Another Con.

I paid for 6 months so I get a better deal. I have had no response the site is a scam. The reviews for 5 stars are fake check them out yourself.

I signed up for Meetville after receiving several messages and likes before becoming a paid member, which felt encouraging. However, after subscribing, I received no responses from anyone. Reading reviews later, I discovered this seems to be a common experience — many users report lots of activity before payment, and nothing afterward. I noticed references to potential matches were misgendered - referring to women, when I am interested in dating men. The cancellation process was also extremely difficult. The “Turn Off” button on the website and app froze and didn’t work, forcing me to email support multiple times. Thankfully, support eventually confirmed my auto-renewal was canceled, but the process was unnecessarily frustrating and confusing. Overall, my experience was very disappointing. The site feels misleading and poorly managed, and I would not recommend it.

This is absolutley fake, i got so many messages before i even put a picture up, then i put a picture up , and got likes and messages, and i bought the subscription even after reading it was fake. And i can confirm it 100 percent a scam. Not 1 single message or like after i paid. All the messages i got before accounts dead. If you paid, then make sure you cancel the automated payment , even when i said i didnt want automated payment they still set it up. I used paypal and cancelled it straight away. But on the bright side ive got 1 month access to a dead site lol.

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage. All fake. Can't do a single thing without paying. The you're in the hands of scammers. Fake bot messages constantly. Copied profiles from other sites. Save the hassle and don't even bother with this garbage

Using fake profiles to lure users into purchasing a subscription

Immediately after signing up for Meetville, I hadn't even fully completed my profile bio before receiving several messages from different users that I never saw when swiping. In order to send anyone a message or reply to one, you have to purchase a subscription. When I couldn't even see who liked me without paying, I deleted my account, but later decided to try again and be more specific in my bio, by requesting that anyone who was intrested should message me with their contact information. Once again before completing my bio, I received the same exact messages from the same exact people, in the same exact order that I receive them the first time I signed up. It was clear to see that fake profiles were being used in attempts to lure me into purchasing their overpriced subscription. Don't waste your time.

Total waste of time and money

Total waste of time and money. Signed up got people leaving messages fairly quickly. Reply back to them with no response back. Once my month is up not rejoining

Pure fake and maybe back in 2010 people were real, but 2025 it’s just BOT driven fake and any chats are not from real people. No one is listed as being “online” but a % as “recently online” BUT those people never sign off or go active. In other words, 100% fake I know 1 woman on this site and she told me the last time she was on the site was 2014, but it shows she was recently online (obviously recently online for 24 hrs a day/ 7 days a week for the past 11 years! Right ! We are not stupid!

Most fraudulent dating site I’ve encountered

Ok, so I signed up with one pic and basic info. Within two hours, I received exactly 24 messages. Not like, actual words. Now any guy who’s been on a dating site knows that most women do not initiate contact and if they do, it is a like, not a message. Furthermore, all of these women were attractive. Now I’m no ugly dude, but 24 messages? Most saying the like my profile. My very very limited profile that is. So, I decided to further investigate these profiles. I used a reverse image search and not one woman was identified. I then searched by their name and stated location in Facebook. Surely, I would find one woman, right. ZERO!! Not one. Now it is pretty easy to find someone with very little info, particularly on Facebook. Needless to say, this site is completely illegitimate. Filled with bots and fake profiles. I have been on all of the top sites and have unfortunately learned all the tell tale signs of a BS profile and website. So, guys, do yourself a favor, if you must resort to online dating, go with a more reputable site. They all have their share of crap women and scam artists. But this particular site, took the cake. Stay far away. Do not even bother uploading a picture.

Don't use! Very misleading and expensive hidden fees. Scam site!

Scam site. Wasted a lot of time making an account and almost wasted a lot of money. So notorious that even my bank knows how bad it is (thank heavens!). This experience has damaged my trust and confidence, and made me think twice about beginning to date. Any reply to this message by Meetville is not to be trusted, and whoever wrote it is a slimy bastard because they do bad work for terrible people who take advantage of others when they are emotionally vulnerable.

I would never ever recommend this site, all you're looking for is money outside of a click on like you're screwed you can't reply to anybody unless you pay up front. I get it these sites are all about making money but if you can't allow people to at least start a conversation before you want their wallet you should be ashamed and shut

SCAM, FAKE, AVOID! Very active with likes and messages when you first browse the site as a new profile that is unable to respond to any alleged messages, but as soon as you join (paid 3 month membership) you hear NOTHING!. No likes, no response from other members. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS SCAM SITE!. It claims the accounts are active but there is no activity from any member. The sites own search engine doesn't even work properly in finding suitable matching profiles. SCAM!.

Well when I first joined I received six messages after I joined I answered all the messages and this is day three and I haven't heard back from one person and the messages I've sent to other people I have not heard back so it doesn't look good how in the first 5 minutes you get messages and then when you answer them nothing no replies so this doesn't look like it's going to be a good sight at all soon as they got the money everything stopped

Fraud and scam

100% fraudulent application they use fake profiles to make you pay for membership and then no one talks to you. By far a scam, don't waste your time because this is a real fraud.

Not sure about meetville. I was hit up with 9 chat within 30 minutes. Of course to l had to pay to chat. I dont expend the service for free, but l sure it all Al generate. Still getting smashed with chat bods. I read your profile and you seem to be a very intersting person or other comment of that nature. Funny that happen when all l put up is a photo and have not written any profile details yet.Stay away guys. It Al doing a number on you. 12 woman has hit me up and want to chat with me. Average joe getting smashed. More comments like, lm a very intelligent guy. Love to chat. Here another one that just came up in the chat box. Just checked you profile we have so much in common Love to chat. I wish this stuff was cracked down on. Very suspicous. He your chance to prove me wrong meetville. Give me a free membership for a week to prove what saying here is wrong. Of coures that never happen because they making dollars. Also the other prolem with this site is you have no idea when she was last on line. Another little hidden gem of imformation they like hide from you. The profiles maybe real but 10 years old. Dont go near this website guy. MEETVILLE IS IN Mitchell House 5 Mitchell St Ste 4205, Edinburg...I wonder if this is the real address where they are base. I cant seem to find any other information.
