An amazing experience
An amazing experience!
My teenager daughter and I did a mission trip with them to the Asheville area. It was so well planned and organized, all we needed to do was show up and follow their lead. We greatly enjoyed the evening Bible study time, the morning message, and all the different work/service experiences we got to join in. Their staff was attentive, caring and joyful to be around. It's more than just doing work, it's building a community! We plan to join them for another mission trip next year.
Our church enjoyed its second missions trip with Mission Discovery in June of 2026 (at their Asheville, NC site). The week was profoundly meaningful to our group! Mission Discovery connected us with impactful service projects that allowed us to develop deep relationships within the community, and handled all of the logistical details (freeing our group to enjoy serving together). As usual, the Mission Discovery staff were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and adaptive to help our group have an awesome week of serving and mission. We would HIGHLY recommend Mission Discovery to any group desiring a multi-generational missions trip!
This was unique mission trip with multiple activities to serve and interact with God's people. From manual labor to street ministry the week's days provided a different opportunity to share and experience the light of Jesus along with a group of believers from all over the country. I am so greatful for the time together with those serving and being served.

It was our first time in a Mission…
It was our first time in a Mission Discovery mission trip. My ey affected my heart. It was well put together and organized. I will go again when the opportunity presents itself. One thing, I wish there was more evangelistic emphasis and opportunities for strong Gospel presentation. Thanks for a great mission experience!!
The connections I made from the leaders and peers was a highlight that made this a great trip. I also enjoyed helping the people at love inc out. That was my God sighting for the week seeing their gratefulness for our help

The mission discovery staff are…gifts from God!
The mission discovery staff are amazing! Getting to serve alongside them and feel so supported while we were in Jamaica is beyond wonderful! I would recommend working with Mission Discovery on any group mission experience!

Our group had a great experience in Rapid City, SD
Our group had a great experience in Rapid City, SD working with Love INC. Our Mission Discovery leader, Phil, was very knowledgeable about Love INC and the Rapid City area, which really helped, and he and Isaiah did a great job leading our devotional/worship sessions. The School of Mines provided a nice housing experience for our group with more than enough food to eat. Breakfast was earlier than most teenagers like, but we adapted. Overall, with the beautiful SD scenery and wonderful people we met while working with Love INC, God Sightings were plentiful.
This experience has showed me so much. Especially the love, joy, and thankfulness the people have even in their circumstances. Although the work was hard there still was a joy and fun nature to it. God is truly working through Mission Discovery and it is easy to see.

Incredible job in Jamaica!
Mission discovery an incredible job of giving our students in our group is a whole the opportunity to be the Hanson of Jesus. Their team was incredibly hands-on and pastoral for a group the entire week. The projects were well resourced and allowed us to make the most of every minute, we were there. Josh and Hugh did a great job of leading the crew and then Darren anmd April added another level of support! Rebecca, the intern, was insightful and helpful.
Overall, the team did an amazing job and our crew has come back to the state ready to not only be the hands and feet of Jesus overseas but also in our local community. The connections we had with the local community at all three sites were the glue that really made the weak feel worth it! Being able to connect what we were doing with the people we were doing it for was extremely valuable! All of our students had moments with Jesus, but having a couple now saying they’re interested in long-term helping with mission discovery or in foreign admissions in someway was incredibly encouraging! Thank you for an amazing trip!

A Rejuvenating Experience: Physically and Spirtually
I appreciated how the mission challenges were able to accommodate each participant regardless of age or prior experience. Being the eldest participant was not the disadvantage about which I worried.
I've been able to share and encourage others in my church to consider joining our next mission regardless of their reservations.

Mission Discovery exceeded my expectations once again. The options met everyone's God given gift which allows all to participate. Good overall
Good overall. We really liked Phil and Isaiah. They did a great job and were active participants with the service projects which I thought was pretty cool. They gave our group great recommendations for activities after the work days were complete. The dorm rooms were typical dorms. The only thing I would recommend is trying to have a longer window for the meals. 30 minutes was a pretty tight window.

I recently joined a Mission Discovery trip to Jamaica, and it was an incredible experience.
We had the opportunity to serve alongside local ministry leaders, connect with families and children in the community, and build relationships that will stay with me long after returning home.
The Mission Discovery team did a great job supporting us throughout the week. The logistics were well organized and their servant-hearts were brimming all the time. True joy to work with!
The trip challenged me, strengthened my faith, and reminded me how powerful it can be when people from different backgrounds come together to serve others.
I would highly recommend Mission Discovery to anyone considering a mission trip. I look forward to serving again with them in the future.
This was my first mission trip and I am forever changed because of it. I saw God working all week- through the worksite team, the students, the weather, the locals…God showed up big! The devotional and small group time was such a blessing my soul needed. I hope I’m able to go on another mission with Mission Discovery in the future.
This was our 2nd trip with Mission Discovery. I highly recommend!
We traveled to Rapid City, SD with 17 high schoolers. Once we arrived on location, our Mission Discovery leaders (Phil and Isaiah) met us in the parking lot and helped us get settled in. They did a phenomenal job through the entire week (leading devotions, music, worship, being tour guides, and coordinating an awesome week of service with Love Inc, etc).
The week was nicely organized. We had plenty of work to do. It is always nice as leaders when we can just BE with the group instead of worrying about planning small details. The folks at Love Inc were so welcoming and had lots for us to do - which I appreciate as a leader! Keep these teenagers working :) After the work day, we had a couple hours of free time which allowed us to embark on a couple of hikes which was really awesome.
We worked, played, and laughed hard together. Our relationships with each other, God, and those we came into contact with were strengthened. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
I had a great experience on my mission trip to Asheville, NC. It was really fun to be able to connect with everyone I met and make an impact on their lives. I built some really great relationships and was able to get to know people better. The jobs were fun and a great way to learn new skills. I was a great time and I had fun serving Jesus on the trip
I feel the week was a good mix of hard work, meaningful job site partners lined up by missions discovery, an awesome team (both MD team and the group I came with) opportunities to grow and just have fun!
Housing accommodations were great along with the food.
Our group was impacted by powerful testimonies shared, great worship, and good questions to wrestle with throughout the week. We were also blessed to enjoy Gods creation in the mountains.
Altogether, it just was a great trip. And I’d go again!

Spirit filled week serving others
I have been bringing youth group students on mission trips with Mission Discovery for a little over 20 years. It has always been a great experience. On the trip, I was able to volunteer as a Mission Discovery staff helping lead a few construction sites. It was awesome to watch the groups that were there serve and grow in their faith. God is great and it’s always a joy being a part of His Kindom work!!
