I just completed the questionnaire, fraud

I just completed the questionnaire, and they charged me 200$. I was just trying to see what the process would look like. I received no service or documentation from them as I didnt complete the questionnaire, and immediately told them I didnt want their services and to refund the 200$. They said since I completed their questionnaire (most of it was left blank as I was just looking), they said their service was provided, and they would not refund the money. This website is a scam. Main point of contact was their case manager, Karina, who is a nightmare. Don't expect any help from this company, its the fast food of online divorce websites.

Update: i gave them contact details, never heard back. I have a number of objections. 1 - they make it seem like the $399 fee is going to cover everything. It doesn't. For example, they slide a $40/mo subscription in there and, additionally, there ends up being another $500ish in fees to the government. 2 - support provided - often late, and often with attitude. I got someone on the phone once and she was clearly annoyed. Mind you, I was looking to have a good experience here, not a problem. One of the responses I got to forms I submitted once was also incorrect. It stated that the Notaries license had expired since they signed the papers so i had to have it redone. That is in fact incorrect - as long as the license was valid when they did it, the notarization is valid. 3 - the paperwork is extremely confusing, and they are functionally no help. Someone apparently reviews it somewhere, but you can't speak to them. Who you can speak to is a person somewhere - Latin America I believe - who reads what they wrote but aren't an expert themselves. This service is a joke. And AI has made it obsolete.

I want my money back immediately. It's reprehensible that you advertise $199 and funnel users through your "check eligibility" process and then force them into another $399 for the services they thought they already paid for. Your FAQ that explicitly states "HOW MUCH DOES ONLINEDIVORCE COST?" SAYS NOTHING ABOUT THE $399 CHARGE. I'm not doing business with you.

To upgrade to platinum it should take…

To upgrade to platinum it should take off the $199 that I already paid so now I'm not upgrading Why did they put this review in my ex's name when I'm the one who bought and started the process? This is a waste of money.

Misleading advertising abd outrageous fees

I reached the part where it said this service would help with filling & getting a signature from the spouse due a fee. The fee is another $399. Way too much after I just paid $200 for just paperwork. Im a bit angry now. Another half effort site waiting to rip you off. Misleading advertising & ridiculous fees just to free myself from someone I haven't lived with in years.

I was concerned at first when filing my divorce with this company but after reading the reviews I decided to file. I am very happy I did. First Customer Service is outstanding. I called several times and everyone I got to talk to was very knowledgeable and warm and friendly. There is one customer service agent that went out of his way to help me and his name is Jason. I would differently recommend this company. This is a recent update from this last review onlinedivorce I got my documents to me on December 7th instead of December 12 so I am very pleased with that. I am handicapped so it was very hard to follow the instructions. They give you sample pages to follow to transfer to the original copy’s that have to be signed it would be nice if they just put sticky notes on originals were to sign. I just mailed forms back to company hope it is filled out alright. If not there will send you more of the same forms to be filled out again and you will have to pay more money. I will keep you updated

Great support

This site has been very helpful with great support from their team! They very helpful when I was confused about some of the terminology and process being my first time going through this which is not fun. They are a great source to go through instead of dealing with a lot of legalities and lawyers when you don't have a lot of money to do so. I highly recommend this site when you're not sure how to proceed with such a life altering event. Thanks to all my team members who helped me along the way!
