Went with these mounts originally…

Went with these mounts originally instead of chin mounts because the motor adds site talked them down, but I’ve now gone through 4 of them all with the same issue, the adhesive fails quick, owner sent a replacement once but then the issue happened yet again then refused to fix it and said the helmet i have is just to narrow “kyt tt course at the time” since i switched to chin mounts for my tt revo and I couldn’t be happier, more narrow and discreet mount with the ability to remove the camera super easy

The product fits well when installed…

The product fits well when installed correctly. The only complaint I have is the thumb screw is a little weak and my camera won’t stay where i put it . It keeps falling downward

The mount (Flex Slim) is a good mount for difficult to fit helmets. I have a LS2 Advent X and had a hard time finding a camera mount that worked with it's design. I give the mount itself 4 1/2 stars but added a 1/2 star for the customer service I received after the sale. Due to leaving my action camera attached to my helmet in an extremely hot environment (stationary, in direct sun light @ 100+ degrees) the mount started to pull away. I contacted Motoradds to enquire about purchasing a replacement mounting pad and was told they were not available but if I sent them proof of purchase and a photo of the issue they would be happy to try and find a solution. The next day I received an email saying that a new mount was being shipped at no charge.

Motorrads Flex Slim chin Mount?…

I have recently purchased the Flex Slim chin mount for my new Arai Quantic helmet. I followed all the installation instructions to the letter because I am like that. As yet I haven't used the helmet with the camera but have noticed that it is not firmly attached in the centre where the camera would be mounted. This despite appearing to be firmly attached during initial installation. On contacting the company I received a prompt reply and was offered a replacement unit provided I pay the shipping cost, which was £12. I was not prepared to do this as I believe I had already paid a shipping cost for a product that in my opinion had not worked. I have tried to rectify the situation by reheating the sticky tape on the mount but to no avail. I have had other mounts from another company and it has more 'meat' where the camera mounts so I will probably have to remove this Flex Slim mount and purchase one of theirs. It is disappointing that this has happened as in principle this mount was easy to instal and moulded to the Arai shape, but in my case failed to attached itself where it mattered in the centre where the camera, which is a DJI Action Pro 5, sits. I took great care to ensure I followed all the relevant installation instructions to the letter, so I cannot account for the lack of adhesion from the centre of the mount. I do not like writing negative reviews, but this is an honest review to make others aware of my experience.

I didnt like the competition product…

I didnt like the competition product that I tried from seeing thier advertising first, wish I came across motoradds earlier , I just got 2 flex mounts and a clamp mount and the hole mount, all great quaility for a very fair price , I plan to get more mounts from motoradds, thank you 😊 Oh, my package was late because of the carriers fault, not because of motoradds fault , to those morons who give a 1 star because the carrier had a problem , you are dumb and should not be giving reviews if you do not understand how to properly review the company you bought from , not the shipper.

Awesome product and customer service

Awesome product and customer service! Purchased the white flex slim for the Shoei RF-1400white, with vertical mount! The extension piece is crucial to get the best angle imo. Also the bracket holding the Osmo Action 4 was fitting slightly loose (between cam and bracket), but not a lasting problem once laying a thin piece of foam/cloth to resolve the tiny gap. -happy customer

Customer service is 10/10. I lost a piece to my mount. I reached out to them and had a replacement piece in the mail within two days (for free). They have amazing, high quality products and they even come with a bag of skittles!

If you're looking for a helmet chin mount, for your camera. Then I highly recommend the MOTORADDS FLEX SLIM MOUNT. It's the only mount I would trust with my expensive cameras. Fantastic customer service as well

I bought the flex slim mount and it failed after a few weeks, I was sent a new one and took the specific steps. They sent a replacement for free and it came quick. Honestly using them over the competitors from now on because the mounts grip more and I can place them easier.

First and only mount you will need!

I have this mount on my Arai XD-4 and I have never had an issue with it. I purchased a new XD-5 and installed the Chin Mount brand on it but after 1 ride I could tell that it was not supporting the weight correctly. I removed the Chin Mount and installed the Moto Radds mount and have not had any more issues. This will be my go-to mount on any helmet!
