that the McKennon Law Group worked diligently and did not overlook any detail in their correspondence. The attorneys were all extremely knowledgeable and cared about me on a personal level and wanted to help. Everyone knows that attorneys are expensive, but I have to say that the money was well spent and well worth the cost. If there is a chance your case can be won, McKennon Law Group will find a way. I am incredibly thankful for McKennon Law Group. I was unable to work after being diagnosed with a rare illness that caused ongoing complications as well as debilitating side effects from the treatment. I was denied disability benefits initially and felt overwhelmed by the appeal process. I highly recommend McKennon Law Group. Bob and Nick provided excellent services, and were very committed to my case. My disability benefits were denied. My medical condition was debilitating and continued to worsen. I became disabled with a series of severe physical problems. I initially started to pursue my claim on my own but quickly realized that such an attempt would fail and hired McKennon Law Group. Thanks to Bob and Nick my disability insurance claim was approved. In denying the claim, Sedgwick completely ignored the reports of my doctors and nurses. McKennon Law Group convinced the insurer to reinstate my benefits without resorting to litigation. Their great work turned Sedgwick insurance carrier around and they reinstated my benefits. I am now receiving my benefits and can focus on getting the treatment I need to recover from my disabling conditions. I cannot thank them enough – they are the best!

I would like to thank Robert McKennon Law Group, for handling my long term disability benefits claim. After working for Kaiser Permanente for over 19 years, I wasn’t able to continue working due to lower back and foot pain. I wanted to continue working until retirement age, but I wasn't successful. McKennon Law Group PC is outstanding. Robert McKennon and Joe McMillen of McKennon Law Group won my long-term disability matter against Hartford, one of the largest insurers in the world. The firm submitted a top-notch ERISA written appeal and worked with my neurologist to refute Hartford’s medical consultant’s opinion. Hartford ultimately agreed to overturn my claim denial. Insurance vs Me
When you take out insurance you have this idea that you will be OK when the bad stuff happens. Well the bad stuff happened and then we were faced with fighting with the insurance who have a whole lot more experience in the litigation arena. Bob and Ryan took care of everything for us and kept us in the loop the whole way. We ended up settling for far less than they should have paid but we have a small nest egg to help with the ongoing costs. Thank you Bob and Ryan -- without you we would have gotten nothing!
